Adrian tilted his head. "Kinda fell from a fire escape and got knocked unconscious... ended up being helped by Lillian though for the moment I'm not in danger of bleeding to death," he said with a deadpan tone as he shifted his jeans slightly down to reveal the dull reddish streaking of dried blood and the dull golden sheen of the semi-hardened layer of herbs; he knew only the outer layer was hardened while the inside was still gooey. "Accidentally jerked a chunk of glass out, but I had an herbal mixture to partially slow the bleeding," he said with a slight shrug. He wasn't going to mention that his head was aching and the sunlight was making it worse. He didn't realize as he notice that detail that he swayed for a moment, though he didn't realize that from the rough fall he had a minor concussion.

Lillian Stood back as she watched her mother going over to Adrian, who had showed where the glass had been imbedded in his skin. She could tell that her mother would want to do a more thorough check-up and wasn't surprised at all when she had asked them both to come with her to get Adrian checked out.
"I think that checing that inside would probably be best, since you may need stitches, if that cut is too bad. I'll have to check up on whether you're covered or not and then figure what this'll cost you... Huh?" she said, yet stopped herself as she heard Lillian whispering something to her. "Good heavens... I'll take care of everything then. It'll all be on me." she said in a soft tone while looking sympathetically at Adrian.

Adrian blinked when Lillian whispered in her mother's ear, though he didn't stop letting her lead him wherever she felt was necessary. "I've found that the herbal mixture I use does slow bleeding and numbs the injury to some extent. I have some of it with me, if you want to look at it," he said as he wobbled slightly, pausing. "Guess I hit my head," he mumbled, not realizing his words were obvious if slightly slurred.

Lillian had told her mother of Adrian's situation, at least as much as had been told to her. She knew that her mother would be the one to be caring about it and would do what she could to help one of LIllian's friends out. Though Lillian had lied about that part and would have to be certain that her mother and father never found out about the tidbit; that and the fact that he didn't exactly have a home.
Lillian's mother noticed Adrian swaying and she went over to him to help support him before telling Lillian to go get a wheelchair. "You poor thing... I'll be sure to get you cleaned up and fixed up, so that you can get yourself home. Though I think that Lillie wants you to stay over for a while so that I can keep an eye on you, to see if things heal up properly. But you don't need to stay if you feel like you're all right, but please let Lillian know if you need anything." she said as she helped Adrian into the wheelchair that Lillian had rushed back with.

Adrian blinked, listening to her. "That'd be helpful, though hopefully... I don't end up with visitors," he said, pausing momentarily as he pulled out the leather pouch as he sat down in the wheelchair, wincing slightly as he caught the subtle scent of blood and realized that the seal on the injury had broken, causing the gel-like mixture and blood mix to leak out; the herbal blend had a pleasant fresh scent, while blood obviously had a coppery scent to it.

Lillian wheeled the wheelchair with Adrian into the hospital, followed by her mother. "I could turn them away if you do end up getting visitors," she said as she looked over her shoulder to her mother who was right on her tail. She knew that her mother would do her business and then head for home, not waiting on Lillian or Adrian to come with her.
"Into this room her Lillie." said Lillian's mother before turning to her Adrian, "I'll have you fixed up in no time and then you can either head home or you can stay the night with Lillian, though it would be best for you to avoid her room as much as possible, as long as her father's home. He's not quite as kind to boys being around our daughter." She then told Lillian to leave the room and had to partly push the blue-haired girl from the room before shutting the door and turning to Adrian again. "I'm going to have to take a look at that cut and I'll need to check how badly you're battered from that fall. This shouldn't take that long, well if we're going to be getting you those shots you need, it may take a while." she said as she went to the sink in the room and scrubbed up, readying herself to help Adrian.

Adrian tilted his head before he unabashedly dropped his jeans, wincing slightly as the amber-crimson gel oozed from the area around where the cut had been. His hand shifted before he jerked the seal free, exhaling as he felt it stinging as it pulled away a bit of skin with it. "I'm patient; gotta be with a few dozen different things, like hunting and cooking," he said with a shrug as he waited carefully, wondering if they had noticed his footwear was practically falling off his feet, it was so worn out, which frankly wasn't much of a surprise since he'd found them in a dumpster. He blinked, glancing down as he felt his feet itching and aching before he blinked, noticing thin trickles of blood oozing through the sides of his shoes near the soles.

Lillian did not like being shoved out of the room, though she figured that it was best, so she decided to go to the vending machines to get something for Adrian to eat after he was finished getting everything done everything that was needing to be done.
Lillian's mother walked over to Adrian in a professional manner and checked over the cut and she thought that it may need some stitches, though that was not a 'must do'. "I will try not to hurt you too much, since I know that Lillie wouldn't want me hurting her friends. And I can get those immunizations that you need ready in a little while. I may give you stitches, but this doesn't look as bad as Lillie was making it out to be when she whispered to me, though she was never good with blood." she said as she got things that would be needed to clean and bandage the wound. When she walked over she carefully cleaned the cut with alcohol and apologized, guessing that it would hurt since the cut had reopened.
She then commented in a kindly voice on what Adrian had said, "You go hunting? My husband likes to go hunting, so maybe if you'd want you could, go with him? And perhaps you could teach Lillie a thing or two about cooking, since she butchers anything that she tried to cook..."

Adrian tilted his head, the only sign that the alcohol bothering him that he showed was a sharp inhalation. "Gotta eat, and hunting or fishing is the only way I can... though frankly," he said softly, wincing as he unintentionally kicked the heel of his shoe against the side of the examination table, causing the sole to drop to the floor with a noticeable splat sound. He blinked at the sound and seeing the sole of the heavily worn sneaker falling as he inhaled slowly through his nose as he felt a chill on the bottom of his aching feet, unaware there were quite a few shallow cuts and scrapes on the soles of both feet.

Rosaline, Lillian's mother, did not hear the sharp inhalation coming from Adrian, so she was unaware that her cleaning his cut had bothered him any. When she heard him saying that hunting and fishing were the only ways that he could eat she was utterly confused. She had finally finished cleaning and dressing the cut before she heard something hitting the floor. Looking down Roseline saw the sole of Adrian's shoe on the floor. Her eyes were wide with surprise as she knelt down to get the sole of the shoe and then noticed the bottom of Adrian's foot. "You poor boy... I've got a lot more to do for you don't I?" she said before going over to her supplies to get something for Adrian's foot. She felt obligated to help Adrian, due to her thinking that he and Lillian were friends, though she was mostly helping her because she was just that kind of person; perhaps that's where Lillian got that from.

Adrian blinked when Lillian's mother spoke, confused. "Huh? I did step on a few broken and thorny branches a few days ago, but I didn't think anything of it," he said blankly, confused. "I did find something interesting not too far from where I've been living. It was a pear tree that had grown out of a rosebush with white roses," he said quietly.

Rosaline sighed as she heard that it had been more than a day that Adrian had stepped on some thorny branches. That could mean that there may have been an infection growing in the little cuts, if there wasn't already an infection. "That's nice," she said, not all that interested in anything other than getting the boy cleaned up and ready to get his vaccinations. She went over and looked at his foot, checking for infection, before telling him that she'd be a little while in getting the shots for him that he'd need and with that she walked out of the room, noticing a seemingly impatient Lillian standing outside the door. She knew that Lillian knew better than to go into the room, though that didn't make her not want to go in to see if Adrian was all right even if she didn't really know him.
She knew that it would be a bit before she was able to get the immunizations ready. Although once she had them all she headed to the room she had left Adrian in and then set them over on the counter by the sink; turning to Adrian again. "I apologize if I kept you waiting too long. Oh, and here are some snacks that Lillie got for you, though you can wait until after you're finished in here to eat them."

Adrian grinned roguishly for a moment, unaware how it made him look. "I'm always patient, and besides, if you say I shouldn't put weight on my feet so they can heal, I can always walk on my hands," he said jokingly. He heard her mention the snacks and blushed slightly as he heard a low gurgling growl escape his abdomen. "I read something that always stuck in my head once. I can only control my own actions and how I react to the actions of others, so why try to control others?" he said softly, quoting what he'd recalled reading even after the several years it had been since he read it.

Rosaline looked at Adrian and noticed his grin thinking, 'What on earth is that look for?' She did smirk at his comment of walking on his hanads and said, "There'll be no need for that. I am pretty sure that your feet will be all right." She then told Adrian that she was going to give the vaccinations then and she administered them as quickly as was possible, putting plain bandages on each and then said, "There you go. You'll not need to come back in for shots for a good long while, though check-ups would be recommended," she paused and then turned to grab her purse that had been lying on the counter with her medical supplies and she pulled out her wallet and some money.
"I'm not sure if Lillie has offered you any already, though I think that I can spare some for you, even if she has and she could take you out so that you can get some new things." Rosaline said kindly with a soft smile about her face. While she did this she heard Lillian asking if it was all right to come in and received a "no" from her mother.

Adrian tilted his head with a small smile as Lillian's mother spoke before taking care of the vaccinations. He nodded when she spoke afterward before she turned to grab her purse. "She already has, ma'am, and honestly... I envy her to some extent, since... well," he said with a shrug. He was trying to tell her that he had little in the way of family, though he wasn't sure if she'd understand.
