Tuck's eyes were locked on the fruit that she was holding near her mouth, and a slow smile flickered across his lips. It would be easy to overpower her, pin her down and just... take the fruit from her - or threaten her with tickles or the prospect of being heaved into the lake, but there wasn't any fun in that. Well. There was fun in that, but he honestly wanted to explore this mischievous side of Heidi. Snapping his teeth, Tuck's dimples flashed as he smiled. "Well. What do I got that you want? I mean.. I'ma give you all the kisses you want," Tuck briefly tightened his fingers at her hips, "or I mean, I could do some minipet poop cleanin' for you. Seems a fair trade."

As Tuck snapped his teeth at her she laughed and held the strawberry away, smirking a bit as relaxed again and threatened to eat the strawberry herself. "Goodness, Tuckella! When did you become a gator?" She tapped the strawberry against her lips. His smile made her falter for a moment, her cheeks flushing and her smirk turning into a little smile. She wanted to kiss him again when he smiled at her like that. The tightening of his fingers made her squeak and giggle at first, leaning forward with her head against Tuck's and the strawberry between them. "What kind of girlfriend would I be if I sent you off to do my minipet duties for me?" A delicious strawberry for minipet poop duty did not seem like a fair trade, not even a little bit. Heidi suddenly grinned. "You have to promise that no matter what I do, you will not tickle me for a whole week." That sounded good. To be honest she had been worried that he was going to tickle her when she had decided not to just give in to his demands. She held the strawberry between her lips and moved in closer. A strawberry and a kiss, two birds one stone.

The flush that spread across her cheeks intrigued him, and Tuck shrugged at her question. "Ain't my fault. You make me want to snap you right up," he playfully snapped his teeth again. When she leaned in, he rubbed the tip of his nose against hers. "The worst kinna girlfriend, sweetheart," Tuck chuckled and gave her a skeptical look at her offer. "But since I'm such a gentleman," he wiggled his eyebrows in a very ungentlemanly way, "I promise I ain't gonna tickle you for a whole week." And then she was leaning in with that strawberry between her lips and his stomach tightened. She had no idea what she did to him, how she made his insides all jumbled up. It was so damn attractive to him, the guileless way she acted towards him. He moved towards her and ate the strawberry she offered from her lips, pressing his mouth to hers in a quick kiss before he pulled away with a broad, slow grin. "That was the best strawberry I ever ate."

"Wasn't that what you were doing by asking if I'd be your girlfriend before anyone else could?" Heidi teased when he said he wanted to snap her up. She giggled and scrunched up her nose when he rubbed his against hers, nuzzling close to him with a happy little noise. "I like when you call me sweetheart, didn't you call me babe or something last week?" That had been different. Success. No more tickle torture for a whole week! Heidi considered that a pretty sweet victory. Tuck took the strawberry and Heidi found her heart skipping. She giggled helplessly, returning the kiss with a smile. Best boyfriend ever. But she pouted when he said that was the best strawberry he had ever had. "Not fair," Heidi offered him the bowl. "I'm hungry, too." Heidi sat up straight and waited patiently. "And then I think it might be best if we jump in the lake." The sooner the better. That water was probably freezing cold. Perfect. She needed that right now.

Tuck shuffled Heidi off to the side so that he could nab a few more strawberries. He ate one and offered the other to Heidi with a grin. "Okay, okay. Eat this an' then we're goin' swimmin'." He was very, very captivated by the sight of the berry against Heidi's lips, and Tuck lifted his eyebrows encouragingly as he waited. "I'll even go in first. Or I might throw you in." Smiles for miles.

The thought to be 'sexy' as she ate from Tuck's fingers did not occur to Heidi, not even for a moment. She simply smiled and ate the berry in a careful bite, not wanting to accidentally bite Tuck. She licked her lips, looking up at Tuck as he threatened to throw her in. "...You wouldn't." Heidi slowly started to climb off Tuck's lap. She was prepared to run away just in case..

"I said I wouldn't tickle you. I never said I wouldn't do nothin' else." Tuck didn't move, though, no matter how much he wanted to just to tease her. However, he did remove his shirt. "Hustle up, short stack."

Heidi had made a horrible mistake. She stood. "Yeah but.." If Heidi was getting in that lake she was determined to do it by her own terms. She pulled her shoes and socks off, her shirt following after. "You can't throw me." She was already hurrying to the water while trying not to trip on her own jeans. Tuck was right about her wearing something okay to swim in, a pair of black boy shorts with a pink sports bra was definitely about as good as it got with Heidi. "If I beat you to it~!"

Tuck toed off his sneakers before unfastening his pants. His black boxer briefs kept everything in control as he shucked his jeans before bending to roll off his socks. He laughed as Heidi almost went a**-up, cupping his hands over his mouth so that he could holler a, "Gonna get you!" after her. Warning accomplished, Tuck was after her. If she wasn't in the water by the time he reached her, well. He was gonna throw her in.

Poor Heidi had almost made it to the water by the time he reached her, but she knew she had lost when she felt Tuck's arms around her middle, was carried to the water's edge, and tossed in. She covered her mouth to muffle her cry, though she was laughing even while pretending to be terrified of hitting the water. When Heidi resurfaced she had to pretend she wasn't cold. The water was freezing. It actually felt very nice after a whole week of feeling gross and hot with fever, and then playing with Tuck had made her kind of crave being thrown into cold water for a few minutes now. "You're the worst." Heidi coughed a bit, treading water and pouting at him with feigned displeasure.

"Naw, you think I'm the best, sweetheart, I remember you sayin' it loud n' clear this morning." Tuck dipped a toe into the water and drew back, mock-shivering. "s**t, that's freezing." He rubbed his jaw. "I ain't sure I wanna go swimmin' now." Tuck leveled a glance in Heidi's direction, forcing himself to hide a huge grin.

"That was before you threw me into the lake." But to be honest she felt fine now after the initial shock of cold to her system. When he said he didn't want to swim she squinted at him. He was just being a brat now. Heidi hummed thoughtfully and looked Tuck up and down. She then grinned. "I think you need a dip in some cold water, Tuck," she teased as she found her footing somewhere and reached out for Tuck with a sad little pout. "Pleeeeease~?"

He was totally being a brat. Tuck very manfully cleared his throat and waded out towards Heidi. Yeah, whatever, so his body reacted to her nearness. The water was freezing, but it was pretty refreshing - and not anywhere near as traumatic as the open sea had been. The lake was cool and crisp and perfect. It also served to terminate any rampaging thoughts about all that pale skin that was reaching out for him. "Holy s**t," Tuck sputtered as he sank down to his shoulders in the water. It didn't take long for the water's chill to seep into his skin. He paddle-shuffled over to Heidi and grinned. Broadly. "Gimme a kiss."

When Tuck finally braved the water she gave a happy little cheer. Tuck was a big brave boy! Yay! His demand for a kiss got him a smile as she swam close enough to drape her arms over his shoulders. "Gosh, you're so demanding today, Mister Ross." She happily leaned in for that kiss, giving him something sweeter than their kisses from this morning. If he wanted more he would have to do that himself.

Tuck planted his feet firmly on the rocky bottom of the lake and drew Heidi in for a hug, his arms locking around her lower back. He hefted her up against his chest so that he didn't have to bend down in order to kiss her again. It wasn't a deep, exploring kiss, just a tender meeting of lips to lips. "I know," he grinned brightly down at the blonde in his arms. "You're spoilin' me." Tuck was quiet for a long moment before he next spoke. He just watched Heidi, a slight smile on his lips and his dimples flashing - there and gone. "You're so damned pretty."
