Heidi waited patiently, her vest already packed up in her bag, and her converse had been pushed aside with her feet. Nothing else was coming off until Tuck was gone, and so she just stood there with her hands on her hips and gave Tuck an expectant look.

Theeeere we go. She smiled. "Don't hurt yourself, Forest," she teased as he left, changing into her pajamas once he was safely gone.

When Tuck returned any food that was untouched had been neatly packed into the basket again, half-eaten food had been..well..

...She finished it. She won't lie. She ate it.

And the small blonde girl was sitting cross legged in the middle of the bed, scrolling through twitter with an amused smile and a raised brow. So that was what he'd been doing when she'd tried to read over his shoulder. Third base was a little much, Gnat. Why did Stormy look sad? That was weird.

When the door opened she looked up, locking her phone screen and leaning over to toss her phone in her bag. See! He did look good in green! "Welcome back! I like your shirt," Heidi teased with a grin.

Eh? Now what? "So?"

Heidi laughed. "You're welcome!"

And then she was given another unexpected kiss. Oh! Well! This was nice! She smiled against Tuck's lips and moved carefully to sit on her knees, her hands supporting herself against his chest. She was quickly finding she really liked kissing Tuck.

Heidi was not used to affection like this. Not even a little bit. A kiss on the cheek? Fine. Temple? Sure. The top of her head? The back of her hand? Totally, those were fine. But no one had ever held her face and kissed her. She really had no idea what she was doing, she'd just follow along with whatever Tuck did or guided her to do. Her hands clenched into tight fists that tugged at the front of his t-shirt as Tuck deepened the kiss, her breath hitching. She hadn't been expecting that.

This was nice..really nice. It felt awesome.

She moved closer on her knees until she felt Tuck's legs stopping her and then she almost whined, managing to hold it in so as not to worry him. Heidi leaned in close, making an effort to reciprocate in a way that didn't make her feel like she was going to disappoint Tuck.

The sudden end to the kiss surprised and actually made Heidi whine in protest until she abruptly cut herself off. No. Don't do that. You'll look stupid. She panted quietly now that she could finally breathe properly, swallowing hard and opening her eyes to look up at Tuck. What? But...she liked this! She wanted more kisses! "Okay," she agreed quietly, clearing her throat and letting go of Tuck's shirt. She sat back on her heels, her face flushed and eyes lidded. She was smiling. "Sorry if I um..overdid it? I..I just really.." Maybe it was obvious.

She rubbed the back of her neck and rearranged herself to sit with a bit of distance between her and Tuck. Just enough that they were no longer touching. "Soooo...sleep?" Tonight. He had said they were done for tonight. That meant they could do it more tomorrow? She did like this idea.

"Thank you again for tonight. It's been the best."

Oh, good. She was fine. Heidi did look mildly confused about getting carried away, but it was obvious when it clicked. Her eyes widened and she sat back against the wall, her fingers pressing to her lips. Carried away holy cow. "I like kissing you, too." It was almost weird to say that. She'd never told anyone that before, and she didn't think she'd ever be telling anyone that, much less Tuck of all people. She giggled quietly to herself. Heidi, you're being stupid. Calm down. It was just a couple kisses.

When asked to turn the lights off Heidi nodded and climbed off the bed with a little 'sure, sure~'. She really had no idea what the actual reason for him asking her to get up and turn the lights off was. That was a good thing, a very good thing. She was quick to turn off all the lights, glad it had been dim in the room to begin with so her eyes were already mostly adjusted. It made it easier to return to the bed, standing beside it and waiting for Tuck to get arranged before she flopped down on the bed beside him. "You okay, Tuck?" Heidi blinked, rolling onto her side to face him. "It's...okay that I'm staying, right?" It was an honest question. He had asked her to stay, he wanted her to stay more often to help him sleep, and she was more than happy to but he was acting kind of funny. Was it the kiss? Oh no. Was he worried about something? It was just a kiss! She was just..in the heat of the moment! She'd be okay once she'd slept it off! Really! Aw, man. She made him uncomfortable. Heidi picked idly at the blanket. "We're okay, right? I mean, I think we are. But do you? Nothing has to, like, change drastically?" She didn't want Tuck to be uncomfortable. Did she mess up? He'd said he wanted to kiss her, so she kissed him and liked it so she just..kept doing it...was she wrong to do that?

Tuck was acting so weird. She blinked as he covered her with the blanket and left himself without it. "You just..?" Talking was important! She would just get more and more worried if he didn't finish his freakin' sentences. Maybe this was too heavy. Maybe he needed something normal, something comfortable and familiar.

...The blanket was a good start. "When did you become Edward and I became Bella? You're stealing my gig." She was referring to how Edward would wrap Bella in blankets like a burrito...mostly. He was also acting strange and cryptic like Edward while she asked and pushed all the questions like Bella.

She never authorized a role reversal, Tuck.

Tuck rolled over an Heidi pouted quietly in the dark. He wasn't going to hold her again? It'd been nice last time..but okay.

What? Heidi's brow furrowed. "I do--"

Wait.

..Oh god.

Her eyes widened, she sat up abruptly. "Whoa I..I am so sorry holy crap I...I didn't know! I'm sorry!" A minute? He just..needed a minute? What should she do? Send him away to go take..uh...care of it? Maybe she should leave. He wanted her here but he was uncomfortable and she didn't want to make this more awkward for him than it probably was and holy crap she did that to him how did that even what just oh god what should she do?!

Heidi cleared her throat, giving the door a furtive glance. She didn't want to leave but suddenly Heidi was feeling like she really, really should. She trusted Tuck, she trusted herself, but there was no way that could be comfortable to have and not be able to do anything about. Oh god. She was a monster. What had she done to him? How could she be so thoughtless?!

"..I can sleep on the floor," was Heidi's first suggestion, "or I can...give you space.." A lot more space than just her moving to the floor.
