Alex Trevell winds_of_justice Alex Trevell Yeah, and they don't look like they can be called sprites anymore, they would be 3D models now. Although, I doubt they'll actually have them say their name, think we're still stuck with growls, but hopefully they'll be more like Pokemon Stadium growls so they aren't as ear wrenching. I believe it would have been a lot better if they had done this kind of thing in the first place, then again I'm not a code-writer and have no idea how deeply involved it would be. That and you have to think of the kind of power the system has, though if they needed a better system model, it isn't like they haven't sent the pokemon games to other consoles other then handhelds. A pokemon game on the xbox360 would have been amazing, or even the PS3! The graphics could be totally updated and smooth to look like a regular game instead of pixellated and the pokemon could be a lot more life-like if not so... Cartoonish looking. But then if your target is the younger generations instead of hardcore original fans, I suppose they probably don't care that it looks like a cartoon. I don't think Pokemon would ever end up on any Playstation or Xbox because it's owned by Nintendo, same as Mario, Kirby, Metroid, Legend of Zelda, etc. I know it wouldn't :p I'm not stupid XD I've been a gamer for years. I'm just saying, it would look so awesome on a PS3 with such updated and nice graphics. I honestly can't stand the wii, so I hope Nintendo has something much better planned for its next console.

Pretty much, yep. The Wii U is a device that actually connects wirelessly with a wii so that it can do some extra things. From what I understand it can work as a console on its own, but by God I hope it isn't supposed to be their "next gen console" because I bet a lot of fans would feel ticked off. I know I would be XD And I've been a Nintendo freak for years. I know it can also act as extra inventory storage for some games... But I haven't bought one so I can't really go into specifics.

Gosh, will the game only come out in October? So far away!
I'm wondering if I should get B/W 2. I haven't even finished the normal Black. emotion_sweatdrop And looking through a few youtube videos, they have quite a few of the same gyms.

oh boy no new posts in a couple months?
I would be more excited for X/Y if I actually had a 3DS...
Also, more new pokemon revealed this week, as well as a new type- Fairy (sylveon is fairy apparently)! I'm not sure how I feel about that though. sweatdrop

Eagerly awaiting the game release. I'd love to see them step up competition and have the games or their offshoots on PSP. While I'm glad the game has better body size ratio, I'd love to see something akin to Final Fantasy or Legend of Zelda size ratio.

I wish I could be excited, but alas, no 3DS, and I haven’t played my Pokémon games seriously in probably a year or so (I’m not even sure I properly finished Black 2). Nonetheless I’m rather interested in the new pokémon reveals even if I don’t end up playing the games for who knows how long. rofl
