Thankfully, he was eventually caught and cradled by a loving and bouncy mass close to where he had come in. West didn't even try to get up for several minutes, he just lay there fuming.
Eventually he rose again, bouncing dejectedly up to the next closest bubble.

At the last second, the bubble he was aiming for moved and down he went, back to the only bubble in this whole room who liked him.

He landed on his feet this time somehow, the shock of it silencing the boil. What... had just happened? West took a deep breath and looked up yet again. All right. He was going to get out of here if it took all day. Taking a few tentative jumps at the start, West bounced toward the higher bubbles again.

Desu chan looked at West and felt a bit sad for him. Blowing more bubbles, she hoped Rage had not misplaced his faith in the boil.
(I CHANGED STAGE 2 oh god it worked in testing BUT NOW YOUR SUFFER WILL HOPEFULLY BE AT AN END/be easiler)

Levi looked at West, then at Desu-chan, then at West again. If these bubbles were thinking critters, they certainly seemed to be conspiring against the wrath demon. Cupping her hands around her mouth, Levi shouted downward towards West. C'MON WEST! GIT AWN UP 'ERE!

West prepared to jump again, but right before he did, a large bubble floated into his path. They seemed to be more frequent now, which was good for his progress, if not his pride. He could wait.

Finally seeing a clear path above him, West tried another jump, landing on his feet with a very faint smile. He deliberately didn't look up at Levi. He already doubted he would ever hear the end of this. It was definitely time for some more training.

West didn't even pause once he was standing again. He flung himself forward, landing on his stomach next to his ghoulfriend.
he panted. "What jus'..."
No. He wasn't going to speak anymore. He wasn't going to do anything that might cause him to fall again. The boil climbed to his feet and swallowed, trying to temper the glare he wanted to level at Desu-chan.
If he was going to be a ToTer someday, he had to take the hazing.
