Despite herself, the ghoul couldn't help but giggle a little when Terra called Roch an idiot. There was just something very...sibling-like about that, she found. It made sense considering their relationship (because when she thought about it, she could only ever see Roch and Terra as brother and sister and not nephew and aunt).
"Mmm, that sounds like it was an interesting class!" And it seemed as if the reaper ghoul had learned something from the class, if the fact that she pulled out a glue gun from her bag was any indication. Grinning, Xiu clapped her hands together lightly. "Ah, that's awesome! They're definitely a lot more effective than other glues!"

"So we will do this with the glue gun!" she said, as if she was an expert with the new item--she'd only just taken it out of the box before putting it in the bag to bring with her. Curiously she turned it this way and that, then tried putting the glue stick in--"it is not melting," she noticed. "Do you think it is broken?" She'd forgotten to plug it in.

Xiu looked startled when Terra stated that it wasn't working. That was strange--could it be broken, as she had suggested? Or perhaps...
Her gaze followed the cord, starting from where it was attached to the glue gun and trailing downwards until she found the plug which, as expected, was currently not plugged into anything. Grinning, Xiu giggled lightly as she reached over to grab the dangling end. "Maybe this is the problem?" Leaning forward, she plugged it into the outlet in the wall, and then turned back to look at the ghoul.
"What about now?"

"Oh," Terra said, flushing slightly. "I had forgotten," she said sheepishly. "It is getting warm!" she announced after a moment of watching it. "We just need to squeeze the trigger--" She squeezed the trigger and glue trickled down from the nozzle. She grabbed the headband quickly, wiping it onto it. Then she pressed the flower to it. "There!" she said. "I... think I glued my finger..." she added a moment later.

Grinning, Xiu lifted a hand and gave it an airy shake. "Don't worry--I've forgotten to turn the oven on once, when I was trying to bake something. Stood there for 30 minutes wondering why nothing was happening!" It was easy to let such obvious little things escape one's mind once in a while, she had noticed. Plugging in a glue gun was no exception.
She let out a little squeak when the glue already began drizzling out of the tip of the glue gun, but fortunately, Terra moved quickly enough that the drops were not wasted. Beaming, she lifted her hands to clap when the flower was pressed against the headband--it was done!--only to pause at Terra's trailing confession.

Terra tugged, glaring at the glued fingers before finally pulling her fingers apart. Then she looked a the glue gun with a strange expression-- Which promptly turned into an evil grin.  "This... might be a very useful thing," she said, happily.

Xiu wasn't sure that she liked the look in Terra's eyes. Leaning back a little, the baku eyed the reaper warily, her brows slowly lifting and disappearing behind her bangs. "Useful...how, exactly?" She asked carefully, gaze flickering between the ghoul and the glue gun.
...Maybe she should take it away from her.

"To glue things, of course!" Terra said, looking positively innocent. It was like the evil smile of doom had never happened. "All sorts of things!" Things like her padre's shoes to the floor, or pants to a chair or-- Oh the possibilities!! "Oh, but we must finish the hair pieces, no?" she said, grabbing the next flower and hairband to get back to work.

Ah...had she imagined the look, then? ...No, there was no way that she could have made up that mischievous expression that had momentarily crossed Terra's face. Still, she seemed to be...back to normal now, though the baku had to question just what it was she intended on gluing together. Considering that that was what the glue gun was for though, there was nothing that Xiu could say about this matter.
Instead, she simply nodded. "Yup! Just the headbands, and I guess we'll be done with presents!"

"Then we will have music and dancing!" Terra said happily, quickly getting to work and finishing up the gluing. Then she looked at Xiu expectantly. "You have a record player, no? I will teach you the flamenco!"

O-oh boy...dancing? Ballroom dancing Xiu had learned and was okay with, but flamenco? The baku looked hesitant, but then nodded, a small smile curling on her lips as she nodded.
"O-okay, I...I'm ready to learn! Let's do this!" She chirped, her expression becoming determined. She would learn how to dance the flamenco, and she would have fun!
...
This was going to be an interesting day.
