Chosen Power Name: Healing Moonbeam
Power Description: Luna can 'harness' the the moonlight into healing energy around her fists and channel them into an allied target. (Looks similar to the first healing ability by Monks in this WoW vid)
Weakness: She can not heal during the day time. If the moon is obstructed by clouds, her power is weakened.

Luna eyed the stick in her hand curiously. She had done as instructed and carved her name upon it but still the Faun's rituals seemed strange and weird to her. She had had power so long ago in Equestria that need not rituals or strange courtships, but alas here she was anyways. Apparently, coming to this new land and being bound to the great tree meant even more powers, powers specific to one pae alone. She had known her sister had done so already, having learned that she was something called a Shaman.

She stepped up, handing Rai's the stick, wondering what her power would be. She could already create the illusion of night, though it taxed her body the longer she used it, she discovered. Would this same power do exactly the same thing? Was that how it all worked in this land? Still things were so different and she found herself having it harder than others to adjust it seemed. But she wasn't going to give up yet. At least, that is what she told herself while watching the flames lick around the stick and melt it into ash.

Once the ashes had been collected, her gaze stared stern and questioning at the dew as it seemed to twist and transform into a form of a green glowing seed, and this she was to drink. She had her doubts at first, wondering if this was would really work but she found she had no choice or say in the matter. Her sister had done it and seemed fine, and so she would too. Lifting the bowl to her lips, she sipped it slowly, shutting her eyes and letting a wave of strange feelings wash over her body. When she opened her eyes, something seemed to whisper in the back of her mind and she felt a strange sensation she could not explain.

Healer. They whispered to her, and she stared into the empty bowl with a new glint of determination in her eyes.

Power Category: Geomancer - 3
Chosen Power Name: Flower Whip
Power Description: Cadence can take a flower and extend the stem into a long whip. If the flower stem has thorns, the entire whip is covered in thorns.
Weakness: Fire is bad. Whip go poof in seconds. With enough force they can torn or ripped, since they are made of plant, they wouldn't have the strength of say metal. She can't make more than one at a time, and she can't produce one right after the other if they keep tearing. She has to spend time to 'recoup'. (Thinking like, two, two and a half hours? I don't really see her having a need to produce them 50009787 times a day either)

Chosen Power Name: Eagle Time! Oh yeah!
Power Description: Eagles are known to be exceptionally brave, tenacious, protective, and have amazing eyesight! Most of those qualities, Shining already has, but I'd love for him to be able to see long distances and be able to detect minimal movement that is out of place. Eagle Vision: GO! Reason being, he is (or was) Captain of the Royal Guard! His duty is and forever will be to protect the Princesses! What better ability can you ask for than that?!
Weakness: When using the zooming in function of his eyeballs, it acts much like tunnel vision. His peripheral is gone outside of the radius of the area he's zoomed into. Think of it as looking through a telescope. When you're focused on the image in the telescope, things around you or in the space between where you are and where you're looking are hidden, right? Yeah... that...

Chosen Power Name: Lightning Warp
Power Description: Lightning Dust can fly up to a speed where she is able to 'wrap' a fair distance in front of her, leaving a faint and split second lightning explosion effect in the sky. (think Sonic Rainboom mixed with hyper drive?)
Weakness: She can't warp super far away. She can't do it one right after the other without serious dizzying side effects, and it takes hours to recover till she can do it again. (like maybe two or three 'warps' a day if its really really necessary)

Lightning Dust snorted. They really expected her to go through this strange ritual just to get a power? She had had power before in Equestria but this land seemed to have dulled it down to nothing but a tiny tickle on a foals cheek. She couldn't even rest on a nice fluffy cloud anymore and man did those beds in the tree suck.

But she sighed. In her hand she held a stick from The Great Tree that she had whittled her name into. Everyone else was doing it, even the Princesses so she guessed she should do it too.... after all there was a slight chance she could -possibly- get something cool out of this....right? She could only hope at least.

Once they had called her forward she presented her stick and watched as they burned it down to collect the ashes. Wait... they expected her to drink ashes? Now that was just gross! She crossed her arms and huffed, turning her head upwards and away.....but curiosity got the better of her. She peeked open one eye just in time to see the ashes form into something strange, glowing....almost in the shape of a seed. It was then that she was now presented with the bowl of liquids and asked to drink from it.

Lightning Dust eyed them curiously. Would this hurt her in any way? How would this even grant her 'powers'? And what did it taste like? All these questions and more ran through the egotistical pegasus's mind as she stared at her reflection swirling around within the bowl before finally taking a deep breath and swallowing hard.

A strange sensation washed over her and she felt a slight chill. Her wings gave a few flickers before her eyes slowly slid open and a strange voice seemed to speak to her from the winds.

Lightning Dust glanced back into the bowl a moment before a smirk tugged at the corner of her lips. Gatekeeper..... now this at least sounded promising.

Power Category: 5 - Terrakin
Chosen Power Name: Ox Blood
Power Description: It's not unheard of for a Work Horse like Big Mac to be able to pull large and heavy loads of freight, apples, faunies... you name it. But even a work horse has limited stamina and can only pull so much in comparison to an Ox. I mean... how else would you explain Big Mac pulling a cart full of supplies worth 30 Faunies in weight over the course of a day without stopping/little rest and limited food supply?! Because he called upon his inner "Ox" (he doesn't know it's an Ox, promise!) to aid him. Extended Stamina under extreme conditions and the ability to pull or lift things heavier than most would think imaginable... Yeah.. It has Big Mac written all over it.
Weakness: Like any work horse, this macho man has to keep hydrated and engage in a little snack from time to time to keep going. And there are limits - weigh caps - to which he can endure.
(I may need a little help with assigning weight caps on things he can pull and things he can lift. I can't brain numbers today...)

Power Description: Pinkie does random twitchings and various itchings to determine a bizarre premonition of something to come! Personally, I think if you haven't seen the show, you don't know what you're missing. Watch this. It'll help. Promise.
Weakness: Even though she can essentially predict things to happen, she's never sure what's going to fall, which door will open, or from which direction the swarm of bees will come from! Not to mention, her Pinkie Sense happens at random. It's always sporadic and without warning.

Chosen Power Name: I've Got Just the Thing!
Power Description: Aloe has the unique ability to create marvelous lotions, aloes, bath salts/soaps and creams to suit any Faun. Be it for complexion, cleansing, or relaxation, she's got the knack to create the remedy.
Weakness: Her specialty is creating the ointments and creams and such. However, there is always a trial and error process. In a strange new land, most of the herbs and things she's used to using to create her "masterpieces" are no longer within her reach. She has to relearn the flora in this new land and understand it's qualities to ensure the best possible concoctions. Not to mention the endless possibilities of creating something new and different every so often to keep any regulars at the future Spa coming back for more and bringing their friends too!

Power Description: Opal is bonded with Cephlapods. She can change the color, pattern and even shape of her skin. She can talk to small cephlapods. Larger ones are more of a problem.
Weakness: Changing anything will cause her pain. The greater the shift, the greater the pain. So she tries not to do it at all. In the beginning, she won't understand the chatter she hears in her head. It will be a jabber here, a jabber there. Slowly, with enough practice, she will be able to carry on short conversations. Anything more or longer will give her a massive headache/make her mentally exhausted. ((I.e. She sleeps after too much talking to fishy))

Lust was rather nervous and rather scared, she had thought long and hard what side she wished to be on and in the end she decided to go with her father and his Faun's, it wasn't an easy choice but one she felt was right choice given how much she had spent around her father and how much she wanted to try and fit in with those who he knew as kin members. Lust also wasn't told when she was a child that the Faun's leader, Rais, wasn't a huge fan of Hybrid due to one reason or another and so seeing him face to face for the first time in her life was a really frightening event for her, feeling she was going to be thrown out once he set eyes on her.

She had burnt her twig in the ritual fire pit and proceeded to take the ashes towards Rais, knowing it was probably a stupid thing to do she didn't care, she wanted to be accepted here and goodness knows she was going to try and prove to him she belonged, hybrid or not! Lust handed him the bowl and awaited her fate, looking around and noticing others in the same situation and was a little relieved she wasn't the only one who was going through this, not that she knew she would be but it just felt a lot better doing it with several others at the same time then by herself.

Looking back at Rais she took another deep breath and let it out, taking the special bowl back moments later and silently prayed she would get a good power, a power she can use to protect the Faun she longed to be part of and with a small glance to her father who smiled at her which calmed her a little and then she proceeded to drink the seed quintessence feeling a warm sensation as it traveled down her throat and into her body. As it slowly took over her she glowed a little as the seed planted itself inside of her and closing her eyes she started to feel a power that was different to anything she had ever felt before, she couldn't really describe it but it was a power she prayed once more that she would be able to do good with and to help her fellow Faun out with when she needed to.

Opening her eyes a few moments later she looked up at Rais who was standing there and making her still seem so small and meek but once he said that she was to be a Terrakin she could of cried right there and then, not because of the fact she knew what a Terrakin was and was happy to be one but because of the simple fact that he actually didn't kick her out! It was the first step, though a small step, to actually being accepted here so she bowed a little and thanked him, turning around she left his sight, curious though to find out what a Terrakin is and yet excited to learn all about it.

Second-gen Pae'il don't roll for their power category. They have a separate form, and their power category comes from one of their parents. So, most likely she would get a power in the same category as Tafari, but could also be influenced by Himeros'.

Chosen Power Name: Spirit Speak
Power Description: He can talk to the dead, the Faun who have died yet not yet passed over to the other side due to unfinished business but are happy to help with different things, give messages to others whom may need them etc.
Weakness: He can't be bothered, when he goes into a trance to summon a spirit for help he needs complete and utter quite and full concentration or else it could mean a bad out come for him. Not only will the spirit may not help but there is a chance the spirit may also be a vengeful spirit looking to take on a body so it can cause havoc and also when he does this it also takes up a decent amount of energy depending on how long it will take to contact a spirit.

There could be some difficulties with this ability that I'd like you to be aware of. First, we had a Pae'il previously with the power to hear the voices of the dead. She had an agreement with the shop, regarding this power, since it is one that can be easily power-played regarding shop plot. There should be no information 'made up' related to any Pae'il history or plot, unless it comes directly from us for you to use.

Also, this will require you to have a firm understanding of Faun society and their history as well. It will involve a lot of reading and catching up on things you may have missed, so that in the things you do make up for him to hear, you don't contradict anything that's already been established as canon in RP. You need to have a firm understanding of Faun society and its norms, as this is a well-established society that has existed in seclusion for a long time. If he would be speaking to those who lived there before, you need to know how they would have lived and felt.

I'd understand if this is too imposing and you'd rather pick something else. 3nodding

Power Description: Prism Strider can morph rocks into a crystal prism that reflexes light into rainbows.
Weakness: OOO THE COLOURS~ Those looking at the rainbows tend to get lost in thought due to how awesome rainbows are...Prism Strider tends to need a swift kick to snap out of this since he falls for it every time. We dare not try to see what happens if there where two. The double rainbow just might end the island.

All seriousness it takes a lot of energy to change a rock to a crystal so he can only preform this if fully rested and once every few days.

Prism Strider blinded as he looked around. This life was just so different from what he was used to. They got funny looks sometimes and everything was just so different. He missed training for the Wonderbolts....If they were even a thing anymore. He hadn't seen Spitfire in awhile...Was this really the end of them?

But he couldn't just sit around doing nothing...He had to do something. Something productive. Something to help. They did let all of them into their home..Made the room..And they were nice! He had to help.

So that's how he found himself in front of his peers, in front of his new leader, looking at a wooden bowl. He preferred to be in the back, watching..Not..Being the center of attention! He gulped as he took the bowl nervously. He looked around for a moment before bringing the bowl to his lips and glupping down the liquid inside. He wasn't even too sure he tasted the drink or the seeds. He just wanted to get this over with.

Wai- What was that? What did that mean? WHAT DID HE DO? He froze for a moment before he noticed something becoming him over to the sides. Thank the skies! He hurried over and took a seat. What happened next...Well he'd figure that out tomorrow.

Weakness: Power 1 - Ocie is unable to form two daggers at once. He will be unable to create them during the daytime, and the dagger will be weaker during dawn and dusk, the between times, though still able to form.
Power 2 - Ocie will have to learn to interpret what the light is telling him. He may be the only one to spot the bubbles of light. Ocie will have to learn to interpret what the bubbles are telling him, or even that the bubbles are telling him anything. There is a large chance that he'll never entirely understand everything that is being told to him. The light bubbles will only tell him what is in the body of water he is currently in at the moment. He may one day learn to sense when a being leaves the water, but for now, he is simply able to see what is in the water right that instant.
