The Joker
Location: Gotham Streets
Status: Get your motor running... Head out on the highway... "Sounds like a plan, my dear," the clown said, his happiness clearly visible in his toothy smile as he sat down in the driver's seat. He lowered the sun visor in front of himself, and the keys fell into his free hand.
Chuckling slightly to himself, he started the car. "Don't bother looking for seat belts. This car came out before they were invented." Despite this, there had been some modernization done to the vintage Silver Wraith, as evidenced with a small switch panel installed below the car radio. The clown reached for the one closest to himself and flipped it, causing a garage-type door to open. Once the door was open enough to accommodate the vehicle, he started driving out of the building.

Location: With Joker, in his Silver Wraith; heading through Gotham..
Status: Getting ready to enjoy a little ride... .........”I tend not to wear them unless I know there's going to be a high speed chase or anything.” Gossamer replied with a small smile. Her eyes gently roamed about the interior of the vehicle as they moved out of the building, then shifted back towards the Joker. ”Come to think of it... it's been quite some time since I was last in any sort of motorized transportation that went faster than seventy.” she admitted. /// Sorry about lack of activity. Busy week + toothache turned into an abscess + no dentists open until Monday + … well you get the idea. No possible way I was able to sit out in the parking lot for wifi. -___- '''' ///

Status: Looking for adventure... Whatever comes our way... "You wear them in high-speed chases?" the clown asked as he turned onto the street, "That's the best time to NOT wear them! Much more fun that way, plus you don't get tangled while trying to shoot police officers and other small children."
The Joker pointed to the building Gossamer had indicated earlier as he drove and asked, "That's it, yes?"

Location: With Joker, driving into New York..
Status: Momentarily unnerved... then back on track... .........Gossamer tensed slightly when Joker said the bit about shooting at small children, but that's all she allowed herself as far as a reaction went. One, she'd never heard of anyone openly suggest shooting children before. Two... well she had a thing about not hurting kids. Gossamer's gaze shifted towards the skyline once he pointed towards the window. She smiled slightly as she looked at the tall jet black skyscraper peeking out with a number of the other New York towers. ”Yep. That's it. Jet black tower with the fancy architecture around the top of it. Hard to miss once you know what it is.” she replied.

[Enter TANYA ROGERS] The flash of light was the first thing she saw, followed by the rapidly-approaching roof of a multiple-story building. She instinctively moved her body a bit, tucking her small frame into a ball in order to roll with the landing, hitting the roof with a slight "Oomph!"
Recovering quickly, Tanya Rogers, dressed in the purple-and-black costume that greatly resembled that of her mother, the original Diamondback, stood up and brushed her long blonde hair from her eyes and looked around, her blue eyes curiously looking about the city around her from behind the black domino mask she wore, and she knew immediately that she was not in New York anymore. That immediately set alarms off in her head, as the last thing she remembered was roof-hopping in Manhattan's lower-level buildings, and the area around her now seemed... almost Gothic, in the classical sense.
"Daddy?" she asked, pressing two fingers to the earpiece in her left ear... but there was nothing but static, and an odd feeling welled up in the fourteen-year-old's chest. Something she couldn't quite place.

The roar of an engine echoed down nearby alleyways as a caped, red-helmeted motorcyclist made his way into the city. After several more failed attempts at contacting any of his team, Robin slowed so he could check his hand-held communicator.... there had to be some riled news coverage for what was going on.

Tanya spent several minutes pondering her position; turning around at one point, she could see the familiar skyline of New York some miles away from her... but apparently, this new city, whatever it was, was conjoined to it. Automatically, she knew something was very, very, very wrong with the situation, and she began to roof-hop, trying to get a better look at her surroundings; and what roofs she couldn't hop to, she had a small grapple-gun at her waist to help reach.
After several minutes, she moved into the vision of Robin as he rode through the streets, but as she was not facing him, she didn't take any notice of him; he, however, would likely mistake her for a certain blonde-haired, purple-wearing vigilante that he knew very well; either that, or he might see her as a new potential ally... or perhaps enemy.((Haaaaaaai~))

After a stop and a check on his comm, Tim did in fact see many articles on current confusions........ however, a familiar 'whipp', 'clink' and faint crumble of concrete drew his attention up to the rooftops around him. That was definitely the sound of a dispelled grapnel hook hitting the side of a building, and only a select number of people in Gotham knew how to use those much less have them at hand. All he could make from where he stood at street level was the vague color and shape of the figure above-- female, adolescent, blonde hair, 'purple' (or, what Tim was currently thinking, 'eggplant'.... ) This was enough info for Robin to leave his bike in an alleyway and head up to the rooftops, using his own grapnel to make it quick.
So Steph had been in close proximity? That had to mean transmissions were down... or she didn't have her comm with her.

Like Tim, Tanya too heard the familiar sound of a grapnel being fired, though due to her sense of hearing, which, like everything else about her physiology, was naturally heightened to peak human levels, she heard his at a further distance than he would have heard her's. Assuming, correctly, that she was being followed, Tanya made an impressive leap toward another rooftop; one that, ordinarily, someone of her and Tim's sizes wouldn't be capable of making, and was the sort that only the likes of the Batman could do. This would be the first clue that Tim's assumption of her identity was wrong.
Once she landed and got far enough away from him to land as well, she wheeled around, showing her costume ((which, if you were to look it up, Jackie, would look like this)), and getting into a defensive combat stance; one that seemed to belong to kickboxing, but with her knees bent a bit to as to lower her height.
"I dunno who you are... But following me isn't the best idea," she said, her voice even; and Tim would be able to tell that Tanya was close to his own age though this as well as her youthful appearance.

By the time Tim reached the rooftop, he was quick to note that this was most certainly not Steph. Not only that, but Robin was shocked to discover that he didn't know this girl at all. She was younger than the Spoiler (right around his own age, he estimated) and her costume and her face didn't ring any bells...... as a first movement, he held his hands up to the level of his shoulders, keeping them raised as a sign of non-hostility.
"Sorry, sorry. .... I thought you were someone else."

Tanya's eyes narrowed a little behind her domino mask, and she didn't relax her stance totally.
"... Question: Do you have any idea where we are right now? Because I sure as heck don't; last thing I remember, I was roof-hopping in Manhattan," she said. "By the way, I'm Diamondback. Like the snake. Not that that matters to you, I guess. I dunno, something about you makes me think you're more of a 'fuzzy-cuddly-animal motif' kinda guy." she continued, and her tone was a bit deadpan there.((Also, is it okay if Praxius joins in later?))

Robin paused, and blinked..... he lowered his hands so they moved down under his cape which folded back in front of him so the yellow of it was hidden in black along with most of his form. He was practically immune to the kind of vibes she was giving him- skeptical, hostile, and intimidating vibes. (Tim got enough of THAT from his partner.) Oh yes, he was 'skeptical' of her too. He'd never heard of "Diamondback". But he just did a better job at hiding it.
"You're in Gotham. You know, "Home of the Batman". Though, if you're going to ask me why New York-"
He quickly nodded toward the city in the distance.
"-is suddenly off shore, then I can't help you.... I'm trying to figure that out myself."

Tanya tensed up yet again, though her hands slowly moved down... and unbeknownst to Tim, were gradually moving toward the utility belt she wore, which had multiple diamond-shaped protrusions which were actually projectiles.
"... 'Gotham'?" she asked, and her voice sounded confused. "I... have never heard of that city in my life. I do know New York had 'Gotham' as a nickname once. Never heard of 'Batman' either. Anyway... Am I gonna have to fight you, or what? For all I know, this person you were looking for is like, your arch-enemy that you were gonna try to attack or something."

............ Okay, there were several things that caught Robin up. First of all-

With Tim's brief loss of composure, and his shock at her not knowing about Gotham, Tanya blinked and relaxed her stance, standing up straight.
"... Uh... because it's not one of America's biggest cities? If it was, I'd know about it, since my partner is the leader of the Avengers and occasionally goes outside of New York City to deal with stuff."
Then she paused for a beat, and said: "... You have heard of my partner, right? Captain America? Probably the single most famous superhero... like, ever?" By the way she said that, it likely wasn't hyperbole on her part.
