Keilana deals half dmg to the wight. a total of 3 dmg
Hp: 10.25/20
Keilana swung her hammer again, she felt it make contact but it wasn't as powerful as she would of liked it to be. The creature was writhing in pain but her blow wasn't going to bring it down. Backing away she breathed heavily, her head pounding she wasn't sure just how to approach it next.

Zuri was shocked when the Wight reached for the end of her spear, and for a second she was sure she was going to end up like some of her teammates, bloody and hurting, but luckily he missed and she was able to get away before he could do any damage to her. She took a deep breath and took a few steps backward, putting more and more distance between her and the beast. Although she hadn't been hit directly the adrenaline in her body was lessening and she was beginning to feel tired from the trek to find the beast as well as the fight. Standing there with one hand on her head she wished that she could be more help to her team, but at that moment she was useless.
First: Two (No Damage)

It was going down! The Wight hadn't even been able to attack any of her teammates this turn, that meant he was dying and should be done with soon. "He's dying! she called out, hoping to encourage her teammates so that they would attack more fiercely and kill the beast before it hurt anymore of them! She wanted to go to the aid of those who had fallen, even though none of them were close to her personally or her sisters, that she could see, but she could be helped once the monster was dead. She had to prioritize.
She ran towards the beast once more, her attack not doing as much damage as she would have liked, but it was enough that she figured it would make a dent.
First: Five (half damage)
Second: Six (3 damage)
HP: 10/10

The battle raged on but Shukri, still lying curled the ground was ignorant of most of the details. It was taking all of his concentration to remain conscious. He had slipped his last knife free of it's sheath and was trying to steady his hand for a throw. He couldn't get his throwing arm to form a proper arc now. He'd have to skim it like you would a rock across the surface of a pond. Unable to really aim Shukri simply curled his wrist inward then painfully flicked it forward as he released the knife.
He smiled with bitter satisfaction when the blade hit it's mark. If he didn't make it, if they didn't get him to a healer before the injuries did him in, well at least he'd made sure no one else had to die.

Ayo watched, entirely impressed as Shukri, so beaten that he was crumpled on the ground, managed to toss another knife in the Wight’s direction. The woman was even more impressed that the blade hit its mark. She eyed the beast warily. Surely, it was over. The creature hadn’t even been able to attack. It was clearly disoriented, blinded by the huge amount of blood streaking across its face, down its body, matting the dark fur that had no doubt evolved to keep him warm in this harsh terrain.
…One could never be too careful.
The woman rushed forward, knife in hand, prepared to take another blow at the beast, just in case. However, she pulled up short, a hard knot of pity welling up in her chest. Vicious or not, this creature had been doing what they all strove for: survival. And yet, it had injured her allies.
Ayo glowered at the creature as it writhed in pain, waiting for it to fall, wondering what they would do with the corpse.

Aminah was prepping for another attack as she watched the others attack the beast with ferocity. Her group looked a little worse for wear, to say the least, with a wind tribe boy she didn't know personally taking the brunt of the damage. She was about to strike again when the boy threw another knife at the Wight and she watched as the beast started to sway.
Aminah thought that maybe this was the shot that would take him down.

After the throw was done Zuri made her way towards Shukri as fast as she could. "Are you okay?" she asked knowing that he wasn't, as long as she could keep him talking that meant he was okay enough to be alive. She was knelt down next to him, looking around she wondered if anyone among them were healers. She also looked around, it seemed the Wight was dead but before dying it had done its damage in hurting most of them, she was lucky to come out mostly unscratched.

" Still alive" Shukri mumbled to the stranger crouched above him " Not okay, but alive." He was also more tired than he'd ever been but he knew better than to sleep.

The creature was already visibly struggling, swinging uselessly at the air in vain attempts to hit his diligent attackers. However, it was no use.
The Wight screeched in pain and when Shukri's amazingly flung knife sunk snugly into his chest, it was only a matter of time. The creature collapsed, chest heaving as a pool of blood melted the surrounding snow. It didn't take long before the beast fell to the ground, unmoving.
He would no longer be a threat to the people of Zena.
Perhaps a tuft of the Winter Wight's fur would serve as a reminder for the people that, in order to survive, some sacrifices must be made. The participants in the battle would have a reminder of their accomplishments that day.

Some part of Keilana was mildly dissapointed in the fact she didn't deliver the finishing blow in this hunt, but at the same time seeing how the man who's name was Shukri who was...very beat up...bleeding far worse than herself was the one who did it..she was less irritated. She should go congragulate him on a good job, though it looked as if he needed more ...healing. Why wasn't there a healing amoungst the group this time? ....Part of her grumbled about how it could of been handy having her brothers ...guy...lover here. He could heal.
Sighing she staggered a little needing a bit of help herself moving she went over to where Animah stood. Noting that people were standing around the corpse of the creature she somehow felt....bad now for helping in kill it. Though she had been the first to strike hadn't she? Good planing on her part...rush in...get crushed.
"Well..I guess that...is it."

The woman exhaled deeply as the beast finally fell to the ground, the life draining from his body. It was always a sad sight, of course, especially knowing that she had participated in the killing of this creature. Yet she knew it was for the best. He had been endangering people... he had injured many of her allies. What had been done needed to be done.
The woman retrieved two small tufts of fur from the creature, keepsakes, and bound the edges together with two, thin pieces of string. She then made her way to the place where Shukri had fallen... where he was alive, but not doing well.
"Here." She murmured, handing him one of the bound tufts. If anyone deserved a keepsake from this event, it was her fellow Wind Tribesman.
The woman then turned to the others around them and to Freya, who had not moved since she had fallen. "We need to get them help..."

Keilana took note of the wind tribe woman who was assisting to the needs of those who were hurt. her own body rather sore but...there...was ...the woman who was laying unmoving on the ground. Moving towards the girl who seemed to be taking charge she looked to what was being offered to him. Fur?
"I can try and carry the girl if you want to help him..." she offered as she approached Ayo, the hammer still in her hands though being dragged slightly against the ground. "Well all to seek a healer....its a shame none came with us ..."

Briella went and grabbed a tuff of hair from the beast, bounding it as she had seen Ayo did. She wanted a keepsake, something she could bring home and show her sisters so they would know of what she helped accomplish. She moved towards Zuri and the fallen man, she was stronger then the Earthling and bigger. "I can help you. You can support your weight on me, or I could carry you." she suggested to Shukri. She looked towards Ayo, who in her mind had stepped up as the leader since Freya had fallen. "Yes they need help as soon as we can get it to them. Being out here in the cold can not be good for them." she said to Ayo.

Zuri nodded towards Ayo and watched as Briella grabbed a tuff of hair. She wanted one as well, to show Biroki when she got back, but she didn't want to leave Shukri's side. When Briella offered to help Shukri she wished she could do it herself, but she knew that Briella was bigger and stronger then her and she wouldn't want to drop Shukri by accident and hurt him more. "She's right, when we had people hurt in Zena we would bring them inside and out of the cold as soon as possible."
