A strong hand would catch Owle's arm, dragging the girl back to her feet. Flare wrapped her arms around Owle more strongly, supporting her. Owle was limp as a rag doll against her form.
The demon could feel the waves upon waves of nausea and shock emanating from the girl, but she fought them back. They were not her feelings...she would not be drowned in them. Fire met the tide of dark emotion, forcing it back as Flare strove to send waves of comfort into Owle. No, she couldn't tell the girl it would be alright. But she could be there, dammit all.

Conrad was strangely cheerful as he beheld this spectacle. With a hand holding up his drink which had been refilled only seconds before he chuckled slightly. It could have been his sick sense of humor or perhaps he was just drunk. Either seemed equally possible.
Or did he have some greater understanding that the rest of them did not possess? The small sound of him burping into his hand - which moved to cover his face quickly - dispelled that possibility effeciently to the casual onlooker.
His compatriots did not have the same cool. Hector immediately stood tall with a stance beside the chair - arms crossed over his broad chest like some style of bouncer. Put simply - its a look he pulled off well. Claudia was just content to eye the events over the rim of her wire-thin glasses with a look of 'What the hell?'

And Owle clung to Flare in a storm, unseeing, having eyes for nothing but Rafe. Watching him, her pupils wide.

Gamma didn't understand what the fuss was. Some woman next to a familiar looking greenhaired man fainted. This was nothing new to Gamma. In fact, he'd wish to repeat the process with that smug fat ******** on the lawn chair.
It'd be nice to hear some answers, soon.

For a moment, Alex could only stare. Most could not imagine the horror... the rage... the flood of emotions that exploded within Alex in the moment when Rafe plunged that knife into Sejai. Sejai had been Alexiel's first human friend. She had taught the girl to speak Gaian. The girl had lived with her.
On the outside, Alex appeared as calm as ever, in fact, too calm. The girl seemed almost emotionless, as she had suddenly became an expressionless stone statue. The only clue to the demons raging within her would be the nervous twitcing of her avian companion as he took flight. He didn't want to be around for what would happen next.
Alexiel calmly dropped her saddle bags, they carried nothing that was extremely important and would only slow her down and hinder her. The backpack remained on her back.
With the calmest of gaits Alex stalked towards Rafe, eyes on the ground, her fists clenching at her sides. Her breath came heavy as she ner nails pressed into her skin, drawing the slightest bit of blood. By the time she reached Rafe, a fine tremble would be running through her body as she tried not to explode.
Alex looked up at Rafe and there were tears in her eyes. No time for explainations. And no use of her powers. This time it was personal and physical. Alexiel's right fist came up with as much physical strength as she could muster and it went straight at Rafe's jaw.

And he took it, his head flying back with the impact. For all his powers, he knew he deserved this and he took it. He then looked up at Alexiel, but there was no emotion in his eyes even though tears still ran down his tanned face. He then looked down at Sejai.
"My child..."

If Owle could have been shocked by anything, she might have been shocked at the punch. Now, though, she was just...numb.
Why?

Gamma chuckled openly. The slow rolling laugh came through the speakers of his suit with the echo of a gradual mechanical clucking; the computer laughing with him. If things went right they'd be killing each other and making this part not only entertaining, but easier.

Answering his brothers laugh he watched on amused at what was happening before him. In a war of attrition with so many it was best to let the others wear themselves down before showing your own hand. "Standard operating procedure?"

He had no choice, Flare answered, though the girl wasn't talking to her. She still held Owle, as if she could keep her safe. She could keep Owle on her feet; that was all.
Rafe might have had a choice. But if he did, this was the best he could take. That sort of pain was not easy to pretend.

Allen's stolen bike slowed as it approached the temple, finally stopping in front of the structure. Allen soon was off of the bike, the glowing sword in one hand, and a cheeseburger already being lifted to his face with the other. A few quick bites, as he moved to wherever the others were, and the first was gone, allowing him to swallow and speak as he came up by Flare.
"So, you got one too? What's going on?"

Regarding the enormous structure behind him, he replied; "Might need to get inside first. I don't see a door and I have no breeching charges."
Still watching, totally motionless. The single lense captured everything well enough for Gamma to simply stand back and enjoy. Enjoy he did, smiling in a fashion to suit that twist of grin on his facemask. "We may be mistaken. Only one has moved. Was this expected of them?"
Edit: I'm not too sure of everyone's positioning, but my guess is a couple would be punted... Five feet is a fair distance.

And Alex choked down the rest of her rage. The game was not over and she would need that emotion. If was Sejai was dead, she would not let the child's death be in vain. Besides, there was no need to kill anyone... yet...
The fine tremble left her body and she wiped away the tears before pulling off her black trench and holding it out to Rafe. Call it mother's instinct, grief, denial, whatever you wanted, but Alex couldn't bare to see the blood stained clothing and she couldn't bare to think that the girl might be cold in death. It was a foolish thought, but it was there none the less.
"Cover her... please..." Alexiel's voice was tender, soft as she stared at the lifeless body, offering up the jacket.

And his amusement dropped so rapidly it was almost audioable. The blue lens falred up as it focused and recorded what was happening. "I would not know, but it is at least a surprise for these people." Glancing around he looked at the structure and the people gathered. "Well I may be able to put a hole in it, I don't know with the way things have been working around here."

Conrad's gaze flittered off as events died down. A quick sweep over the people present with his beady brown eyes. His gaze lingered almost noticeably on Allen as he bit into that cheeseburger before moving on.
How long had it been since he had eaten anyway? Quick 'snap snap' of his fingers and Claudia moved forward - took his order - and got busy with her cell. The possibility of getting delivery out here was slim to none. Not really all that annoying when he could just send her to pick it up later.
Instead he finally threw the drink over his shoulder where it impacted with the side of the Temple - not on anyone - and stood. His girth became more apparent as he tugged on his black purple pinstripe jacket. Were they about to begin or had he risen too early?
Elevar's OOC Conrad is basically right in front of the Temple 'Entrance' - back to it. Center of temple basically. Hector standing to his left and about a foot back - Claudia sitting like two feet back on her legs.
