"You can try if you like." Elora smiled warmly and pushed herself up out of the bath, she faltered once but managed to keep her balance, wrapping the towel around her she breathed deeply. "Can you help me out?"

It was getting on towards evening and Ai was happily cooking dinner for them all. Even though she knew Elora didn't need the food, she didn't want to leave her out. She had really enjoyed getting to know the older woman and helping her get polished up. She had been pretty before, she looked amazing now. She couldn't wait till Cyrus came home and saw her. She wasn't sure why, though perhaps it was because Elora was so excited for it, she thought as she touched the clockwork rose hanging from her neck.
Cyrus was tired. He had done a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. He figured as long as he was searching for remnants of the past he might as well try sorting out his lord's city as best he could singlehandedly. Running his fingers through his hair, he stepped into the home he shared with Elora and now Aisha. He would need to do something about their living status, he thought as he looked around. It would do no good if there were another earthquake. The whole building would come down. Breathing in the warm scents of food, he followed it to where they had carved out a living space and blinked when he saw the vision by the window where he had left her that morning.
"Ellie?"

Elora smiled as she heard Cyrus' heavy footsteps in the hallway as he came round the corner. She hoped he would like her transformation, something close to what she had been.
"What do you think?" She asked with a smile. "Aisha found some of my things and helped me. I was getting bored of that tatty dressing gown."

Cyrus couldn't help the appreciative sweep of his eyes over her body. She looked just as he had remembered her all those many, many years ago.
"You look... beautiful," he declared, his lips curling in a small smile as he stepped further into the room. "Just like how you were before."

Of course she noticed the sweep of his eyes over her, that had been the goal of her dress up. She wanted him to see her as she had always been.
"Thank you. Come and sit with me" she said softly, holding her hand out to him. "I feel more like I did. I feel like me again. "

Cyrus smiled and moved to take her hand and sit beside her.
"You look more yourself than I could have ever hoped to achieve," he smirked as he looked her over more closely. She looked fresh and more alive. She looked simply lovely. "Have you come to peace with the fact that Aisha has joined us?"

Elora reached for his hand and smiled warmly.
"Yes, she is a nice girl and she knows how to do things. She did my hair and helped me dress. I think she is a little scared of me, of what I am, but I told her I am not all that different really."

Cyrus smiled at her reply and squeezed her hand gently.
"You can't help the ignorance of some, but you can win them over. And if anyone is going to win anyone over, it will be you," he smirked a bit. "I am glad you have accepted her. I worried about you while I was off doing what needs to be done. You are not meant to be alone."

Elora laughed a little and looked up into his eyes.
"I am not meant to be alone?" She asked with a smile. "You think I cannot handle myself. Funny as you are the one who keeps leaving me alone. i should do more to keep you here."

Cyrus smirked and looked down at her small hand in his.
"You could handle yourself if you were as you should be. I remember how social you were though. You thrived on the connections you made with others around you," he replied and looked up into her eyes. "And I don't mean to leave you alone. I have been working on something."

"Oh, what have you been working on?" She asked, feeling a little wave of excitement. Her day consisted of sitting around, waiting and watching. This was a secret, something interesting perhaps?

Cyrus smirked and shook his head.
"You will have to wait to find out. It is a present for you," he smirked mysteriously and looked up when he heard movement by the door.
Aisha paused at the entrance when she saw the pair in what it seemed like an intimate moment, though she smiled a little when Cyrus noticed her.
"Supper is ready. Would you like for me to bring it to you both?"

Elora looked up as the girl appeared and tightened her hand on Cyrus'.
"Yes, please. You may join us if you like. Aisha had a good idea to help me, she suggested we could perhaps inject oil into my joints, they might loosen up a bit then.

Aisha smiled at the acceptance and offer for her to join them. She had been about to turn back into the kitchen area when Elora spoke again. Blinking a little, she turned back to see what Cyrus's reaction would be.
Cyrus lifted his brow and thought about that for a moment.
"Well... I suppose that could work. Though wouldn't that hurt you?" he asked with concern as he looked into Elora's eyes.

"I imagine it would, yes, but it would be worth it if I could move again. The only alternative is for someone to open me up and fix me from the inside. Replace parts but ... that would hurt more and I don't know anyone who could do it."
