((derp, totally missed that, sorry >x<;;; ))
Ares finally managed to lept forward, summoning dark energy to hit his enemy with in the process. He was more than glad that he could move. Maybe he would even knock the Raichu off the pillar now. He was glad for the net for the both of them, he didn't want to kill the Raichu, but once it was on that net, it would be hard for it to attack him, but easy to attack it...

Amaryllis was hit by the dark power that came from her opponent and she slid backwards across the pillar. Luckily she managed to keep away from the edge. More electricity crackled through her body as she unleashed yet another thundershock. With any luck this one would be more effective. Ares growled as shook his body, sparks flying through his fur again. He pawed at the ground, trying to fight the paralysis again. With a bark, he lept forward, the paralysis couldn't hold him.

Cadence knew that her only chance was if Amaryllis paralyzed the vulpix for more than one turn this time, or the vulpix missed, and so she called out the command for thundershock and crossed her fingers.Amaryllis was hit again and she struggled to stand back up. She was so tired, it was so hot, and her poor feet had blisters from standing on the hot platform for so long. Hearing the command she unleashed one more thundershock hoping it would work.HP: 100 / 1000 Move Used: Thundershock Moves Used: Dig, Toxic, Thundershock

Even though he was a fire pokemon, the heat was starting to get to him, too. His paw pads were starting to crack, his limbs ached. He was panting as he was struck with another Thunder Shock. Static rippled through his fur once more, but he was already moving on tired muscles. The Vulpix charged forward once more, powered by dark energy.

Amaryllis had no chance to even try to dodge as the vulpix slammed into her and she collapsed onto the pillar. Moments after landing her eyes slid closed as she fainted from exhaustion.Cadence cringed as the vulpix hit her raichu again. She knew it was the end of the battle and she had the ball out and ready. With the push of a button a red beam encompassed the fainted pokemon and withdrew her into the safety of her pokeball. Looking across the arena Cadence nodded to the other trainer. "That was a great battle, thank you for the experience. Perhaps we can have a rematch sometime." As the arena switched back to normal Cadence climbed down the ladder from her platform and made her way towards the door. It was time to get her pokemon to the pokecenter and have them checked out.
