I just want to share this sci-fi rp site that I joined many months ago. I really love the concept and the story line. Unfortunately, the gm became very busy irl and went hiatus and so did the other players. I tried searching for the same genre in some rp websites and in gaia forums but found none to my liking.

I have a rp idea that we can all do, its a demon type rp. Its about how a community is protected by a group of demon fighters, along the way they meet up with some new people that could be under suspicion of being demons or have demon traits. Later on in the rp, the fighters can soon discover that there is a way to end the demon madness that is attacking the community.
The fighters can have like a organization type and have divisions along with it. Like: magic type division, medical division, range, close combat, ect.
We can also see where can this take place at, i see it as a ancient time around japan or something, something cultural or something around that with modern. Like there can be guns but i would like it to be like muskets or something. Showing that we are way back in time.
We can have the demon threat be actually led by some crazy witch or something like that and is trying to take over the place and turn it into her kingdom for other witches and dark magic users.
If any one has any ideas to add on to this, please do so, i would like for this to be a rp we can all dive into and enjoy with many characters as we can and make events along the way to make this rp last for a long time until another starts.

I wouldn't mind doing an Rp like that. I believe the witch character is an easy fix, if she really is the controlling variable of the chaos, I have some ideas on how to make get hard to find, like a behind the veil character, and also help create monsters, because there are some good ones from shows I have seen, above what I have made up on my own already. Then, we can link everyone together through titles and groups in the RP as if they're competing with other teams to get to her. They can still be working together but it will give a sense of rivalry annex light fights can thus occur on their side of the war.

Alpha types- can simply heal lesser demons with their blood, can fly or levitate, can command lesser demons by compelling them through song, vocals, eye contact, or contracts Alphas are usually aggressive but more humanoid and are susceptible to being classified via the elements and seven sins and can regenerate after an hour Omega types- can regenerate only by eating lesser demons, use weapons to enhance their abilities and sometimes can fly Omegas prefer to stay alone by nature but will work with higher ranked devils easily. They work as supporters and can also use their blood to create circles, ( pentagrams) Beta types-feed off human negativity and blood. Considered bottom feeders, while their bodies are about the size of a five year old human, most don't have humanoid firms but can. Betas can enhance attacks by gathering together and forging their collected dark matter ( created from human emotions) into large masses of raw magic that can be released onto enemies. Only betas have been able to absorb magical attacks while it remains a damaging director to any other demon. Betas prefer group work and are almost always unconcerned with alpha affairs but will workaround the cost of an advantage of some sort.

I was thinking of commenting on the demon rp idea, and decided that rather than picking it apart, I'll just summarize my thoughts on it. xD
For a rp that requires organizations and various roles by traits, you're not going to be able to get the rp going any time soon. The main problem is getting decent amount of rpers to fill in the necessary roles/organizations that'll help get the rp going at a decent pace (let alone those who are willing to play out the most important roles). Another problem is that you have applied the advantages/abilities of whatever species/groups/etc of the demon, but hardly have I seen any disadvantages, even among the highest/most-powerful demon should have a weakness of some sort to make them not be seen as cheap ticket to god-modding role. And when I say weakness, I mean it as a consequence for having/using such a gift, not some sort of "time limit on overdrive mode if taken enough damage" thing.

Hello!!! I'd love to start a roleplay, dealing with the raising and riding of dragons. Also, should you choose to not have a dragon, and simply roleplay as a member of the traveling party, this is a medieval setting RP- action/adventure, things like that. Think LoTR meets Fire Emblem meets Game of Thrones. ADVENTURE! ROMANCE! FIGHTING! All of this found within!!! We will be using the dragons from Dragon Cave- here's a list of dragons and their habitats, I'm planning on using where they were found as part of the story... Click Here!

I'm glad you actually didn't completely pick it apart. Eh, you're right about not being able to get it up and running but I'm sure if someone took like four hours to put it together, it'd get set up easily. The main roles aren't too big of a deal though, because the setting can easily be set around one group and over time as more people join they can get a light summary of what's going on and possibly take on a new group or even the leader position and it can start actively being used. I've done that before and it's really not all that bad. The abilities could use improvement, yes, but that's for the creator knock or take what they like. I left that wide open for them to play with, that's why I didn't go so far as disadvantages. I merely threw out some ideas and tried to keep it level so that even the lower levels had advantages the upper levels didn't. I was also talking more body types than abilities, or so I was thinking. Click Here!Dragon RPs are almost always enjoyable when you add non-dragon types. It's a really cute sounding RP, so if you get one up, I wouldn't mind roleplaying with you anytime. I actually managed to finish one. It was sad but too cool to forget. The Dragon Cave dragons are cool, I recognize them, but..... how would you go about differentiating the areas with that wide of a selection of dragons? (just curious, I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers) Also when non-dragon types are involved, is there the case of riders in this RP or no? Also can there be half-dragons?

Also remembering my fire emblem and ninja rp ideas. The ninja one involves ninja clans dying out because someone basically wants them all dead, but some people are defending the ninja that remain, because of the senseless killing. I get to use my character Zeek in that one.
