  Location: Snow Manor - my wedding
David still couldn't believe it actually happened. He'd gotten married... and to Shayna the girl of his dreams. He couldn't have done it without Xavier his best bud and best man. Now that the ceremony had come and gone and they’d said their ‘I do’s’ David had glued himself to his new wife. Not surprising considering just how stunning she was. Though, David would argue that Shayna looked stunning every day of the year, today definitely topped the cake.
Of course the moment the reception came he knew they were going to be bombarded with congratulations from family and friends. David didn’t mind since he knew he and Shayna would have a life time to spend together. They had already been living together for quite some time so tying the note wasn’t a big change. However it was certainly a delight for David none the less.
Looking at Shayna he couldn’t stop smiling. This was probably the best day of his life. “So Mrs. Clarisse shall we get to see our guests?” David asked her brightly. His smile only widened as he called her by her official last name. Honestly he didn’t think that he’d ever stop smiling at the thought.

To be honest, Jacob wasn't sure if he was wanting to be at this party or not. However, he'd been friends with David for years, stretching back to when they were both in school on the quidditch team together. About the only rocky patch the two had was when Remy had been removed from the team and not allowed back on, but Jacob wasn't about to let that really affect his friendship. No, instead, he had to have the world's dumbest fathers, ever! Who in their right mind let criminals, dangerous criminals, out of prison? Heck, he didn't even have a good reason for people to assume he wasn't a nutcase. Which hey, they had every right to assume that. His brother's mental health was always a shaky subject, his brother's mum was just loony, and the only saving grace he had was that his mum had never been insane. Maybe a bit more forgiving and willing to accept the crazy his brother had brought, but never crazy. His dad had lucked out when he found her, and it was very obvious. He was already facing an inquiry at work as to whether he was involved in the breakout, and was sitting at desk duty while that was going on. That, and a psyche exam. Fun. Just what he wanted to do, talk to a complete stranger about his family's insanity and figuring out if he was prone to mental instability. He admitted to Jaslyn screaming at him over the whole thing. Though, he didn't blame her. Honestly, he wanted to scream about it too, but it wouldn't do any good. He doubted he could talk to his father and try and get him to see reason.
However, today wasn't about insane relatives or job problems. Instead, this was about David and Shayna getting married and starting a life together. He and Jaslyn hadn't talked about marriage, but that was because they really hadn't gotten to that point. Well, the talking. That, and he wasn't sure if Jaslyn wanted to get married. He did admit it was a nice wedding, and hoped for the best for David and Shayna. At least they didn't have to deal with drama like in his family. Which, he really needed to wish them a good life together. Whether David wanted to talk to him was another matter. Sighing, he ran his hand through his hair and walked forward, figuring he oughta get it out of the way. At least then he could slink off to some corner and hope no one took offence to him being there. "Um, hey David, Shayna. That was a beautiful wedding. I hope you have a lot of long years together. Pretty sure you both deserve it." There, nice and simple. He shoved his hands into his pockets and hoped that the rest of the night wasn't that bad.

Dani couldn't think of a better way to spend some time on her last Easter break than spend it watching a friend of hers getting married. She couldn't be happier for David and Shayna, they certainly deserved all the happiness in their lives as they possibly could get.
It certainly wasn't unexpected; they'd been a couple since before she came to Hogwarts, and were living in the same flat after they left school. David looked very dapper in his suitcoat, and Shayna made a beautiful bride, and the day couldn't have been better. It was also a scene she knew she'd see more of once she graduated from school: seeing her friends getting married off.
Attired in a long green dress, and a pair of matching high-heeled shoes, Dani certainly wouldn't be mistaken as being part of the wedding party, her long blonde hair was worn up for the occasion to make her look a bit older and more sophisticated.
Before she could succumb to the cycle of depressing thoughts about her own non-existent romantic life, Dani approached the receiving line. She hugged Shayna, and then, in turn, Dave. "I'm so happy for you two," she said, speaking honestly. Glancing over as she spotted Jacob, Dani added half-jokingly, "Looks like you've got the old team back together. Hope you're not planning to get up a match, cause I'm not flying a broom in this dress."

  Location: Snow Manor - My brother's wedding
Chloe was delighted for her brother and Shayna. The wedding was beautiful and being a bridesmaid was unexpected yet absolutely great. Both Chloe and Leonette were proud to be standing up there next to the former Ravenclaw. When the ceremony was over, both girls headed to the reception. They were quick to find David however not quick enough. He and Shayna were already surrounded by friends. That wasn’t about to stop Chloe thought.
Racing over and leaving Leonette in the dust she practically leapt at her brother and strangled him with a hug. “Congratulations!” She said squeezing him before stepping back. “Sorry for cutting, sister to the groom and now the bride.” Chloe said looking back to well… everyone…
Seeing who was there she knew Jacob was on the team with David. Who he brought with it only took her a moment to recall who she was. “Jaslyn?” Chloe asked although she was pretty sure it was her. “It’s Chloe Clarisse. We were in the same graduating year together.” She said with a smile. She honestly didn’t think she’d see anyone from her year after school. She hardly saw Newlyn after graduation which was depressing and only made her want to visit more.

Proud Mother of Two xxxxxx  Location: Snow Manor - My Cousin's wedding
Leonette absolutely loved the ceremony. Leaving baby Christopher with his father in his adorable little suit and tie, she couldn’t wait to get back to him. She could only wonder if David charmed their kid into complete silence because he never stopped crying. Not that he cried twenty four seven just that he seemed to like the sound of his own voice. Regardless she would kill to be back with her little man. Of course she imagined that everyone wanted to get their hands on the new baby in the family.
Before she could do that though, Leonette was stuck with Chloe who had abandoned her for her brother. Smiling she followed after her cousin to the group of people surrounding them. The moment she got there she overheard what Danica and Ronna said an even bigger smile growing on her face. “Oh my gosh, Ronna! You’re pregnant! Congratulations you’ll love motherhood. It’s great really. Well except when they learn crying gets them everything. Granted Christopher’s only going on six months old, so I can’t complain.” She said before realizing that she probably didn’t know. “Oh… you probably didn’t know I was even pregnant.” She said sheepishly.
“Anyways, I was just coming by to say congratulations to you two.” Leonette told David and Shayna before adding. “Though while we’re on the subject… When will you two be joining the parenting club?” She asked with a smirk. After all everyone knows that love comes first, then comes marriage, followed by the baby in the carriage.

Before David could even open his mouth Chloe was wrapped around him. “Chloe?” He questioned in shock. Usually she was the quiet one out of the two of them. However he supposed with the excitement of the whole event it was hard to be just that… quiet. “Thanks, Chloe.” He said with a smile before turning his attention back to everyone else.
As it seemed Jacob was now dating Jaslyn. If David recalled correctly she was a Slytherin in Chloe’s year. Made sense considering she recognized her. “Hey Jacob, Jaslyn. Thanks Jacob and thanks for coming.” He said knowing that both were having a pretty hard time. What with Jacob’s father breaking a bunch of mad killers out of Azkaban and all that. They did work together and word traveled fast in the office.
When Dani came over and commented on getting the team back David smiled. “Thanks Dani, for the most part, yeah I guess I did.” He said chuckling at Dani’s comment about starting up a game as Ronna came over. She commented on having to sit out because she was… pregnant! Cue Leo rushing over with happiness in her eye. If he didn’t know any better he swore she was about to cry. Shaking his head, David smiled at the three of them. "Thanks Ronna and congratulations to you too." He said shaking her hand with a bright smile. Before Leonette questioned him and Shayna about having children, which caused him to go red. “Leo… we haven’t even talked about that yet…” He said sheepishly as he looked over at Shayna. What was he supposed to say to that?

 "Some are born great, some achieve greatness..." Theo hadn't done much lately in terms of keeping up with people, drowning himself in his work just about everyday and staying up late nights at the Ministry. He worked as hard as he could and unfortunately, because of that, he hadn't been caught up with any of the people he knew from his school days. So, he was pleasantly surprised to find that he was invited to the Marriage of David Clarisse and Shayna. He hadn't seen the boy in quite some time, except a few passing glances and hellos if they happen to pass each other in the ministry, and he would love to see how they were doing. Many people he knew were there as well. His 'adoptive' sisters, or so they call it, Ronna and Danica. Then there was Jacob Drage, the Auror and Leonette.
He himself dressed in a tux he actually bought for the occasion, along with a bowtie. He figured he would try to look his best for the occasion. Before he started mingling however, he had taken his chance to go up to David, an old friend of his. He did catch what Leo had said to him. He shook his head a bit and chuckled. "Leonette, the man just got married, they have plenty of time to worry about that later," he said, taking this chance to say his greetings and congratulations. "Congratulations David. You too Shayna. It was a wonderful ceremony. I hope you two have a wonderful life together, like I'm sure you will have. I'll of course be seeing you around the Ministry David. Maybe one day we can catch up. I won't take anymore of your time. You've got a whole slew of guests to talk to. Thanks for inviting me." With that, he finished up what he had to say and looked back.
He had learned at this time that Ronna was pregnant, something that he hadn't been told about. He didn't know how he felt about it. Part of him thought she was a little young, but then again, look at Leonette. She had a child at a younger age than Ronna and they seem to be doing fine. All he wanted was her to be happy and maybe this made her happy. He strode over to them, a smile on his face. "Look at you two...beautiful as ever. It is nice to see you both," he said to the Danica and Ronna, also giving a friendly nod and hello to Toby. "And some have greatness thrust upon them"

Toby honestly felt as if the whole marriage thing was some train everyone was hopping on board at the same time as it left the station. Gypsy and Jer had just gotten married, Leo and David had gotten married two years ago now, Jess and Dori were getting married around this time next year, and he and Ronna were marrying this summer... Regardless, David and Shayna were one of those couples that seemed to have been dating since diapers, or at least since the age of eleven or twelve. He supposed it was surprising they hadn't gotten married even sooner.
He surveyed the rest of the guests gathered around to congratulate the newlyweds now that the reception had just begun. There was Jacob, whose whole family was getting suspicious looks after the Azkaban thing; Toby was not up on all the insider details the way Ronna's department was, but he had heard enough. And Jaslyn Ross, who he barely knew other than that she had been a Slytherin. Of course Dani was here, and David's sister Chloe, a former Hufflepuff, and Leo and David and their baby, a tiny boy. And Theo, who he managed a distracted nod back at while he looked at Ronna with concern.
That was something he'd been doing a lot lately, because part of Toby was convinced she was pushing herself way too hard for a pregnant twenty soon to be twenty one year old. At least she hadn't tried to wear heels; Toby knew she enjoyed being nearly as tall as him, but he'd have tried and failed to insist on her sitting down the whole if she'd tried. The baby wasn't due until mid September, and they still had a long while to go, but Toby was already a nervous wreck. He wanted to ask Ronna for the millionth time if she was alright, but restrained himself in order to say, "Congratulations, mates. It was a really nice ceremony." Then Leo was cooing over Ronna being pregnant and teasing her brother about when he was going to become a father. Everybody wants a flame, but-
They don’t want to get burnt.
And today is our turn.
