Adam shuddered when he felt someone's hand on shoulder. He eased up when he saw it was just Wayra. "Oh! Oh, I see. Thank you, I'll take your word for it." He backed up a bit. "I do believe you have more experience with these sorts of things."
He didn't have to think long about which place he was looking forward to most. He was visibly excited. His eyes were gleaming and he was rubbing his hands together. "How about someplace by the water?" Then, he panned with his hands like he was talking about some big piece of real estate. "It's not everyday you get to have such a close view of the oceanfront. And it's going to look even better with all of the exotic wildlife there!"

[Entering]
Tooly, hiccups unabated, had listened as intently as she could through the opening speech. It honestly sounded too good to be true! She'd heard of Mr. Whorl's escapades in his search for magic. It had always been a sort of fringe interest of hers, though. Like seeing what Lady Gaga was wearing now, or who Anonymous had targeted; always worth looking, but without true impact. Yet here she was, about to go see real live mythological creatures!
While she was holding her breath in an attempt to kill the hiccups, Tooly was quiet as she stayed near her group as she pondered the implications of magic, real magic loose in the world. As she followed her groups into the SUVs, she decided she liked those implications.

Layla walked over to Tobias and September with a cheerful smile, she wasn't nervous at all, well maybe a little but only because she was worried about the guests being unruly not her 'babies'. She fiddled with the tip of her braid and then quickly shoved it back.
"Tobias I'm glad you'll be with us to help keep the guests in line we wouldn't want any of the creatures disturbed after all. September I was thinking since this is the dragon group we could take them to Monster Mountain I saw several very active creatures there earlier when I was feeding them. What do you think?"
She turned excitedly at the news that the vehicles had arrived.
"Oh fantastic, would either of you gentlemen prefer to drive?"
She turned back to the group smile still bright. "If the dragon group could all please gather over here and introduce yourselves? We'll be heading out shortly and I'm sure you're all eager to be off but we do want to make sure you all know how to behave in a safe manner! Knowing who's who and your specialties could help and maybe buddying up with someone as well. Let us know if you have any questions before we head off!"

Louise wasn't entirely sure what had gone on, but he assumed that the two of them had had to leave for important business matters. Hearing Hannah call out for his group, he suddenly remembered he had important things to do too.
Though he wasn't sure he had liked that look that Tony had given him. He was going to have to keep an eye out for him. Maybe he had interrupted something dastardly! Thinking of just what diabolical things might be underfoot, Louise stumbled after his group, and followed them out to their vehicle.
It was entertaining, he had to admit. All of these new people milling about, eyes wide with wonder and excitement, some of them looking as though they were ready to dive straight in to the throes of the park without a second thought. Tobias watched them with slightly narrowed eyes, a smile quirking the corners of his lips upwards.
These creatures aren't worth their attention, he thought, and sighed. He supposed it was a jaded way of thinking, but he'd been working here too long to think otherwise. These things were not natural. However, the facts remained that, a) he did need the job and the money it provided, and, b) on some days it could actually be relatively interesting.
(and c) he'd met September through his work, which was always a bonus)
He felt a hand against his own, Tobias's eyes sliding sideways to catch September's familiar green-eyed gaze, the look on his face a reassuring one. He squeezed his hand back gratefully and then looked out at the guests again, a smirk playing on his face as he ducked his head to mutter something in September's ear that only he could hear (hint: it was most likely ridiculously flirtatious and probably entirely inappropriate for their setting, but since no one would hear it but September, there was no harm no foul, right?)
Tobias maneuvered his way through the crowd towards Layla, clapping a hand on her shoulder and smiling around at the wide-eyed guests.
"Everyone ready to go?" he asked, his voice booming above the noise of voices, whispers, and laughter. "After we introduce ourselves, we'll hop in the car and take off!"

Brief Character Profile: He's pretty laid back, but he's also got a bit of an edge to him, especially when it comes to dealing with the creatures in the park. He's boisterous and cheerful, and he can be fun to hang around, but if he's irritated, or if he's dealing with the creatures, that cheerfulness turns into mild sarcasm, slight bitterness, and sardonic comments here and there. He's strong-minded, but tell him to back off and he usually will.

"That sounds great!", Wayra replied, gleefully clapping her hands together. "A hot day certainly calls for a cool environment." Then a though popped into her head that made her eyes sparkle like a kid in a candy store. "Do you think they'd let us swim with the aquatic life?!", she gasped as she clutched her hands to her chest in a vain attempt to control her excitement. "Oh, if they would allow us, that would be absolutely wonderful!"
By now, Wayra was suppressing the urge to jump up and down and decided that waiting any longer was a waste. "Miss Kiera, Miss Neala, when can we leave? Adam and I agreed that if we could, we'd like to go to a water area.", Wayra asked, hoping one of them could provide her with an answer. Then she was reminded of one small snag. "Though I suppose we need to collect Lydia first."
She turned to the man Lydia had been fawning over earlier. "Algie... was it? You and Lydia looked like you might be close, or at least she seems to like you. Do you happen to know what happened with Lydia earlier, and how we can get her attention without unintentionally setting her off?", Wayra asked as she glanced over to see the woman still pacing as the other occupants of the building gave her wide berth.

Guest Name: Wayra Parnella Guest Profession: Zoo Veterinarian Physical Description: Late twenties, five foot three inches, average body build, hazel eyes, waist-length reddish brown hair pulled back in a green hair tie. Wearing a green short sleeve shirt, navy blue vest over the shirt, khaki pants with side pockets, and sneakers. Brief Character Profile: Wayra is a highly curious, happy, and energetic person. She has a few years of veterinary medicine under her belt and loves animals. She enjoys being in groups and talking to other people, especially when the topic is about animals. She accepted an invitation to the park because of the rumors of unique animals residing there.
"I don't see why not. It sounds like it'd be fun. If they're friendly like dolphins, I mean. If there're, like, scyllas in there..." Adam shivered. He could imagine the obituary now: Idiot lawyer eaten swimming with sea monsters. He laughed nervously. "...I'd have to pass."
As far as he knew, Lydia was still pacing around in the middle of room somewhere. She was an odd woman, but he worried still. "I'm hoping she's doing better now. Time heals all wounds, am I right?" He shrugged. But was she even wounded or just incredibly excited? They both looked similar from the outside.

Algie had been listening, rapt to Mr. Whorl's speech, when Lydia had howled out. He could pinpoint her location by the collective jump of surprise by all the milling guests around the woman. He didn't really know what to do with her.. or about her. She seemed nice enough but things like this... well they were simply out of his league.
"I don't ah.. hah.." He rubbed his chin, "know her. We met on the boat but I'll uhh try and calm her?" Thankfully it seemed the others had decided where they wanted to go.
"Lydia.. we're here.." Algie found the woman by following the screams and gossiping people. "Team ah.. merman? Hah.." He laughed nervously, mostly on account of not knowing what sort of reaction she'd have.

Guest Name: Algie Mixlin Guest Profession: Comic Writer - Lecturer - Professor Group: Mermaid Physical Description: Fifties, salt and pepper neatly cut hair, he's a sort of tired-scruffy version of handsome. He dresses like a typical english professor type... sweaters, button up shirts, scarves, etc. Brief Character Profile: Algie become known for writing what are now known as 'classic' comics. Edgy politically fueled hero stories which changed the way many looked at the hero complex. He was never fond of the spotlight (not like theres much in comics) and has continued to live, almost hermit like, in a small village that is his home town. He doesn't write many comics anymore (a few small things here and there), instead often guest lectures at universities and teaches writing. He rarely makes appearances or signings and has denied connection to any movies or shows made of his works. (( Think Alan Moore-esque))
Catching the gesture and call from their female tour guide he grins to Cora and motions her on with a gesture of his head, "ready?" Heading off after the others he leaves a hand open and extended from his body for his best friend to attach to as she catches up.

Entering. Steve walks around and starts yelling " who called the gnome group here? I had the perfect spot to find the animals in the car." He wonders around trying to find the rest of the group.
Harlan was still feeling a little overwhelmed, but he followed after Steve almost like a lost little puppy. The other man had fixed his toupee.
They'd shared a moment.
"Mr. Steve. Did you see.. Mr. Steve, did you see the creatures outside?!"

"I did Mr. Wimple it was a little crazy wasn't it?" He looked at him with grin for this was the first time since they met that Mr. Wimple wasn't threatening to take any legal actions against anyone, unless he was going to try to go after the thing in the water for waving without a license he thought to himself. "Do you suppose they treated the animal with respect when they trained it to do that?"

Wickett monitored his phone during the speech, staying well out of the spotlight. He looked ghostly and out of place in the grand and polished hallway.
Magic and imagination.
Wickett allowed himself a rare and private smile. Moore seemed excited, at least. Although it was difficult to tell if it was from the realization of a long-time dream, or the company.
He took some time to check some system anomalies, and give the buffet staff a very stern talk about serving temperatures, before he drifted quietly to Abigail's shoulder.
"Ms. Matthews. If you're ready. And the rest of you. Mr. Wimple, Mr. Inmahgrills. You're with me."
Steve looks at the man and back to Mr. Wimple gives a shrug and starts to follow back to the car. " I want my spot back." exits to car.

"Yes, sir, Mr. Wickett, I'm ready if you are!" Abigail chirped, looking over their rather motley crew. None of them seemed particularly dangerous, or threatening, or, well, anything that might make the creatures uncomfortable. She breathed an audible sigh of relief. "Okay, everyone, if you'll please follow us, there's a car ready for us to use to get around the park!"
