It wasn't like the boil needed to speed date. He wasn't even interested in it, but somehow he figured it couldn't hurt. He wasn't feeling as depressed lately, and there was chocolate involved. The boil signed up quickly. He really didn't want anyone he knew catching him..

Pink? PINK? The boil flattened his ears, trying to think of why he had even bothered to come here. Oh right... It had been suggested to him that meeting people was a surefire cure for sad and lonely creatures. Apparently. Efflo wasn't so sure. He scribbled his name quickly, with a sinking feeling in his stomach. Was this really a good idea?

Ying had been tricked. Absolutely tricked. There was a nice young lady in a (admittedly, somewhat ugly, as it was pink) kimono, and Ying had thought she'd been among company. Even though she could tell it was a Halloweener, she thought it might have at least been a decent one.
She was wrong. Thinking Desu-chan was nice, she had blindly signed her name on the list, thinking it was some sort of contest. Speed implied that you had to be quick, so maybe a race? Ying was dead wrong. She looked on with horror as she realized these were dates, and there were Halloweeners among the mix. Oh no. She could not go on a date with these mongrels. No! Just no!
"Small pink woman!" Ying fumed. "You have done a horrible thing! Take my name off the list this instant, or you will rue the the day! I will set plague upon plague upon your family if you do not fix this grievance! YOU WILL NOT DISHONOR MY NAME." What if Jing got wind of this? Worse yet, Salbei. Worse yet, Invictus. Horror struck her face.

Fai only signed up because it was ran by Desu. He was fond of Desu. Mostly because of that one little episode with a pin. "Hello, my dear, a pleasure to see you again," he said to the demon as he jotted down his name. "Tell me, what exactly are we doing?" He probably should have asked that BEFORE signing up...
