Finally it seemed her wriggling and thrashing had paid off. The bar gave way! And oh god she almost fell from her chair! Now how to get down and to safety? She couldn't jump...but could she...here? In the ferris wheel chair? Looking around at the nearest seats to her she noted the people still stuck in them seemed rather occupied, and not with her. This was good. It gave her an opening she hadn't thought she'd get.
It didn't take long, and she made sure that once again no one had been paying her any attention. Assured no one had seen, and no one was looking even now, she let herself drop from her seat. The landing jolted her as her heeled boots smacked the ground hard, silently cursing from the jarring landing, she chanced a look around. Those people up there needed to be gotten down, where they could at least run from the youma. But what could she do about that?

The second she had gotten out of the jammed drop tower seat Zia needed a quick moment to regain her bearings and figure out where everyone else was. Paris and Chris were on another ride, they weren't here. Pascal should've-- should've been...
Oh there he was, he was hugging her. It only clicked half a second later he had also been stuck in the drop tower seats and she left him behind in her sudden panic attack at being restrained.
She had gone into sensory overload, and coped by burying her face in his shirt. When she glanced up, though, the first thing she saw was a civilian dropping starseed-less. It was not comforting, not because of her own safety, but because of the civilian she was currently clinging too. She clung harder, fingertips pressing into the flesh they landed on when she hugged him.
"Youma," She murmured. No time to bother with someones or somethings who whoevers, He knew, she knew. She'd been attacked before, and judging by his reaction that time, she figured he had too. It was time to cut to the chase.
Or... something. Zia blew her brief moment of sanctuary by darting away. She'd caught her breath, no time to whimper and cry. "Come on, we have to meet up with the others!" And then she stopped in mid action as she realized something and pointed to him as seriously as she could. "And don't you dare try to tell me not to blame the ride, Lalande, terrorist infestation or not!" Near death experiences needed more humor, clearly.

"Idon'twanttobehere," Ainsley mumbled over and over again as she tried to protect herself from the continuing attack from the flying crocodile duck thing. It didn't matter what it was anymore, or what it looked like, and the only thing that matter was she was trapped on the Giant Swings at the highest point being attacked. It might have mattered at first what she was being attacked by but that moment had passed and now she just sobbed.
The chaos ensuring around here was not gone unnoticed though. She could just barely see as Chris and Paris were attacked by something. She couldn't see if it was a youma exactly because she couldn't make its form out but she had a hunch that it was, and she felt sick to her stomach. This was all too much! Her small body began shaking, and her sobs only increased, at least until the youma came back for Round 2. It's talons struck her and she let out a wail of a shriek, followed by a scream as the chair she was in moved quiet abruptly.
"Someone... anyone... help me!" She cried out.

Pascal's hands could only do one thing as Zia found her face in his shirt, pet the top of her head as he ran his fingers through her curls. When she clung even harder, her fingertips pressing into his skin, his face fell to an unrecognizable expression. She was acting foreign to him but it wasn't surprising. It wasn't very often they were put in a situation, at least together as Zia and Pascal, that would put their lives in danger. He wanted to get her out of here, far away from this mess, but could they even get out? There was so much chaos around them, and so many youma.
"Youma."
Pascal knew she knew but he didn't want to admit it but here it was coming from her lips. He wanted to believe it was just something just Orpheus knew, something different from this reality but when had Pascal really ever been that optimistic? He knew the universe just wanted to ******** with him.
"Come on, we have to meet up with the others!"
Pascal frowned a bit to be honest. He didn't care about the others when Zia's life was endanger here. Chris could take care of Paris, or really Paris could take care of himself since he was a guy and all. Why did she need to go meet up with them? He didn't want to run through the carnival looking for them when they could have already left, when all he wanted to do was leave with Zia before she got hurt. However, before he could even say anything she was already on her way. He might not have liked it but Zia wasn't going to just leave, and dragging her would put her in more danger than she was on her own. Maybe, just maybe, they could stay undetected. If they couldn't, he'd just have to protect her.
"So if we go to a bar and some youma attack us, you'll never go to a bar?" He teased, following her unseen.

Persephone managed to get powered up - but apparently that was a bad idea. Her energy signature must have tipped something off, because a strange, twisted spider youma leapt into her cup with her, and she found herself flailing and punching at it. This really wasn't going well at all, damn! Sandals just didn't have the same kind of kick-y impact as thick and heavy boots.
Ooh, she could go for some boots. That would make spider-thing-stomping a lot easier. However, it seemed to do well enough - with a few more strikes, the spiderthing was dust!

Another male target this time, grabbing the man by the arm as he ran past, Leucite, flipped him onto his back onto the ground and placed his hands on his chest, draining the man almost all the way of his energy before pocketing the sizable orb.
He was doing well. He didn't even know what his haul had netted him so far - but he knew it was a fair take.
The child still clinging to her back she made her way to she edge and try desperately to keep herself from getting dizzy. She was looking for a clear spot because she was going to have to jump, but thinking about the child on her back she changed her mind. She would have to jump into the crowd, there was no avoiding it.
As she prepared to jump she felt a hand on her leg and almost kicked it off, only to see it was a young boy who proceeded to put his foot through a youma's head turning it to dust and making Maia rather impressed.
"We have to jump," she informed him and the little girl clinging to her back. Two nods and she got ready, holding tight to the boy and grabbing on to the girl's arms which were clamped firmly around her her neck. When the largest part of the crowd came up she jumped.
The ride was spinning so quickly she was thrown by it force a bit sideways , but she managed to keep hold of the little boy and the trio landed rough on a few members of the crowd.
Maia stood little girl still clinging to her, the little boy now holding on her leg before he took off in front of her and jumped into a man, who she assumed was his father's arms. The little girl was pried off of her by an estatic woman, but most looked at her rather wary.
She dusted herself off and spoke, "Keep those monsters off the ride. Use whatever you can, they aren't to hard to kill. Those stuck will be safe if those monsters can't get on the ride. I'm going to try to put a stop to this."
She didn't really wait for a response before she ran off.

With his swing listing to one side and teetering alarmingly, Paris was unsure how he wanted to proceed. Somehow staying right where he was seemed safe enough despite the youma continuously swooping in on them. If he could just get rid of it, and if no more follow suit, then it seemed to him a perch up high might offer them a bit of an advantage. It was always better to be on the higher ground, wasn't it? Then again... this was perhaps a bit too high.
Being down on the ground would certainly be more steadying, and maybe then the sense of panic would ease.
Despite Paris's reservations, Chris managed to get the bar across Paris's seat unlatched. Paris gripped tightly to the remaining chains and thanked all of his many active hours for the strength to hold himself up. Now all he had to do was get down without slipping or losing his grip. Death by carnival ride was not really high on his priority list at this point in life.
“s**t,” he cursed again, not above showing a little fear in the face of such a hazardous situation. He looked across at Chris and contemplated his next move. He had to find the others. He had to help Chris down. He had to help the rest of the people trapped up here down.
But he couldn't do that on his minuscule strength alone.
“s**t, okay,” he said, swallowing heavily and tightening his hold on the chains as he grasped desperately for courage. “Just... hang tight. I'll, um... yeah, just going to shimmy on down and do my thing.”
The going was slow, but Paris managed to lower himself inch by terrifying inch down the chain that had been severed. It did not fall all the way to the ground—the swings had come to a stop too high in the air for that—but it put him close enough to jump without fear of hurting himself too badly. His landing was jarring and wobbly, and his quick dash to the side to find something to hide behind was equally as graceless, yet he felt more secure and knew he was just one step closer to... er, well, not fixing anything, really, but at least having a better grasp of the situation.
Ducking behind an abandoned food stall, Paris pulled the pen that had been conspicuously digging into his hip-joint out of his pocket, and after a quick glance around to make sure that either no one was watching or they were too preoccupied with the many youma swarming the place to pay attention, he muttered a quick transformation and rose soon after as Eternal Sailor Ganymede.
He slipped back out into the open in full fuku, tilting his head back to get a good view at the swings and the people still trapped in them.
“Can you get out?” he called to Chris, making a move for the large pole in the center of the ride as he considered climbing back up. “I can come back up and help!”

"Well not that bar," Zia snorted, and then laughed. "Or maybe. Because that's a bar, and these are rides, and they might be pretty to look at, but I have no interest in strapping in one ever again."
She was awfully casual about her own safety, or trying to be, at least. Zia didn't like openly showing fear, which was why she was often at her sarcastic worst the more afraid she was. But what she was more openly afraid for was his safety. He was only human, after all.
It was only natural that all that lacking alertness upgraded her risk status from unseen to open target.
"I just wanted to see the shows at the big top, geez."

His weapon banished, for now, and his gloved hands held a young man, maybe twenty three or so, tightly. Holding a thrashing person in place was not easy but as he drained their energy the fighting eased and their resistance lessened. Taking advantage of the mans lack of fight, and energy, the blond brought him to the ground and once satisfied with his energy pull he left the man, conscious, on the ground.
Standing up straight he continued on his way. Cape and coat billowing out behind him like some super villain from a movie. The blonds kept his eyes out for any of those who represented the white moon. He could already feel those all too familiar signatures. It was only a matter of time before things got ruined - wasn't it. Meaning he'd better get more done before things came to an end.

Leucite continued to grab at wandering civilians, though now he was starting to get less picky. He avoided grabbing children though, but if they looked like they were in their late teens or older, they were fair game. This last one couldn't have been older than 16 though, so when he pressed his hand to her chest, he definitely felt... Wrong.
He only drained a little energy from her, just enough to form an orb of a size that wasn't embarrassing and then sent her on her way - a little worse for wear.
He still kept an eye out for order members, scanning the crowd and hoping he didn't have to stop gathering energy. He was having a great haul.
The youma coming at him stunned him, froze him in place, as he stared at the large thing coming his way. He could have, should have, turned and ran but he stood rooted to his spot. It looked like some sort of cross between a bat and an orchid, if that made any sense really. But it was large and very odd looking. Having never seen a youma before it was no wonder he was frozen as he was.
It was because of this that he got a first hand experience of having his energy drained. And as the youma came upon him he felt his energy leaving him. A sort of ill, nervous, feeling filled him as the youma pulled a dementor, as he could find no other way to describe it. It was like the soul sucking of the dementors from Harry Potter, and it was enough to scare the dark haired senshi. It also left him drained and shaking as he managed to force his legs to remain under him. Fending the youma off to the best of his ability, swinging his arms back and forth at it like an idiot.
Ian/Chaldene's rolls
- Bump cars - The ride is getting the better of you: regardless of what team you are on, you are having some difficulty with your 'chosen' location. Dizzy, stuck on something, fallen out of the bumper car, attacked by a youma and taken damage: you are put in a bad situation. - Order, you are fighting youma, with numbers 5 and up allowing you to dust them! - You are free of your ride! You must deal with the impact of it, and figure out just how you've gotten free, but you are free nonetheless! Chaos, you may attack senshi and civilians once you're free of the ride! - Youma attack! If you are not in a battle with a Negaverse soldier or rolling in response to something they have done, this number reflects a youma attacking you successfully. You may have been injured in this attack.
Persephone was actually pretty proud of herself, managing a rather nice backflip out of her cup after she finished off the youma. She stood and dusted herself off, spinning around. Oh yes, the Negaverse was here in force, and she could sense them - but she could also sense a number of strong Order signatures, and that made the green-haired girl smile. She wasn't alone here! Even if she got in trouble - and she always seemed to, she was practically a professional at that - she would have some backup.
So when her eyes fell on an officer draining a young girl, she felt confident running over to him.
"Hey! You!" She shouted. Sure, he'd let the girl go - but she wasn't exactly feeling up to letting him walk off.

She could feel it, a General, that sick feeling she'd felt with the two Generals she'd run into in the past. She didn't like that feeling and it was close, closer than the other feelings that screamed General to her. It was while she was making her way through the throngs ofpeople that she spotted a familiar outfit and shuddered. He was here and there was no senshi and knight to save her. Deciding to change course, she really didn't feel safe being too close to the blond General the page soon found her attention ripped away from the wandering General.
Not far away she spotted a sobbing child who was clutching one of the cheap stuffed animals offered here. As she neared, and people moved out of the way, she took notice of what was making the child so upset. It seemed there was a youma threatening the child. That alone had the dark haired page upset and throwing the little toy, weapon, she had at it she didn't care if the item might break. She wanted it's attention on her. And as it approached her she kicked it, heels meeting the things drooling face. Grinding her heel into it's face she wasn't expecting it to burst into dust. That was it? Hurrying over to the child she lifted them and hurried them toward the way she'd taken to get here. She left them in a hiding spot, under a platform, in the hopes they wouldn't be found. Telling them, right before she left, to run for the parking lot if and when they could. She didn't know what else to do. Staying here was as unsafe, in her opinion, as it would be to run for the parking lot. She didn't know the exits were all closed off.

It would figure the ONE time he was slightly off his game is when the senshi would finally show up. This Senshi had shown up at completely the wrong time. Leucite had let the girl go, and she was hobbling off, so when he turned, he frowned and without a second thought, he charged her head on, fist held high ready to knock her teeth back into her head.
That was until he tripped over a discarded backpack and went sprawling, head over a**, landing not even a foot from the senshi.
"@#$#%!" He bellowed as he bounced, attempting to get back on his feet and back into the fight before the senshi got the upper hand.
