Roxanne shivered as she felt the powerful magic coating the book disperse slightly. She could still feel the magic in the air around them but it wasn't as focused as it once was. And she could see words on the pages now!
"Whoever wrote this has beautiful hand writing..." Roxanne commented, sliding the book back into Eric's hands as they continued to read beneath the moonlight.

Yawned loudly, Lilith tromped through the hallways of the temple back towards her room. After hours of prayer and combat training she was ready for some sleep. Dropping her kit and weapons by the door, Lilith slowly stripped down to her underwear and slipped into her favorite blue nightgown.
"I love you bed..." She muttered, falling face first into welcoming embrace of her queen size mattress.

"So you can see the book now? In that case, you hold onto it." He said as he handed it back to her. Eric then kissed her cheek. "Just read along with me. I believe it's Lilith's handwriting. It's too well done to be Lloyd's."

Lilith must had been really tired, or the the Blood Knight's coal colored armor made him inconspicuous at night. He had watched in silence as the Paladin undressed before his very eyes.
"I now know why you are called Lilith The Divine Body..." He muttered to her. It was a nickname known for less than pure reasons. Unlike most female knights, she retain a more common womanly figure, give or take looking a bit stronger.

"It would made sense for her to have really nice handwriting, I imagine a paladin is schooled from a young age and extremely well learned by time they reach adulthood." Roxanne replied.

Lilith's eyes snapped open as she heard the voice. Swiftly sitting up she armed herself with a dagger from beneath her pillow and looked around for the voice's source. Finding nothing in what she imagined to be typical hiding spots, she tip-toed towards the large bay window and its balcony.
Sure enough, searching the darkness outside the window she spotted an armored form crouched on the balcony, its coal color armor matching the outside stonework almost perfectly.
"Lloyd? Is that you?" She asked, thinking she recognized the voice.

Lloyd revealed his face to her. When he was actually cleaned up and not bloodied, he looked like a normal person. "Yeah, it's his ghost." He shook his head, people would believe anything. "This is where you reside? In one of Lumina's Temples?"

Fumbling with the latch, Lilith opened the large windowed door that separated the balcony from the rest of her room. "You look material to me..." She comments, stepping out onto the balcony to poke him in the shoulder, just to be sure he was still flesh and blood. "And of course, why seek lodging when a paladin is always welcome in the temples.""How long have you been out here?" She asked, shivering as the cool night breeze pierced the thin nightgown brushed across skin beneath.

"Long enough, Lilith. Like I said, I know why you are called The Divine Body. You're not like the other paladins underneath all that armor." He restated, wondering if by then she would get it. Lloyd then saw that she was cold and invited himself into her quarters. "I'm only a ghost in title. You supposedly killed me, remember?" He asked.

Glancing over to shoulder to make sure nobody noticed this interaction or her visitor, Lilith followed Lloyd back inside and closed the window-door behind her. "Yeah... I apologize about that. I tried to stifle Keith's enthusiastic but he has a loose tongue and news spread like wildfire once it got out." Lilith said, blushing slightly. "I knew it to be false but I could do nothing to kill the rumors."

"Except bring harm to those that are trying to kill you because of those rumors." He said in response. He knew the Paladin wouldn't outright kill a foe for such petty reasons. He held the latches that held his armor in place, wondering if he should really go through with this.
"Is a Paladin above giving aid to me?" He asked her. He had yet to heal his own wound specifically to ask her this question.

Lilith shrugs. "Assassins come and go all the time, none of them are a match for a paladin of the faith. Its too be expected when one is a reasonable rank but it also helps keep you on your toes." She replies, storing the dagger beneath her pillow again.
Unsure where he was going with this question, Lilith answered slowly at first. "And no... such aid would serve as penance for what I did on the battlefield. What is it you need? A solution to a moral delema perhaps?"

"Moral? Hah, I'd be here for weeks if I came to that." He removed his armor, followed by the chain mail. There were't just one wound but many, all of them. His abilities to heal himself was to literally cover and close the wounds shut with his own blood. "I'm wounded from our battle, Lilith. Can you heal me?" Asked Lloyd.

Lilith took a step back as Lloyd began to strip from his armor, but what surprised her was his question.
"That happen like a week ago, why haven't you healed yourself or at least gotten them bandaged?" She asked, walking slow circles around him as she, for the first time, got to see how much damage she'd actually inflicted on the blood knight.

Lloyd's eyes followed suit with her circling him to inspect the damage to his upper body. "It gave me a reason to search for you. I could not stop thinking about you, about what you said to me after our battle Can you do it or not?" Asked the Blood Knight to the Paladin. He would go about telling her of his motives once he got her answer.

"Of course I can do it..." Lilith returned, slowly approaching the blood knight from behind to take a closer look at some of the wounds that criss-crossed his back. Careful to avoid the bruised spots and open wounds, she casually ran her fingers across his broad shoulders.
"I'm just shocked you are still standing after letting yourself go this long without medical attention. A normal soldier with these wounds would have perished within a day or so..." She added, inspecting one of the deeper cuts on his back. The wounds appeared uninfected due the scab-like coating that covered them but she could see the covering was only a temporary and doing nothing to heal the wound beneath. Hows that happened? She thought.

"I usually use potions from magician I know well. When I can't reach her, I resort to manipulating my own blood to bandage the wounds." Explained the Blood Knight. He shifted slightly at touch of her fingers. It was possible for him to heal himself completely, but it wasn't practical, it took everything he had, including his time. Time was precious when there was always a battle around every corner.
"May I tell you a story, Lilith?"

"I don't see why not, these wounds will a bit of time to heal as I am tired from today's events." Lilith answered, retrieving a stool from the end of her bed and motioning for him to sit in it.
