My character, Alice whom I've decided, is a rather complicated individual, so it took me a bit of a while to finish her background and all. If it were any other character, I would have finished faster. 3nodding

My character, Alice whom I've decided, is a rather complicated individual, so it took me a bit of a while to finish her background and all. If it were any other character, I would have finished faster. 3nodding I would have welcomed the challenge with open arms. I was taught when I wanted to sign up for a dedicated forum RP site that the older your character is the more detail you have to put into your history. They even wanted you to describe in detail the weapons and items your character carries. It was an insane sign up process and they'd reject people for not having enough or too much detail in the background for the age the character is. xp

Guess what: Before DMS went public, you had to have this item on you so it will grant you access to get in the cave. You either have to have the Bloodstone Amulet, or the Bloodstone Gem. (You have to wear the amulet in your avatar to get in, but the gem is just with you any time. I bought the gem three days after DMS was released and it was easier than having to pick an outfit to match with the amulet.)
Seeing blood stone in the rp's story made me smile like an idiot.

I don't mind it at all! I tend to write quite a bit for characters anyway. I did make a major breakthrough, though! I named my character! lol I say this is a breakthrough because I could sit at a computer for hours before settling on a name.

Once you get a name and occupation the rest just seems to fall into place. Heck, expect to see a healthy chunk of my character's backstory show up in the RP. I'm not going to pull in her entire family for this thing but her Barton living relatives will show up in my first character post. Gotta have someone who thinks she's completely insane for wanting to join the Club who's lived in Barton for nearly eighty years, and heard her father's stories about Smithe's cursed expedition and what it did to the town, try and talk some sense into her. xp

Hey gang, just a bit of an update. I'd like to start going on the RP after the upcoming holiday week. I'll be going to Wisconsin next week and won't have WIFI access. Plus, I want to tweak my post to start the whole RP. I haven't forgotten about the thing. I just wanted to let people concentrate on the event at the moment. So look for another update about things a week from Monday.
