Kiera picked herself but almost fell right over again because she still wasn't quite up to scratch. She steadied her back on the wall and brushed herself off. "Still working on it." Kiera answered, glancing to Shortstraw briefly before straightening herself out, blinking rapidly. She seriously needed some more mind discipline. But no way was she going back to those bloody Angels, they were helldrivers. Or.. not. Mai was in the room still, and padded up to her, nudging her hand with his muzzle tenderly.

*Shortstraw fixed himself and stood up also patting off the dust. He then smiled, "we'll make it work." He looked to Keria and offered her a hand up, "come on get to your feet."

Kiera took his hand and she stood up, Mai helping her also. She stood and sighed, then smiled to Shortstraw. "Yeah." Mai rubbed his head against her hip and she leaned over to pet him. "So what now?" She thought about it a second. Shortstraw was going out to fight someone... but she was in such a rage she didn't concentrate who it was. Trust herself to not think in a situation like that. Or was it just the rewiring of her brain that caused her not to think about so many things at once? She wasn't sure.

*Veria giggled and clapped, "good see i can fix anything. Which reminds me." She looked to keria, "a month after you left i finished the research on your wings... though i bet they grew back by now..." she wondered. Meanwhile Shortstraw took a shie, "well then i'll let everyone cetch up. I will be back shortly." He nodded to keria and let go of her hand, "a hour tops." He then called for asher as he walked, where she would have appeared, "we have a portal to close." He replied. Veri however smiled and nodded, bein git was just her and keria other then paradioa, "see your timing was epic. He was about to really do somthing stupid he wasn't ready for." She then looked to Keria, "at least now things will start to get back to normal."

Kiera nodded and sat on one of the chairs, shutting her eyes. Mai put his head on her lap. "Yeah, hopefully." She then looked to Veira. "My wing hasn't grown back, though. He ripped it out from the roots and nothing from it remained, so it couldn't possibly grow back that way. I did actually try looking around for someone who could help me with that. But.. it's a delicate subject and Phoenix cells are rare in itself. Not to mention no one was as advanced in medical science as you." She tilted her head back. "So did you find a solution?"
Meanwhile, Asher looked back to the door then to Shortstraw uneasily. "You really think things with her are going to be all right now? She's not worth it, Shortstraw. You'd be better off without someone like that. Honestly." Some motherly wisdom.

*Shortstraw chukkled, "sometimes i think your right Asher. But i'm nothing without her, and i rather have her then have no one... but you. And your great and all, but your Asher." He chukkled, this was the first time he had really smiled or chukkled in a long time, "and you know what. I need somthing else i would just keep killing things. And thats not who i ever wanted to be. A uncontrolled idot running around with a dagger in his hand is not suppost to be me. And i do still have a thing for her even now.*
Meanwhile Veria giggled, "Of course I did. Okay so, i was messing with your sample, and i noticed that the gean matched perfictly with dads blood, and dads wings do grow back and forth all the time. Well, they used too. I have a blood sample from before he was human. But anyways, by splicing the same gean i found that your body will still contain that gean, but it needs to be unlocked. Seems most of the gean i got are... tampered with. But all in all, i can grow back your wing naturaly. It will take time, and alittle pain. But it is possable." She smiled.

Kiera smiled and looked over to Veira. "Thankyou, sister. I'll actually have some Phoenix pride back." Although her face darkened when she remembered Yuji, Amelie, the void. And she slipped down a little in her chair, almost making Mai tumble back as he was falling asleep standing up with his head on her lap.
Asher grumbled a little and looked away. "Fine. Do what you want. I will still always be here when she's being an a**. Which is inevitable." Asher really had grown a deep hatred for Kiera in the past three years, as if she didn't hate her enough in the first place.

*Shortstraw nodded to Asher, "well good. Comeon, we need to make sure whatever comes out that portal goes back in." And with that they were off and out intot he town headed to a certain spot. The same place underground that the witches were makeing there circle was where the portal was to emarge, every 500 years.*
Meanwhile Veria nodded, "no promblem it was sorta interesting and fun to figure out. I do like a challange here and there." She nodded and looked down to Mai, "is that the same one that... i held that one day? He really got huge. And he's vary loyal already it seems."

Kiera chuckled as she looked down to Mai and petted him. "Yeah. He is unnaturally big. Shiba Inu's aren't supposed to grow this large. He's the same size as a German Shepherd." Mai licked her hand and she leaned down to kiss his nose. "He hasn't left me once since three years ago. He went everywhere with me. So yeah, it's easy to see why he's so loyal." Mai wagged his tail furiously at Kiera's attention.

*Veria made a face and then slowly reached out to see if she could pet Mai, after all she had once and it seemed okay with it. And she was a good girl now, so maybe it wouldn't be any more scard then it was before. And so she slowly place her hand on it's back to pet Mai, "It is good taht someone was there to acompiny you. I was supprized you didn't call me at least once to as about shortstraw. But then again, i guessed you didn't want us to know your location, that would have made it so shortstraw might find out." She nodded, "We still have alot to do, and i have alot to still fix, but i already see a change in shortstraw, almost his old self back. And thats a good thing to see, i was worried of him.*

Mai looked to Veira then Kiera, wagging his tail happily at all the attention he was getting. Kiera nodded slowly and fiddled with Mai's ears. "Yeah." She looked to the ceiling then leaned back in her chair again. "Not once in those three years did I stop thinking about him. After all, I did do this all for him." She sighed, shutting her eyes. Mai put his head back on her lap as a comfort for Kiera. "I did want to check up on you all. I really did. But then I wouldn't have been able to pull myself away again. I needed all that time. Otherwise I would have come back sooner." She shrugged. "I could have stayed longer, too. Technically my training from this camp wasn't done yet."

Veria nodded, "well i'm glad you came back when you did else there wouldn't have been a shortstraw, and you would have hated me." She giggled, "like i said perfict timing. And i understood your reasions all the way. I would have done the same thing. Though no offence in any way, he may be alittle hard to convince, after all that happened before with people controling, i getting in your head, your other side thing, all these things were all based on your head, and once he found other people had been, well you could understand his thinking. He may test you. He may fear your not as you were. That there will be somthing missing." She nodded, "but if it ever seems to get dule i'll step in again and fix it as i always do." She giggled and winked.

Kiera smiled as she sighed and shook her head. She then looked to Veira curiously. "What about you, though? Enough about me and Shortstraw. I'm sure we've been dragged on in these conversations too much. What do you want? How do you feel?" She raised an eyebrow, putting Veira on the spot. It was true, with all the things going on, Veira hadn't really been looking after herself as much as everyone else, and Kiera wanted to stop that.

*Veria shied, "i was afrae you may do that to me." She giggled, "as far as my helth, never better. I eat more now ue to all the battles thats been going on due to war and stuff. And as for my... issues, i still reamain that serpant not many like. But it's still better now then it was. As for shortstraw..." she hesitated, "i made sure i didn't get to close. Of course i still love him, and i will do anything for him, but your the one he chooses over the two of us, which is fair. So i will remain his other girl of course just... support again so i'm not in the way...." she nodded, "i do like being close to him however, seeing him everyday... that i have as i stated when you firt got back, i have gotten attached too... that i will miss."

Kiera sat there thinking for a couple of minutes, then she leaned forwards in her chair. "Why don't you live with us, then? I mean when we actually build another house." She chuckled. "It'd be good to have you around. And things between all of us are all right. So it won't be..awkward." Mai yapped as if in agreement. "Don't feel the need to erase yourself just because I'm back. Get as involved as you want to be." She smiled over to Veira tenderly, actually acting like a proper sister.
