He was a raven, who wanted a shiney and not only that, the guy was bleeding. Ravens are scavengers. Did he honestly think the bird was going to go away? The bird hopped back a bit, still watching the man. "Ka-kaw. Ka-kaw." <-- More bird sounds

Irzael watched as the man in black flew down from the clouds. I wonder what happened to him. A raven and the demon he had met at the bar soon followed after him. This may be promising.
Irzael walked over to the group, acknowledged the demoness, and asked the man with bloody wings, "What happened to you?"

"Hello again, stranger," Flare greeted the man she had met at the bar. "Seems you're just in time to help us out of a pickle." Her left hand was on the hilt of her rapier. Her right hand was beginning to glow. "Is that bird yours?"

And then, the raven would have had the point of a black katana blade right in it's face, as the air around Allen's sword hand shimmered and the blade materialized in his hand. And then he took a quick, simple swing, that would dlice the bird in half if it didn't move.
"I said shoo, you damned bird."
And then, of course, there was Flare. Who he didn't trust completely. But, it seemed, he had no real choice here. It was trust her or bleed.
"Yeah, I can walk. Slowly, but I can walk. I shouldn't have done so much flying with my wings still healing."

Daemon glanced around at the new people. This was certainly more humans than he had expected. "Ka-kaw" <-- One last bird sound. And with a flutter of wings, Dae was up in the air and making a wide circle around the group as he moved up.

Irzael glanced at the demoness, "No, my bird is much, much bigger than that scrawny crow." He looked again at the man with bleeding wings and then back to the silver-haired woman, "And where I come from it isn't very nice to greet someone with your hand at your blade."
He chuckled slightly to himself, "No matter, though. What is this 'pickle' that you're in?"

"The bird was bothering me," Flare shrugged. "That was all. And I've just gotten away from a flame-throwing maniac..." She pointed in the direction of the marketplace. "Over that way. He's fighting some people over those petals you're after, and me and my friend here got caught in the crossfire."
"I'll support you if need be," she said to Allen. "Least I can do, as its my fault you're in this mess."

"...and where would we be going, Flare? Preferably someplace without lunatics throwing black flames around?"
And simply by the fact that he hadn't argued, he showed he was willing to be supported if he needed to be. After all, he had to trust someone. And even if he didn't completely trust Flare, she was all he had for the moment. So she'd have to do.

Daemon circled lazily above the group. How was he going to get that gold shiney with the other two around? Blink. "Caw." <-- I lied, more bird speak, which when translated means, "Poo."

"Indeed," Irzael replied as he glanced at the circling bird, "I can see how that could get annoying." So somebody's causing chaos at the marketplace...I may have to check it out....
He stared at the two and began to wonder, "So...have either of you found any leads on the petals?"

"None whatever," Flare answered. "Like I said, I haven't been searching. Just want some peace and quiet around here...bad enough those penguins are throwing fish at each other and people are setting things on fire left and right. Can't even have a decent time at the Marketplace without people attacking other people all around your head..."
"Gambling district, I think," she answered Allen. Hopefully no one will be shooting at us there."
She kept beside him, ready to catch him should he stumble.

Nodding some, he unsummoned his katana so he wouldn't have the extra weight and began moving. As fast as he could, considering the pain of movement, towards the gambling district.

And Dae followed after them. He wasn't in a hurry to get the shiney.

Irzael sighed, "Well I guess you aren't my enemy yet if you don't have any petals...." He shrugged and walked off towards the marketplace, "I guess I'll just have to see what's going on there."

Both his hands were stuffed into the pockets of his jeans, sand being kicked up idly as he moved forward, stepping back onto the Boardwalk.
His sword long since placed back into it's sheath which hung just below where his jacket ended; suspended on lengths of chain connected to the shoulders of his jacket.
He continued staring down at the ground as he moved along, heading back towards the residential section.
He'd lost enough for today...
