Wow, very well put and accurate, lol. Well done, but now, I have a tricky one. Can you rant about or rather what are your thoughts about the relationship between Atticus, Mirai, Emma and Herald. emotion_dealwithit

That entire relationship or Mirai and Atticus and then Herald and Emma?

God almighty...
Alright.
I will split up the whole thing like person a and person b
person b and person c
etc.
That will kind of help me piece the whole situation together... hope that is fine.

First is Atticus and Mirai
I like their relationship in a nutshell. Atticus acts like a very good big brother and I thought the moments they had when Mirai was little were extremely adorable. Now that Mirai is older, she is beginning to gain that rebellious spirit. I like to think of Mirai as someone that is like one of those Perfect Grade A students. They are expected to do so much and go through a huge amount of stress to keep up with those goals. Now that Mirai is expected to fill some big shoes since she is in control of her powers, she wants to distance herself from that perfect student life and try and do what she wants and at her own pace. Now that her father is dead, Atticus seems to want to step up and take the Big Brother role to the next level since he does care about Mirai and it seems he wants to be that older male figure in her life. Mirai cares about Atticus and understands that, but she desires to try things her way which includes her relationship with Texas which she has stood her ground on regardless of what her brother and the others think of Texas. Because of that, I feel that created a small gap between her and Atticus but, regardless, Mirai really loves and looks up to her older brother but is willing to speak her views regardless of what he may think.
Mirai and Herald
I was expecting Herald and Mirai to have a descent relationship since Mirai has Eric's memories, meaning she also has Herald's. I made it so she honestly wasn't very scared of him as a kid but, when she got older things kind of went down hill. Since Herald has a desire to kill Divine and Mirai wanted to keep him hidden, that distanced herself between him and Eric leading to Herald occasionally sending jabs at her. Despite Herald kidnapping her and Texas and almost hurting her as well as coming close to killing Texas, she seemed indifferent to him and didn't seem to have any grudges towards him which is because Mirai wants to try and become allies with Herald (or at least I am trying to make it like that). Then Mirai killed Divine, Herald's main goal for quite a while. That set him off for good reasons. So now, whenever they were in a room together, Herald wanted to kill/beat the sh*t out of her. Mirai attempted to fix that by allowing Herald to punch her... whether that helped relieve any tension between them or not, I have no idea. Hopefully, Emma's relationship with Mirai may help.
Mirai and Emma
It is very interesting having two of your own characters converse amongst each other, Mirai and Emma especially. One of their first real conversations was in the Eibon mission in which they seemed a bit awkward with each other. They have good reasons for it though. Emma helped kidnap Mirai and Texas and their two allies (Herald and Atticus) hate each others guts. If it came to, Emma would obviously side with Herald and Mirai with Atticus so it would be difficult for them to get to know each other as teammates. They at least made a hint of progress in the mission. Like Herald, Mirai doesn't seem to hold a grudge against Emma and I have hinted that the two of them converse through thoughts sometimes. Emma keeps the mental link with Mirai since she spends a lot of her time in Herald's realm and is unaware of any actions outside of that so it is obvious that the two are trying to form some sort of friendship despite the heated issues with their comrades.
Herald and Atticus
The most interesting rivalry I have seen. From day 1, it seemed Atticus and Eric had a sort of rivalry which increased once Herald made his appearance. That rivalry seemed to increase over time since Atticus and Herald or several of the strongest characters in our little group and with both of them having a huge stubborn side, it was no surprise when they decided to go at each others throats if the two were ever in a room together. Both have different view points too which increases that rivalry. Though Atticus can act right away, he does put some sort of thought into his actions and always has a reason behind it while Herald just likes to go all out just for the hell of it. When Atticus went through his peaceful state, it was like mixing oil and water together and only increased the tension between the two. The battle in Charlotte's realm seemed to either help or just make things worse for both altogether. The final tipping point that lead to them basically having a killer grudge against each other was Herald's habit of beating on Mirai which he had reasons for. With Atticus being the older brother, it was his job to protect Mirai and seeing Herald talk down to her and even try to harm her just plain pissed him off.
Eventually, the whole thing turned personal when Herald tried to kill Mirai and, in return, Atticus tried to kill Emma. It looks not even close to a rivalry but more of a bitter hate against each other. They have good reasons for it, as I said before, but that issue could cause an even bigger gap in the mix of Fallen Souls and Soul Syndicate.
Emma and Atticus
In this relationship, I can say that Emma is frustrated with it. Emma is from a completely different time period and was abandoned by her old comrades. She ended up being sent to the past and met up with the others that she didn't even know and then went to the present time with them. With Soul Syndicate being the first group she came across since escaping her prison, she felt the need to really want to befriend all of them. In Charlotte's realm, after Herald and Atticus' fight, Atticus was one of the first Emma could call a friend since he approached her and gave her advice. That went down hill as her relationship with Herald grew and she helped him get his body by kidnapping Mirai and Texas which left a bad impression of her for Atticus. Emma had multiple reasons behind kidnapping Mirai and Texas and harming them was not one of them though it may have looked like it to Atticus. She attempted trying to converse multiple times with him but failed and even almost died by his hand as he threatened Herald for trying to kill Mirai. Emma still wants to try and mend things but is sort of in the middle since he may still hate Herald who she is close with. That leaves her in an awkward position if the two cross paths again.
Emma and Herald
Another favorite couple of mine! Since Emma was originally Sabrewolf's character and Herald's future spouse, it was obvious the two of them had to become friends eventually or compliment each other in some way at least. It was also a bit of an empty canvas since I only knew a couple of things about Emma while making her character which was that she had a pretty cheerful personality and obviously had something that could calm Herald down and make him what he was in the future. Since Herald is quite a piece of work, it was a little tough trying to think of how Emma should come across. Anyway, it appeared Emma and Herald had a love hate relationship originally. Herald sent a barb at her, Emma would send one back. Then there would be times where Emma just likes to mess around with him, climbing on his back and even licking him at one point. Emma started piecing together some clues since a majority of the group knew she and Herald would end up together at one point. I think I made it so Emma realized what the hell was going on in Charlotte's dimension but she refused to admit she would like Herald since he was still kind of a bully to her then. She started taking note of Herald's attitude and started understanding his situation and why he ended up wanting his own body, sort of connecting it to her own situation that she had back in her time. She knew he was going to go to huge extents to try and get his own body which is why she followed him. She didn't want bystanders to get hurt during the stare down between him and Mirai and Texas hence why she knocked them out. She also wanted to help Herald in some way. I like to think that Emma is one of the few that can actually get across to Herald if he loses it and can handle whatever verbal barbs he throws and throw them right back. (I have a lot more about this but meh)

In conclusion:
Herald and Atticus hate each other for good reasons while Mirai and Emma are in the middle of this giant mess. Because of how random the two of them are as characters, I have no idea what to expect in the future. Until then, Mirai and Emma are going to continue and try to calm things down on either side... No idea if that will work.

I tried...

Oh..My...JEEBUS! I did not expect you to type an essay, lol, but I'm kind of glad to see that you did. crying I really enjoyed reading this and it also gave me a few ideas to work with as well.

Also, a little side note. In the beginning, Atticus initially befriended Eric and the two became both rivals and really good/close friends. When Herald was introduced, Atticus didn't really like his whole approach to things and his attitude. He honestly thought of him as a nuisance and threat and then, after going on a few missions together and getting to know Herald a bit more, he found out that they had many things in common, one being their love of fighting. Admittedly, he had grown to trust and accept Herald as a member of the team and a close friend as well and as you stated, they became rivals. However, because of how Herald when about separating himself from Eric, using Mirai and Texas, he had broken the trust that Atticus held in him and earned his wrath, this led to the whole arm losing incident, which only deepened Atticus' hatred of Herald. However, the final straw, was when he attempted to kill Mirai right in front of Atticus. After just losing Divine, his father figure, Atticus did not want to lose anyone else, so seeing Herald try and kill Mirai, Atticus had finally had enough and vowed to kill Herald. So, yeah, the hatred runs deep within the two. While he and Emma only really met and spoke a few times, Atticus then initially accept her as his friend, but the moment she sided with Herald and helped him, she had earned Atticus' disdain. Although, he doesn't hate her like he does Herald, he just can't seem to trust her. No matter what Mirai or anyone else say. The whole issue with him and Mirai, is fairly simple. After Divine's death, he made it his goal to take over, as both a father figure to her and her brother, so of course, this caused him to dislike Texas, who had known about and at first liked him, but now he only wants the best for Mirai and as of now, he does not think Texas is the best.

It is a bit easier seeing it from your point of view XD I was making a few guesses with Atticus. And I knew it would be long since I would have to kind of show how each character feels about each other... and I am in a chatting/ranting mood sweatdrop

Alright, for the last one, how about Charlotte and Atticus or Shira and Noira

Shira and Noira don't even have a relationship XD

This one will be a bit shorter.
Obviously Charlotte likes to act like a mother figure for Atticus. Since she has had close ties with Divine, she knew him when he first met her and always had the best interests at heart for him. Charlotte did seal up her emotions though to limit them so it is difficult for her to show her kindness towards her children sometimes hence why you won't see her saying "I love you" very often or see her cry. I think Atticus obviously feels the same way, thinking of her as a mother figure and someone he can look to if he needs anything. They have their occasional differences but everyone does. Charlotte is the kind of mother figure who lets her kids do their own thing once they reach a certain age which is why she doesn't get in between Mirai and Atticus if they argue since she knows they are old enough to work it out on their own. She is their for advice or a hug even which is something Atticus seems to get. XD
I am trying to get Charlotte for out there since I feel she hasn't been as developed as my other characters so we may see her be a bit more forward now that Divine is gone. So she may become a lot more forward with Atticus when it comes to any issues he faces. We will see.

I look forwards to seeing a lot more of Charlotte, maybe you could have her somehow unseal her emotions or have something happen. Maybe Charlotte could have something to do with getting Atticus and Herald together and ending their conflict.
