[Open Discussion]Tuck had been quiet, listening to the others speak. He didn't feel as if he had much to offer to the conversation, really. He was still fresh from the pod for all intents and purposes, and it was becoming more and more clear just how crazy everything was on the island. It was pretty ******** crazy. " It probably isn't of much help, but I did notice some glass pieces on the table - not from the window, though. Maybe some kind of drinking glass? It almost felt like whoever was in that room wasn't really expecting what happened to happen." Tuck shrugged. "At least, that's what I thought. Then again, I guess most people really aren't expecting to get mowed down like they did."

Open discussionWell that explained what happened with Bix and Ceres more or less. Though.. there were still a lot of unanswered questions. Deryk also couldn't help but shudder at the description Otto gave upon finding the crime scene. That had to be pretty horrific. There was also mention of it possibly being one of their weapons. "... Can the new weapon golems even fight? Golems.. usually pretty useless for combat.." he pointed out with a murmur.

"I didn't see the box. But there was a lot of hiding places for things in the room. The grate, your box...A table with a locking mechanism maybe? If we had further time to study the table, I'd have a little more to offer but..." Dakota shrugged and tried to go over what else was known.
"If the council man were LONG DEAD, Then timelining it to the haunted house would almost seem improbable. From what Otto said, They had been left there. What's to say someone left the haunted house, killed the council, came back and resumed duties?"

"I also don't know if it's got any relevance," Harrison said, "but we keep going on about like, exoneration because of weapon type. But hell. Circe's gotten loaned out on a number of occasions. Not saying that it was Circe in this particular instance. Uh. Sir."

Open discussionDeryk nodded to Solia. That nixed out any possibility that it was one of their weapons going on a rampage then. Fidgeting a little in his seat, he glanced to Rep as he pointed out that Lance was the one who ran surveillance around here. That... was a point. He found his gaze drifting over towards the man in the wheelchair. Well, he was a suspect, but given his experiences with H and Simon during the interview process, he was more leery of those two. Far more leery. They scared him. In any case, he looked over at Dakota as he poked at the fact that they were apparently long dead before they were found. "Don't suppose there's been proper autopsy on the bodies? If.. so.. would help figure out stuff. More or less exact time of death. Um.. exactly how they were killed... that sorta thing."

After the drawing of Marks face, Dakota slinked back to his seat and looked at Solia, Smiling at her.
"Hey there cutie." Shameless wink, and then to answer her question. "As far as I remember about the portals, Allan was the one who contacted the labs and had them hardcore working on the portals to get them up. But when Caelius was uh...curbstomped....Red, the creature was the one who opened the portal and sent us back to the island. That was with our numbers being decimated, and without much else to do but run with our tail between our legs." Dakota glanced at Caelius now and wondered, Was the death hunter bitter over that? Sacrificing himself....How had he gotten back was the question?
Did he offer Red the council in return for him to be returned alive?

Opening dialogue: The Death lead is still, as usual, poring over several mission reports. An old manuscript seems to have joined his pile, with a picture of some sort of chalice on it. He doesn't bother answering your prompt. Why is he even here?!
Where were they on the night of the death (October 25 - 31st): IF YOU WERE AT THE HAUNTED HOUSE AT THAT TIME:
Caelius's pencil snaps. He pulls a second one and continues working on a complicated-looking map covered in runes.

The Death lead's pencil snaps. On the complicated-looking map that he's working on you see him write in tiny text a name that oddly looks like yours.
What were they doing on the night of the death: (October 25 - 31st): He looks up for a second. Is he going to kill you finally and put you out of your misery? Is he going to threaten you? Is this another lecture? "If you were paying any attention," Oh, it was lecture time, all right then, "You would have put two and ******** two together regarding the whole situation. I am sure I am just asking too much, with my request, as per usual. Truth does not equal power. Even if you, through some godforsaken act of miracle from Excalibur itself managed to figure out exactly what this situation entailed, your are still powerless to control or stop the incident from playing exactly as it should have."
What were their relationships to the Council: "I am a part of the Council."
What is their weapon/ what does it use: The Death lead gives you one of his more incredulous looks. You have the distinct feeling he is wondering if you are mentally challenged beyond salvation.

Mark heard a pencil snap and woke up! He looks around attentively, reaching for an invisible beer bottle before realizing where he is and slumping his head back down on the desk, dejected (he seems to not notice the sharpie doodles of penises on his face).

Gale had tried not to think about the whole Bix and Ceres situation because thinking about it just made him frustrated and upset, neither of which was a good emotion to have right at the current moment. He rested one elbow on the table and laid his head against his hand, idly tapping his other fingers against his leg.
Resisting the very great urge to roll his eyes, Gale said calmly, "I would have to agree with Rep, actually." His eyes narrowed slightly. "On one front, at least - that there was some tinkering with the videos and the surveillance footage. Decomposition of a body takes time - not to mention a dead body would stink. There were multiple bodies within that room, which means the smell would have been twice as bad. If the bodies were there for an extended period of time, it would mean that, coincidentally, no one noticed the absolute rancid smell of rotting flesh."
He flicked his gaze towards Deryk, then back to Solia, frowning a little. "If there was an autopsy, I don't think anyone has seen it, which also seems a little odd."
And, as usual, Caelius was somewhat less than helpful.
