"Nono, you're perfectly fine!" Etzer took another bite of a few more foods, really enjoying the selection she put out. "I actually haven't. I was planning on going out with him after lunch, but I'm not sure if he has anything else planned for today." He glanced towards Molan, reaching up to run nervous fingers through his braid. The Frost Demon could tell that his brother was displeased, but he didn't know why.
"Did you want to do anything else later? I don't have anything planned..."

She was apologizing for making them a rather nice meal, that was... rather odd. Xiu was definitely a weird ghoul, sweet, but strange. He shook his head a bit, amused, but letting his brother's comment handle the issue as he picked up a sandwich and took a bite idly. As he listened while she commented that it would be fine if he shared with the little ones. Which led to him snagging a small piece of meat, with his free hand and working to try and break a small piece off of it to offer to whichever pet came over first for it. He'd just idly distribute bite sized bits to them as fairly as possible if they wanted. It was all about knowing not to play favourites with pets. Especially when dealing with someone else's. Just be fair and spoil them a little if allowed.
The question of if he'd been shown around came up at that point as he took another bite of the sandwich, glancing between the two as his brother looked back to him at that point. Was he busy? Not particularly, he'd just been intending to get a few snacks for his pets while out, but they weren't starving, it was a side thing. A tour wouldn't be bad, but he had mixed feelings about dealing with his brother for that long. While he wouldn't mind the talk, he was also a bit too upset with him to want to deal with him. He flicked an ear, idly as he took another bite of the snack he had to buy himself a bit of time, musing over if he did want deal with his brother.
It probably wouldn't hurt, and he could always just use the time to yell at him a bit depending on his Xiu was there. If all else failed he could just wander off and grab the things he needed from the store on his own if he didn't want to deal with him anymore. Swallowing he shrugged lightly and offered a smile. A polite thing more for Xiu's sake than really being content about everything. "I am not busy, I just needed to buy a few things for my room at the store, but nothing else aside from a bit more unpacking." Though there really wasn't much left to unpack, he'd taken care of near everything already. Just a lack of bringing too much foodwise with him had pushed him out before he finished up entirely.

Smiling wryly, she wagged her finger at Etzer in a teasing manner. "That won't do--you have to make sure to help your brother adjust to Amity. Things here get kind of...fast paced sometimes." Which they would soon learn, she was certain. Aside from that unusual dream and the flood of memories from another world though, nothing particularly odd had happened recently. How long the peace would remain was questionable though.
And ooh, yes. Moving into a new place always took some time, especially when one had to go out and purchase additional things for their room. Like...well, furniture and groceries, for one. "Going to the store, hmm? If you need any additional help feel free to ask, okay? I'm small, but I'm stronger than I look if anything needs to be carried." Or if anyone needed to be punched or thrown over her shoulder. Daintily, Xiu lifted her teacup and took a sip.
"I hope you--both of you--truly grow to like it here at Amity though! And, ah, as a forewarning...it may be a good idea to work on some self-defense abilities. Should you ever want to spar, I can offer to be your partner."
So says the small baku ghoul.

"Fast paced, got it." Etzer smiled, staring at Xiu. Yeah, he had the lovesick puppy face alright. He kept smiling while she was talking, nodding to everything she said. "You wouldn't be a good opponent, Miss Xiu." He sighed. "I don't think I could ever bring myself to hit you."
Yeah. Really lovesick puppy that his brother should probably take care of and soon. Not that he'd ever hit girls in the first place.
"I'll totally go to the store with you. Just bro time, yeah?" Etzer smiled, unable to be anything but happy with his brother. "I'm really glad you're here, Molan. It just wasn't the same without you. We make an awesome pair." Of course, he was talking about getting into trouble, which Molan probably knew almost instantly. Not that he'd ever say it out loud, mind.

The place could be fast paced? Worse than it already was? Molan sort of gave her an odd look as he nibbled at the sandwich idly. If it got anymore crazy than it seemed he wasn't entirely sure how he'd handle it. Well... he would. One way or another. Because he had to manage until he finished learning how to be a 'proper demon' or some such. At this school apparently was to teach them all.
He gave his sibling a bit of a look at his reply, resisting the urge to shake his head. Etzer, was about to make a fool of himself. Or already was. It really depended on how you looked at it. Another bite of sandwich as he listened to his brother shrug off the fact that, perhaps, they could learn something from the Baku. Well not in a rude way, more a lovesick puppy. Which is truly what he looked like. He swallowed and smiled lightly to the ghoul, nodding. "If I require assistance I will keep that in mind." And possibly try to let out a bit of stress since she was the source of his woes. A low internal sigh as he glanced at his currently braindead brother. Or so he seemed anyway.
The look on his face did say that Etzer should stop. Now. Because he was acting like a fool. The lack of his own amusement was written all over his face even as his brother seemingly praised him, thinking it was more for show to the ghoul than anything. Sucking up to Xiu in front of him was not going to end well anytime soon. "Etzer. Think before you speak." And that was about all he was going to get. The poor ghoul probably wouldn't get it, but his brother would. And no, he was not going to go breaking rules because his brother wanted to try doing something stupid. That wouldn't end in his favor. "The store does not involve any of that you know." He added, taking another bite of the sandwich and finishing it off. That was all the warning his brother was going to get that he was... well too much of a head over heels fool to realize what he was even saying. Well this just meant he really was going to be in a foul mood for a while.

Etzer received an eyebrow raise and a grin at his comment, the ghoul looking amused as she propped her hands up on her hips. "If we ever spar, I definitely advise that you do hit me, Etzer. Small as I am, I didn't spend the last year and a half sitting around doing nothing."
She watched the exchange between the two curiously for a moment before clearing her throat, grateful for when one of her minis leaped up onto the couch and settled themselves in her lap. She distracted herself by stroking the small creature's fur, tactfully giving the brothers a moment before glancing back up.
"If you two will be off, do you want me to pack up some of this food for you? I can't finish all the excess myself, of course, and with Molan having just moved in and needing to buy groceries, cooking seems like a bit of a hassle, right?"

The frost demon grinned, perking up from the couch. "We'd both love that!" He glanced to Molan. "You can make his a little larger. He needs to eat more." Cue prodding his brother in the ribs in a joking manner.
Yeah, he really was clueless at what his brother was talking about; he was far too happy in the moment to really let it sink in.
"Thank you for your hospitality, Xiu! I really appreciate it."

Apparently there were a lot of things he wasn't the most aware of at this school. In regards to combat being key to... survival to a degree? Still, he knew better than to base things purely on appearance, so merely nodded slightly at the Baku's words. If what she said was true, he should probably take care when asking for a spare if he did. Just in case.
He glanced between the two a moment before nodding at the ghoul's words. Though for a different reason than cooking being a hassle. "It would be appreciated. I haven't really cooked before, so it would take a bit to get it right." He replied, offering a small smile, though it faded as he gave his brother a look. Was he making fun the fact he was taller? The frost demon was offered an equally icy looking before he shook his head. "I am fine with anything. And I eat enough as is, Etzer." He added, mentally noting to give him more of a talking to later. In regards to many things.
He did offer the Baku, who had been nothing but nice, another small smile at that, resisting the urge to elbow his brother in return as he spoke up again. "Mm, thank you." He couldn't say it was nice to meet her, because he did have mixed feelings. She wasn't a terrible person, rather the opposite. Xiu was quite sweet and polite. However, she was also a source of trouble for him, so... well it wasn't her fault. More his brother for being such a clueless fool at this point.

She beamed and hopped off of the couch, her tail wagging behind her. "Okay! Let me just pack everything up for you two." She leaned down to pick up the platters of food, pausing to look at Molan before she head off to the kitchen. "And don't worry, when you're left to fend for yourself, you tend to pick up cooking pretty quickly. Maybe I can help you out sometime?" Cooking lessons, hurrah! She always did enjoy making things with other people, and she was sure that Molan would pick things up pretty quickly. He didn't look like the cooking type exactly, but...well, neither did some of the best cooks she knew.
She whisked the leftover food off to the kitchen, leaving the brothers to themselves as she root through her cupboards for containers and carefully splitting the food between two different sets. Making sure that they were arranged neatly, she stacked them up in bags and carried them out, beckoning for the pair to come forward and take them from her.
"Thank you both very much for dropping by and eating with me! It was fun!" She smiled up at the two, though her expression faltered as she actually looked up at Etzer, Molan's words immediately rushing back to her. Face abruptly turning red, she cleared her throat and held the bags up high in an attempt to block it from view.
"Have a, er, good...rest of the day, okay? It was nice meeting you, Molan."

Yep! Etzer was completely clueless and had no idea what had gone on before. The frost demon gave a nod of thanks as she started to pack up the lunches, turning to glance at Molan. "Cooking lessons! That means I'll have to eat at your place more often as well." Yep, his brother could count on Etzer being there for a free meal, alright.
Especially since he saw that look. That look. That look that meant that yes, sooner or later, he'd end up talking to Molan about one thing or another.
Etzer may have been clueless about some things, but he most certainly did notice Xiu's blush, a grin tugging at the corner of his lips that he couldn't quite hide. "You're rather cute when you're flustered, Miss Xiu." He reached up and took his meal, taking care to just slightly brush his hand against Xiu's. Whether or not it was on purpose remained to be seen, but it most likely was.
He was incorrigible.

He nodded lightly to her comment, not entirely sure if he should help, though her comment as she was turning to leave did make his ears perk a bit. Honestly, he wouldn't mind a bit of assistance, and she did seem to know what she was doing. His brother thought fairly well of her abilities, though that could be mostly bias. Still, if she was offering someone who didn't burn down a building was better than he at it. "If it would not trouble you, I would love the assistance." Though, as his brother commented while she was walking off he sighed and gave the boil something of a look. He should have known that was coming. "Of course..." Not that he minded too much, but with Etzer's current blissful attitude toward everything he was just cranky with him in general.
This wasn't helping.
A quick shake of his head before Xiu came back and he stood, accepting the packed food gratefully. "Of course. Thank you for having us." He replied politely, watching his brother a moment as he took the food as well. "Etzer." His tone reeked of knock it off, as he lifted a free hand to attempt to push his brother along to the door before something else happened. "I'll be sure he causes no further trouble, have a good evening, Miss Xiu." He'd somehow picked up his brother's habit of calling her that. Really his brother was working rather hard to make his already rocky mood worse. He loved piling it on.
Well obviously he didn't want any free meals later if he was going to keep at it.

Was it possible to turn even redder? Apparently it was. At the kiss on her hand, Xiu froze, staring at the boil blankly for a moment before a deeper color rose in her cheeks. Clearing her throat loudly, her gaze flickered towards Molan, who she offered a weak smile and a polite bow of her head.
"Y-yes, both of you take care, okay? Thank you for dropping by."
Once they left, the ghoul immediately went to flop facedown onto her bed.Raja QUICK CLOSING POST FOR YOU GUYSSS thank you <333
