Chester's cheeks flushed. "Well, this is... the first time we've met? I mean I've heard OF you, but... it's the first time I've actually seen you, in.... a golem." His response didn't really answer Armagnac's question, and he gave her a sheepish smile. "You know, Armagnac's a pretty name. How did you get-"
Jake got up, and plucked the dagger out of Chester's hands, tucking it back into his sash. "I hate to break up this happy couple, but you know, you HAVE been here quite a while, and a certain life trainee is probably currently bawling your eyes out. Since you're her weapon, shouldn't you be checking on her? And should your time expire before she can get you back into weapon form, I'm not going to help you there. All you're doing is setting herself up for more heartbreak." He flashed her an unsettling smile, and Chester only sighed. Jake, the home wrecker.

Armagnac stared at Chester. Attempting to win her over? Was he serious? She couldn't stop asking herself that question. She was shaking her head at him, trying to work up a worthy response. One of loathing that would clearly convey her feelings.
Jake jumped in before she could.
Armagnac's confusion and shock turned and bubbled into something resembling rage again. Right. This stupid weapon had left her hunter crying, and time was almost up. She wanted to hit things, break things. She wanted to tear them both into pieces and chew on their bones. She HATED Jake being right.
She glared. She balled her claws up into fists and her tail lashed back and forth in anger. Armagnac was not usually one to be the bigger person and walk away. Not at all. Time limits were the enemy now, too.
"You," she turned to Jake, "remember what you are. An undeserving, worthless pile of meat. I don't want you anywhere near my hunter. Despite what she thinks, she deserves better than you. And you," she growled, turning to Chester. "You." She didn't even know what to say. "Stay away from me."
She made a point of slamming the door as she left.

Jake only grinned, saluting at the retreating golem. "Aye aye ma'am, I am a dirty scumbag. Sherry is the queen of England. We mix like oil and water, I get it." Chester in the meanwhile was cowering behind Jake, nodding his head so hard that his head was starting to spin.
When the door closed, Jake only glared at Chester. "What. Did. You-" "I didn't do anything, I swear!" Jake frowned and crossed his arms, about to say something else, when he noticed something. "...Chester. Where's my coat?" "Ah, it's..." The nergal froze, staring at Jake wide-eyed. "...Oops."
Jake only groaned loudly, dragging a palm down his face. This day had been just SWELL.
