She couldn't help but give the two nobles a soft eye roll, but the look in her eyes were that of soft amusement."Lan, a pleasure, I am sure you are well received." She offered, before giving Mengyao a sweet smile, and turning to the little student.
"You do very well for a melee fighter," she complimented the little miss, showing her honesty in the situation. She was not very wordy, but she wasn't rude.

At the reactions they both gave, the two both having rather similar faces at the moment, started him for a moment. Ears back, face unguarded and the same usual, derpy look he walways had, he blinked back at the both of them. Really? Really? The HELL was their problems? His face soon washed the shock away, and was replaced with a guarded look of calculation. Did they even know what the hell they just suggested through those glares? The fact they were glaring at him was a sign they disagreed, and on default agree'd with the HUMANS on this matter? These were not typical humans, these were hunters. They are bred to kill their kind. Trained to hone those skills, until they finally were nothing but machines oiled for slaughtering the halloween people. They attacked first, they breached the unknown contract that was between two sides in war. THEY started it. They were the ones whom took their essence and turned them into weapons. Swayed them to go over willingly, no... he would not forget. It just seemed the hunters were better at persuading halloweens than he thought. He would need to have a heart to heart with Mei and Tybalt later. Looking at them both he clearly mouthed the words 'are you SERIOUS??' back at the pair. She feinted a swipe, got hit, but continued in her attacking.
She didn't know why she was attacking this Hunter anyway, but she was. A blind, red rage told her to.
"Thank you." She replied. Not curt or snappy, but brief. Melee fighters didn't have much time to talk.

Shehk passed a look towards Demi with another fangless grin. "Come to help out your Alpha, hm?" she teased, but patted him on the shoulder before she lunged back at the hunter.
There was no protest for getting help. However, the more she hit the human, the more excited she seemed to get about it, standing just a bit straighter, grinning just a bit more crazed....Shehk's HP: 30/50 Damage: 9 DISTORTION CHARGE: 4 TALL, DARK SKINNED, MACE WIELDING MIST-AS-LIFE

Examining his own hands, he sighed as he looked at them as if they had hindered him from killing the human. Green eyes flicked to the new student as he inclined his head, offering a hello from behind the Dragon.
"Yo, I'm Night!" He saluted the student before the green eyes flicked over to Tybalt. Shame, Shame, Guilt, Shame.
"Sorry old friend. Guess I wasn't the cat you knew." He flicked over to Remi and knew that he shared the same thoughts the black cat did. If they weren't here to harvest, then what were they here for.
"Aymet, Make sure to keep the hunters in line. We don't want Medea to get upset at us..." He grinned, returning to the dragon's side. it was probably better and easier to stick to Aymet and Remi as far as harvesting.

Tseng fired an arrow straight through the mist hunter's knee. The cry of pain she gave out in turn caused him to pump a fist into the air. A solid hit he had managed!
Oh this was going to be a battle to go down in the record books for sure. And he was a part of it.
It was a good day.
For hunters to die.

Well this was just going to go all of well.
Sharra felt as though they had stepped through the portal and into chaos.
And he had to instantly side-step to keep himself from being smashed backwards by a rather imposing Hunter that viciously lunged forward with a throaty battle cry.
Well. All right then. So this was how this was going to go. The Nergal braced himself, hands transforming into claws as he snarled viciously, all too ready to retaliate. There was still such a large part of him that held the Hunters responsible.BURLY BRUNETTE MIST HUNTER WITH A TOWER SHIELD. 80 HP

Aymet sidestepped and stabbed an already-overwhelmed life hunter in the side. Blood began to well up and turn their white coat a fine shade of red. The skull on his face was as close as he could get to grinning. "Where were we?" he asked Night and AJ casually. HP: 30/50 DMG: 12 CHARGE: 4 FEAR: 30 CONQUEST LIFE HUNTER HP: -6/60 (auto dmg -5, heals for misses) +10 FEAR FOR EVERYONE!!

Frost was taken through the portal- As so it was clear once more, students had been brought to fight for the horsemen. There was no power, just carnage, just senseless violence placing them in danger, all of them in danger. Red eyes took in the world around them. There were places to hide, places they might wait it out but it would require time, a thing so fragile in this chaotic battle field. Tybalt and Mei- He set his sights to them, running over. “It seems we had the right of it, we’ve been had once again. Promises only to end in bloodshed. Dragged into their revenge.” He spat out the word. Remi, Night- Gene and Damian. Concern laced with disgust. “Something is wrong here. Something I don’t know, but we need to get the other students away from the hunters. The humans will not separate us from them, but we need to keep the ones dragged into this safe.” His ears fell flat as screamed laced the air. “This is not a battle, it’s a butchery. No matter a crime, it is not out place to dole out judgment, much less of this kind. One slaughter does not justify another.”

The hunters crackling barrier felt like paper when the hellhounds pup scratched against its protective frame. damien gave the b*****d hunter a howl and bared his fangs before snorting at the Pricolici. "oh shush Shehk." he muttered playfully before trying to sink his teeth at the boil's jugular again. The pulsating of the black shards were becoming more painful as time passed, the moments when it was noticed were agonizing, but fleeting with the madness that was going around. As the portal opened up in front of her, Ying couldn't help but be a little blinded by the entire scene. A big battle, and little, tiny her smack dab in the center of it?
She tried to stick close to her brother, if not in proximity. At least their stringed weapons allowed them that comfortable distance, so they could fight near each other and pick targets that were far away. Ying just loved her bow.
So pick a target she did, staring straight at a burly one with a strange sun mark on his coat. So be it!

Shun was about to go seek out another moving target, when he saw some of the others bring down another. Looking at them, he frowned as the hunter was still alive. They were hurt pretty bad, but still alive.
How sloppy.
"Che."
He moved on over, sinking one of his daggers into their chest, then roughly twisted the blade. Ok. Now it was time to go back into the general fray.

She knew why Remi was shocked to see them at a disagreement, but.. even if they were hunters--even if they had attacked them many times over, the horsemen were no better. The hunters were at least fighting to protect humanity, where as the horsemen were fighting for their own greed and revenge. Part of her felt sick for wanting to side with the hunters, but the other half of her knew it was better than aiding the horsemen. Her look didn't waver as Remi mouthed his question, only her hands clenched at her sides. They could talk, or argue about this later, but he had her answer on this.
Glancing over, she too spotted the gryphon boil following in the mass attack on hunters. With Tybalt attempting to persuade Ren, she didn't dare to butt in. With any luck, he would be successful in pulling him out of this chaos.
Upon Frost's arrival her shoulders slumped. She wanted to pull all the students away from this, but.. just looking at them now.. "I don't know if we can.. there is something different about them. They've changed." That much she knew, just from looking at Gene and how she was acting before. What the hell was going on around here?
