At the rate the huntress was going, closing her eyes and shooting was really not helping! With the shadowling defeated, she crawled out of under her bed and out the door.
The rest of the base needed help and she wouldn't just stand around waiting.

This is totally a bug. :Its not a bug, you idiot!: No, it really is. It looks like a bug. A shadow little bug. Look at those eyes! Better yet - those antenna! Perhaps it was best she get rid of it as fast as possible, and then join up with the others to see what was going on. Maybe she would even get some answers. Like, why they suddenly they had an infestation of shadow like bugs. :They're not bugs!: "I know already! Jeez!"
Mumbling something under her breath, her weapons were summoned, and shot was fired at the bright eyed critter.
Jerry didn't care any more. The rest of the shadowling suddenly vanished in a burst and blast of green light that sent his door exploding outward into the hallway with a force that shook the floor.
"AND STAY AWAY!!!" He snarled, shaking as he wobbled into the hallway. He floated dreamily, for a moment as though confused by the flashing lights and sirens. By the sounds of it, he wasn't the only one with trouble... "GUYS!" He shouted..
... then realized he was still standing in the hallway in nothing but a thin undershirt and his tighty whities.
He darted back inside, pulled on a pair of pants, grabbed a shirt and his coat and leaped out again.
Then paused once more to haul what was left of his door back into place and propped it up with some rubble.

Yes little creature of darkness, run from the power of leon's mighty heel. the creature refused to all victim to his foot as it continued to scamper and run for anything that could be used as a temporary shelter, anything to keep away from the foot.

Leon was handling dealing with one tiny creature in his room very well. He was fairly sure that the video feed of him tearing up his personal quarters was very entertaining and also pitiful.
but it was still moving, so he was still stomping.

The beast found safety inside the knocked over trashcan. The can that spewed bits of balled up paper and pencil shavings when it was kicked across the room. "Get out here so I can kill you!" Leon roared, already sick of this cat and mouse game.

"Ah...! Ah..." Jerry hobbled into his boots as he spotted several Sun hunters leaping past him. Straightening his glasses, juggling Roar over his shoulder, and tripping over his own shoe-laces, he shouted, "SUN HUNTERS!! THIS WAY!!" In what he felt was a properly loud and hopefully authoritative voice, before following after the others to the Main HQ.
Try as leon might, nothing was getting that beast out from the can. and flinging it at the opposite wall in a fit of anger was not helping with that. "Stop hiding you little chicken and DIE!"
It didn't budge. however the fact that it was camping in the refuse bin, gave him an idea. a moment of maniacal clarity that shone through the frustration and had his boot hovering over the opening of the can.
And a thunderous amount of stomping that followed it, incessant and loud and satisfying if he may say so himself.

the little interloper was dealt with, nothing was left in the bin and after a cursory glance around, leon felt confident there was no other surprises hiding in his now disheveled room. "well, talk about trashed." he muttered, taking into account the status of his room.
And putting on a pair of sweatpants and the coat before charging out and following where heading. the chatter was incessant around him, mostly of meeting co-ordinates and Leon was off, there was work for the life division to do, and most of all, there was securing to be done.

Whatever the reason was, lack of sleep she would claim, her attacks didn't appear to be up to their usual standards. In fact, she was on a whole new level of awful today, that she could barely even keep up with the shadowling. "Nimble little s**t, aren't you?" She spat, attempting to kick it as it scurried past her. :For Jack's sake - what the hell are you even doing? Stop messing around, and slay it!: All that Xedis would receive from Katherine, was a mental string of choice curses running through her thoughts.
:Jack dammit woman! Get your act together and kill that thing! Everyone else is already shipping out! You're falling behind.: So what? I'll get there when I get there. And if you're in such a rush, why don't you come out and fight this thing, and I'll sit back and boss you around. :Tch, obviously you know that's impossible since I'm your weapon: Well, for being my weapon, you really do have a mouth on you. All mental ranting was put on hold when the creature darted forward again, aiming to swipe the hunter across her ankle. "Ugh! You're so annoying!"
Without further warning, the shadowling was greeted with the flat of her foot, right into its face. With enough force, she was able to send it flying back once again. If she was lucky, this thing would dissipate soon.

Deryk wasn't a fan of dreams really. Usually when he did, they were nightmares. And the few that weren't, were well... weird as all hell. Tonight's fell within the realm of the latter. There were confusing images that he really wasn't all too sure what to make of them.
The item that resonated most with him? The crown. There was a strange sort of loneliness there, one that.. wasn't a little too far off from how he felt at times. There was also an odd sense of a burden. Well, he did feel a heavy weight upon him most of the time. The burden of trying to be a good hunter when he really wasn't.
As he approached, he stirred awake, feeling groggy from the strange dream. Sitting up, he looked around to try and see the time, only to see... something eating his clock.
"AH!" he cried out, startled. Quickly, he looked about, seeing more of these things devouring various bits of the room.
This wasn't good. He wouldn't be surprised if he was going to get a text for something, so while he wanted to stay and fight, he ran to deal with other places. A good hunter would try and defend key locations rather than his own room... right?
