((A giant cat is playing with a huge ball of yarn that's floating in the lake. N_I's Gammu is flying in the air, shooting rockets and whatnot down at it. A giant tidal wave caused by the cat forced opaj to cut through part of the wave to protect himself, Gregory to cast a wall spell to protect himself, and Gamma to... duck to protect himself. And Gamma is pretending to be an officer, telling opaj and Greg to go home.))

"There's a giant cat..." Kit murmered, His eye twitched invoulintarily, he hated cats. The kitsune reached for his two guns and pulled them out, heck, when this day was finally calming down, it just pops right up again!
That's when he saw the various rockets and tidal waves going down on it.
"Aww... I wanted to have some fun!" He yelled, his anguish evident.

With a pained sigh, opaj let his blade touch the earth as water from the wave flowed past his feet.
"Military or not, we're here to stay," opaj said resolutely, letting not a hint of hostility enter his voice. "You could probably use some help against an enemy like that, anyway."
He didn't trust the heavily-suited specialist half as far as he could through him, which wasn't very far at all. If it weren't for opaj's utter curiosity about the cat, he would have simply wandered off on Gamma's suggestion, just to avoid getting into a fight.
[Edit 2: For some reason, I thought Fen made his post before me... sweatdrop ]

((Not rockets, just SABOTs. What is fired is a thin piece of metal that is made to puncture a whole lot of armor. Like tanks.))
Gamma turned to watch the cat overtake Gammu. This could be bad. "I have to ask you not to intervene!"
No longer interested in talking, Gamma started back for his partner.

(( sweatdrop A tad bit late in the game here, hope this isn't a problem.))
Angel had followed opaj from the Marketplace, though she was a ways behind. He must really be angry with me. Her fingers ran through her hair as she sighed.
Her ears twitched with the sounds of something flying through the air. It was then she noticed a huge tidal wave, yet saw opaj nowhere in sight.
"opaj!" She ran towards the lake, watching the wave subside and then she saw him, letting out a sigh of relief.

And the cat missed, but not before a paw went out and swiped at the 'fly'. sending it flying away from itselfas it landed on the ground with a thump. Remeber how much the earht moved when it was just walking...it was now dead weight. You guessed it guys...you're going flying. XP

((Alright, back. Anyways, yes, Opaj, I would've finished making my wall if only because my character loses track of his surroudings as he focuses on casting.))
Gregory watched the exchange between Opaj and the supposed Gaian Military soldier. He realized that Opaj didn't trust the man any more than Gregory did. He had to fight back a smile once again. Taking Opaj's lead, he lowered his shield in a non-threatening manner, intent on avoiding a confrontation if possible. Thankfully, the man seemed to have bigger issues on his mind as he turned back towards his partner who seemed to be having a bit of trouble.
He turned to once again try to ask Opaj what was going on when another person's voice chimed in. This time it was a girl. He turned towards the newcomer just in time to get rocked violently back up into the air. There was no way he could cast anything like this, since it required a measure of calm and he at least needed to be able to stand still to do so. Relying on the wind enchantment he had placed upon himself earlier, he flipped in the air and landed shakily on his feet yet again, this time dropping to one knee as he hit the ground.

Gamma hit the ground, again, and tried a breakfall. From running he fell forward and shot out both arms stiff at the joint to try and bounce himself up.
It worked, then the ground shook ******** me! I hate animals." Gamma said to himself in his own language. Maybe it did, too. Volume raised, computer ready, and Gamma screamed.
A scream that, as best to the computer's ability, sounded like a small animal. The screech made Gamma's face numb from the vibration on his mask, and slowed him as he stood once more.

((Isn't trying to kill a giant cat with that a little drastic?))
Ahh heck, hurting this thing isn't gonna hurt him. Kit reasoned, it's being hit with just about everything, and it's not keeling over anytime soon... He holstered one of his guns and pointed his right hand one at the cat, he aimed for nowhere in particular, it was big, most likely won't do anything, but hey, you never know...
((Ahh heck, why not? 1- Upper part (Head, etc.) 2- Middle part (The rest of the body) 3- Lower part (Legs and knees and whatever) 4- Tail (Which might cause something really bad to happen. *Shrug*)))
Edit: Soon as that cat hit the ground, Kit fell on the ground face first, he heard a splat. Oh gods, that was a frog. He wiped off the guts from his face and watched as the cat wrecked more havoc.

Spinning his head rung for a moment before conditioning kicked in and the automated systems righted his course. Now some distance but still in range he saw the cat facing away from him as the local area shuddered. "Damn, need to put an end to this." Firing off a series of sabot rounds the air was shattered with the whistling crack of three rounds fired in rapid succession, aiming for the main body.

"Angel-" This was all opaj could say before he went flying, the shockwave from the fallen kitteh sending him high into the air. He saw the cat fall, and new that he would most likely have a solid landing.
He tossed his katana straight down below him, and it slid needly half-way into the ground. The water, still draining back into the lake from the wave, shot away from the weapon, giving opaj a semi-dry patch to land on.
"HURG!" opaj gracefully landed in a crouch. The cuts that his bandages hit burned.
Pulling his katana free, he looked back at Gregory and Angelbell. "I think that the cat might be important, somehow."

Angel wasn't far off from opaj when she saw the cat hit the ground then felt the aftershock, sending her flying backwards from the lake.
"Ow," she mumbled, feeling a twinge in her back from hitting the ground. Pushing up, so that she was in a sitting position, she shook her head.
"I wasn't prepared for that," she said, looking in opaj's direction and seeing that he was alright. It was then she noticed a man not far from opaj and wondered who he was.

((Maybe it's just me, but "HURG!" doesn't strike me as the most graceful of noises. ^.^))
Gregory stayed down, waiting for the ground to calm. He knew he could cause some damage once things stopped moving enough for him to cast. Then again, he wasn't sure if that was going to happen anytime soon, at least not for the sheer length of time it would take to conjure anything that would hurt this monstrosity.
"Really? I just figured it was a big kitty and some string. Happens aaalll the time, right?"
