"Your situation is intriguing as is yourself. That and I haven't met that many other foals. I want to try to understand how you have been raised as well. "

Atlas's expression relaxed against his will at her reply. He'd studied others at a distance, but that had just been to add as much valuable information to his arsenal as possible--no matter how remote the value was in reality. But for the first time, he was genuinely intrigued. "I haven't met any other foals other than you." A furrowed brow appeared on his face as he continued. "I am... unsure of the reason, but I wish to know more about you as well." His limited vocabulary was having trouble finding the words to describe this intense curiosity about Tekashi.

"Well i was born to a very large family, you may have seen some around maybe, I am the direct descendant of Flighty and Savina. My father is of the evil alignment while my mother was of the good alignment i think. She died soon after giving birth to me and my litter. Oddly enough she was killed by the six, even though father wouldnt have hurt her. They have had many many children and i know i have neices and nephews somewhere. I stick closest to Dad but I like to wander and observe as you see between training. I'd rather watch things then squish them."

"I think my mother was neutral, but I am unsure. I do not believe she was aligned with the humans." Atlas was quiet for a moment. "... Perhaps the Six... has a vengeance of their own to complete." His purple gaze slowly met Tekashi's. "Maybe, since your mother was aligned with the humans, the fact that her mate was one of their own was irrelevant to them." He went quiet again, shifting slightly. "... For some reason, this thought is..." He suddenly turned away from the filly, raising his hooves and slamming them into the rock behind him. The force of his berserker rage left cracks in the stone. "It is... uncomfortable." Why was that? His father was doing something nearly identical. Why would that bring such irritation with it?
He tilted his head, a smile suddenly appearing on his face. "Even if it's just watching someone squish things?"

"Yes if those things displease me. Specially the toads, they dont mind.. and they sound pretty squished." She smiled back. Out of the corner of her eye she examined the rock, woof this pup was strong. "I think what you said about the six was right, they might not even have known my parents were together, in any case she stood against them and they retaliated. All seems fair in war but that depends on who is winning."

The smile widened as she replied. Maybe they could squish toads later. It returned to a frown, however, once they returned to the topic of the Six. "I suppose... I simply do not see the point of killing the northern Azrien. If the problem is the humans, than getting rid of the humans themselves would be the answer, not killing fellow Azrien. Vengeance I understand, but..." This felt different. Yes, vengeance was slaughter, but it was slaughter with purpose--and it had an end somewhere. He nodded absently to her last statement. "The winner is always fair... because the winner creates the rules. The defeated must follow them or become stronger and take victory for themselves."

"Yes I see your point with all of that. Hmm there should be toads around somewhere they like to come out when the sun is behind the cloud as they dont get so crunchy that way." Teka pounced through some reeds.. "None here yet, usually there are, drat." A dragonfly landed on her nose and she tried to look at it.

Atlas moved to join her, blinking at the dragonfly and the cross-eyed Tekashi. He felt something building in his chest, but it wasn't the usual rage. He opened his mouth... and laughed. If he'd been paying attention, he might've stopped himself in horror at the unusual action. He just couldn't avoid it; the filly's attempts to look at the dragonfly were just so... well, amusing.

"Its so colorful..and I can't focus on it!" She said tilting her head this way and that and grinning at the laugh. Another filly would be freaking out at the obnoxiously large insect perched precariously on her purple snout but Tekashi was delighted at the attention but it was thwarting her satisfying her curiousity.

"That's because your eyes are fighting," Atlas replied when he'd calmed down. "Your eyes are supposed to look in the same direction, and yours aren't." He tilted his head. "Maybe try looking to the left or the right?" So that she was still looking at her nose, but only from one direction.

She tried this. "Hah! It worked!" The little pest left then. She growled at it and started the chase. 'Come back here you infernal insect!" She hopped after it into a large reed patch, then came the musical sound of a flattened harp toad and the splash and squawk of a recently wet filly. "... lost the dragonfly and found the toad."

Atlas smiled as his suggestion bore fruit, then followed Tekashi as she chased the flying insect. When he heard her squawk, he instinctively surged forward with the full intent of crushing whatever had caused it. Instead his foot got caught in the reeds and he was sent flying into the water. Grumbling as he righted himself, he shook the water from his mane and trotted over to Tekashi. Then he looked around. "... Where's the toad?" He could use something to squish, and trampling reeds just wasn't satisfying.

Tekashi straightened a leg and pointed at the disgruntled toad. Who was still slightly flat to look at. She giggled and watched Atlas. Waiting for his hunt, pounce and move execution.

Atlas didn't wait for further invitation. He didn't pounce; he swept forward, water splaying left and right as he displaced it. With one swift strike from his hoof, the toad was no more. He waited until his anger simmered down before turning to Tekashi. "Squished."

"And thats what it gets for getting me wet." She snorted in disdain. "Thank you, next time we don't squish quite so well and it will keep harping." She giggled.
