Lira couldn't help but smile a little even though she wanted to scream at him for trying to be humerous "you know, you are strange, was always warned about hanging out with strange Pae" she said, not meaning it to be serious even though the tone she used was actually a serious tone and then she sighed and took a deep breath, looking up and seeing the fallen tree was almost upon them "can we talk?" she asked softly, stopping at the tree once she had arrived and sat down and looked at him "it is important" she said, not really wanting to do it but if he kept going on and trying to make jokes she felt like she was going to scream at him so, instead, she would tell him what happened, it would be a lot nicer then screaming at him abd less rude as well.

"Maybe I should but I think that will have to wait" she said as she took a deep breath and slowly let it out "I am really only doing this because if I hear you trying to be funny I think I am just going to scream at you and in the end it wouldn't actually be your fault, it would be mine, but the way I am feeling well...it just would of reached a boiling point but not only that you are putting up with me, being kind and gracious that I think I owe it to you, at least, to explain what is wrong with me though this isn't really something I do." She said as she took one more deep breath before continuing "when i was a teenager I was basically making friends with this other Faun, she and i were getting along fine but once she saw that my best friends and 'family' were two wolves (siblings and orphans) named Tamaska (Tama) for the girl and Dakota for the boy and she basically let them get to know her so they would be alright around her.

One thing led to another and the closer we all got the more distant, in a way, she became and in the end but I just sort of shrugged it off..." she stopped as tears started to fall from her eyes and she looked down at the ground to try and calm herself as best as she could before carrying on "...in the end I went to get lunch for us, leaving her alone with one of the wolves and I came back early, having forgotten part of what she wanted and I saw her basically..." she stopped once more as she started to think of the scene in her mind and started to sob harder "and I saw one wolf with the other having run off somewhere and she was basically butchering it" she said as she pulled her knees up and buried her face into them.

For a while she stayed like that as the horrific scene played in her mind and after a while he tried to calm herself down again and looked straight out in front of her "the sibling, brother, of the one that died was too depressed to eat or drink anything so he passed away soon after due to the loss of his sibling, the only excuse she gave me was that wolves were what killed her mother so she felt every wolf deserved to die." She said as she started to sob again "I...I felt for her, truly I did, but my hate for her was greater, I didn't harm her or anything I basically just told her to get out of my life and to never let me see her again, not exactly sure what happened to her after that, I gave up caring, I shut myself away and then, after a while I came here and well, I just kept to myself, never made friends, didn't venture out, I basically have given up on befriending anyone or doing any thing, it just isn't worth being hurt again...I...I don't want to be hurt like that again" she said as she buried her face back down into her knees and cried continuously, just hugging her knees close to her chest as she can.

Lira dropped her knees and put her arms around him, crying into his shoulder for a good while before calming herself down and pulled away from him, looking down at the slight gap between them, studying a bit of bark that was coming off the tree she apologized "I'm sorry" she said softly "thank you so much for that" she said, taking a deep breath and letting it out as she dried what remained of her tears and just sat there, unsure what to say so she gave it a few moments then looked at him. not sure what to say but went with the only thing she could think of. "And that is why I don't make friends, it just isn't worth it" she said as she turned and sat face on to the road "it is easier to just stick to myself, one doesn't need to worry about heartache if one doesn't have anyone to cause it" she said as she noticed her flowers, almost all of them, had fallen to the ground and she started picking them up and placing them into her bag carefully.

Lira took a deep breath and looked into his eyes, wanting to believe him, wanting to trust him and yet she couldn't, she just....Lira sighed as she turned her head away from his gaze, the little voice inside her screaming at her to accept and yet she just couldn't "I am sorry, I just...I just can't..." she said as the little voice, if it could facepalm itself it would have, she ignored it because she just didn't feel right about it but then maybe... "maybe..." she said softly, looking back at him, wondering if that little voice was right, maybe it was time to trust again. Lira trusted Rais to be a fair and just leader right? She trusted the cook not to poison the food, but then they were Faun in charge...well, maybe not so much the cook but still he was important to an extent, Rais wouldn't just pick some random guy who didn't know how to cook right? He would want someone who knew their way around the kitchen, then there were the others in the Circle also, Second-In-Command, Mo, the Seer, Vanya was it? And the others so she took a deep breath and looked back at him and softly, yet a little uncertainly, gave him a little smile "against my better judgement the voice inside my head wants me to trust you, I can't really say why and I don't want to, as you know, but...but I will trust you" she said as she closed her eyes and winced a little at pain when she had said that allowed and saying that actually caused her, pain she believed was going to be coming, pain she knew she was stupid enough to accept, but no matter how many times she tried to tell herself that he might be fine, he might be trustworthy like Rais, she couldn't bring herself to fully believe it and so one barrier stayed up inside her even if the others had, to an extent, fallen down.

Lira smiled a little at the other and got up "thank you but all I ask..." She said softly "is for you to please not let me down, I don't want to end up hating you also" she said hoping, a little, that maybe she had finally found a friend and stood up "perhaps" she said as she offered him her hand to help him up "we could have something to eat?" She suggested, now that she felt a little better.

Lira smiled at the other, letting go of his hand once he had stood up, sadly though, she wished she could hold it again, it was a silly notion and a passing one at that, but after having been held by another Pae in a hug and now holding the others hand, it had been a long time since she had that contact, Lady Artemis was the last one who gave her that kind of contact and once upon a time, from that Pae, she even got a hug or two from her but that was a very long time ago and since then she hadn't had any contact with another Pae besides small greetings every so often when she ventured out of her room, having this Pae just hug her and hold her hand, she couldn't deny feel warm inside but she pushed those feelings away for the time being and smiled at him. "Then how about if we head back?" She asked softly "to the wild flowers I mean, it would be more fun to eat them there then outside the tree where Faun come and go and it is a beautiful day to be stuck inside and I would rather get to know you a little better away from prying eyes and eves droppers, not that it is any secret but I just would rather it be you and I then the rest of the tree, that is, if you don't mind spending a little more time alone with me" she said, knowing this sounds a little creepy considering they did basically just meet but how are friends meant to get to know each other if they didn't talk? Besides, after the hurdle they just climbed over she just felt a little braver to be outside a little longer and to not go back quite as fast to that room of hers, especially when she was starting to like the company she was now keeping.

Lira followed the other back "just don't get used to them, I don't have good ideas often, their a bit of a rarity" she admitted, half joking/half serious, look at her last idea, she was stuck alone in her room, true, she had a reason, but still, even if she did just want to go back to her room now, she had to even admit to herself that it wasn't...isn't a very good idea, not if the green Faun beside her was anything to go by but then he was just one she promised to trust besides the circle members, she still had a ways to go if she was to trust any other Faun at this present time. Lira took a deep breath and let it out, smiling at the other a little more then usual "I don't know what to tell you about myself, you know what I am usually like but other then that I don't really think there is much more to say, I am a pretty basic and boring sort of girl but you, I am sure you are much more interesting" she said, taking side ways glances as his arm once or twice before shaking the notion of putting her arm through it, it was invading his personal space, it would be rude and awkward and being some what clingy wasn't right and they were not even dating or anything, it would be wrong on many levels and yet, as she looked back to the front, ignoring wanting the others touch again, it was something she was going to have to do without, at least for the time being, though she couldn't deny, once she had that feeling of being touched it was a nice feeling to want again, she had pushed that feeling away and locked it up in her mind, telling herself she didn't need it or want it but after getting it back again, if only for a few moments, she wanted more but even she knew it wasn't the right time.
