Yeah grindr nowadays is never used for finding friends, like it may happen once in a blue moon but by now everyone knows its for hookups. Even when u put u don't want to hookup u'll still get ppl trying to hit u up for it. So if u haven't gotten the app and r not into hooking up with random strangers, then stay away. I keep mine for shits and gigs, like if I'm in a room I like to open up the app to see who's gay and who has a grindr lol.
