"Glad I could help. Just don't overwork yourself okay?" Though given the situation it was kind of an unfair request. It wasn't like they could simply take five when they needed to.
"That should do for now." Once the first bandage was in place, Ryan backed away a fair distance. Or far enough away so that he wouldn't be caught in the firing zone of Jerry's bazooka. Though when he was done, he returned, slapping Jerry's back and quickly applying another bandage. "Dayum. Remind me not to spar with you." He grinned at the sun hunter before flashing a smile towards Kat as well. "Looks like I'll be working with you then." He only hoped her grudge from before had lifted. Though if she did have any resentment towards him, he doubted she'd let it affect her job.
"Dakota," Ryan started before catching the other moon by his ponytail. "can we borrow you for a little? Or are you going to continue cat calling?" He was teasing of course and given that this was Dakota, it was deemed necessary.

Jason's help was grudgingly tolerated as a necessary part of battle, though Rep did seem to slow in his assault in his attacks of the pudgy shadow creatures to keep one eye on the other hunter the whole time. He was getting out of breath, swinging Tracey did that after a while and it was only the needy thrum of the charge he'd built up that kept him going. The fallen angel wasn't pleased at the fact he'd been holding it back so long but understood with their shield so flimsy right now, it would be madness to use it. "You need to relax a bit." he told their aspiring medic, just missing him with a rebound swing as he said it. "It's only a ******** battlefield."
Giving Harrison a look he went on without skipping a beat "Sounds good to me." he said. "I'll be like "everything that's meat", and then we'll be guaranteed a good meal." One of the shadowlings was punted backwards. "I've no even had breakfast yet." he mused sadly.

A lot of Jordan's reluctance to hurt the other Harrison had been related to his fresh, clear memories of how his own other had felt, a deep and unwavering loyalty and love that had made it difficult to face the task they'd been sent to do. He was still uncomfortable with the thoughts. It helped a little to have had the moment of recollection, at the end, when the fragment had separated from him again and gone to rejoin the people he knew and loved. But only a little.
This really wasn't the time to be thinking about it or discussing it. Not when they were in the middle of a fight, not when a fresh wave of shadowlings were heaving themselves out of the ground. Later. Right now, their task was to make sure there'd be a later to talk about it in.
"Careful," Jordan called to Jason. "Keep yourself safe too, dude." A small knot of shadowlings was creeping up on the guy, and Jordan moved to swat the things flat. Ferros hissed happily and drained the things dry.
"It's Dakota," Jordan said dryly, catching Jerry's admonition. "I'm not sure he can help it."

"If we all die here..." The Sun Hunter grumbled, but turned his attention back to the battle. He pushed his glasses back up his nose, eyeing the re-growing swarm as he tried to catch his breath as quickly as possible. Kat wasn't used to defense- she was a Sun too, after all... and the poor Newbie seemed lost and terrified. It was looking like he was relying on Ryan's bandages after all for now...
Those Ukulele-eating bastards were going to die. The cannon was flipped back up onto Jerry's shoulder, "FIRE IN THE HOLE!!' He bellowed again before the blast ripped forth afresh.

Deryk looked around, trying to see who else needed some bandaging. Playing as combat medic was not something he was used to at all. And he was worried he'd mess up some how. As he scanned the field, his gaze settled on Rep, and he shifted a little uncomfortably.
They were in a dire situation. He couldn't let past instances take over. Using whatever deathy skills he could, he just tried to give the red head a 'hit and run' bandage. Maybe he won't notice it was him.

Deryk swung by with a bandage, and Harrison shot him a grateful grin.
As he laid into another batch of shadowlings that had gotten too close, B0nez lit up.

Rep didn't expect Deryk to help him out but was damn glad when the death hunter did, even leaving a gap in his swings to let him in close enough to slap a bandage on. It hit the spot, and though not enough to pull up his shield to its usual levels, Tracey stopped panicking at least a fraction. "Ta mate." he said with a grin, Even more of a relief than the renewed vigour was the fact that the other man didn't seem to hold ill will towards him for the sparring incident back on the island.
He seemed to perk up a little, the tiredness that had been settling over him receding as he threw his back into the fight once again, going after the shadowlings with a vicious sort of intent. They'd driven them back once, they would do so again, he was sure of it. "I'll just have to have a serious brunch." he said as he sunk the axe hook deep into one of the unfortunate creatures, which dissipated on contact.
"And Jerry, could be worse man, they could eat guitars."

Harrison had done this move...one time, and then he'd been ambitious. He was still getting used to it. He leveled B0nez at Rep like a gun.
"Hold on to something," he said, not sure exactly what would happen, but trusting B0nez's input.
What happened was a strange, pink, electric bubble.
With a brief fizz and a giant WUB noise, it engulfed Rep like a hamster ball. Inside the web, it was hard to hear the noise of the battle outside. Harrison tried, "That's courtesy B0nez. It's supposed to help. Uh. I think."

Tracey's whining was intolerable and the creatures were piling up. The solution was simple.
He nodded to Harrison, gesturing to the haemorrhaging runes. He'd been denied a charge what felt like far, far too long on the island of late. It sung in his veins like a drug, lifting him up, driving away the fatigue. He finally let it. It wasn't morning anymore, he wasn't tired, he hadn't been fighting for ages. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath for just a second he was somewhere else, the sound of the creatures just a bassline, the sweat that slicked him just from the throng of people. In the clubs with some chemical cocktail in his veins there'd been a primal edge that was close, thrillingly close to battle.
It was all like a dance. He fell forward into a run and his momentum picked up the axe along with him, one step, two and he leapt, up and up and up, trailing runes behind him, smirking broadly. It was his favourite thing. His absolute favourite thing. It was like he could fly, until slowly momentum drained away. He didn't fear it, he welcomed it, defied gravity to do its ******** worst. He wasn't afraid.
The best part of any song was always the drop.
He came down to meet his distant shadow in a spray of massive bladed feathers and hooks.
The thunk of steel as he hit his opponents left the axe embedded several feet into the ground. He dismissed him, falling the rest of the way to Harrison who he trusted inherently to be there.
Resummoning, he got ready for more.

"I haven't had any coffee yet," Jordan commented, almost offhandedly, and spun to bring Ferros around in a wide arc, flattening three more shadowlings.
He steadied himself and turned just in time to see Rep and Tracey come down into a cluster of shadowlings with a shattering shockwave. Ferros practically purred in the back of his head, and Jordan blinked. That was still a little odd.

Deryk just gave both Harrison and Rep a sort of nervous grin in turn as they thanked him. And with the latter going on the offensive, he made sure he was very far away from the sun hunter... lest he get cleaved in half again.
Instead, he decided to take his chances around another large weapons user... Jordan. Hopefully he wouldn't get pounded here. But the guy looked like he could use a boost. And so the death hunter ran on over to try and slap a bandage onto his back.

The slap on the back startled Jordan, and he turned quickly, but even as he moved he felt the influx of Fear into Ferros's shield and spotted the white and gold of a Hunter coat. Not an attack. He nodded to Deryk, flashing him a sharp grin. "Thanks, dude."
Freshly energized, he headed for the mob of shadowlings again. The things attempted to slide out of the way, but two of them still splattered against Ferros's metal, and the weapon flared with heat again, restless with the energy of a charge.
