 Lamb butted into the conversation. "We might be able to get at them, if there's something to climb on. And maybe some of the feed boxes have cracks?" She wriggled her nose at the hutch rabbits. Two bucks, two does. Dark in color, but, well, hutch rabbits. If they were going to break them out, they really shouldn't stay in the barn. She thought of the way here, the nooks and crannies along the path. She could escort them to safety, if necessary.

 It seemed that all the attention was back on the hutch and the rabbit within. Moving away from the container, he sniffed around a little. Talltale ambled over towards the door. Thinking that another set of ears might be good, but he sat on the inside of the doors, his back to the outside, Surveying what he could.

Coal giggled quietly as the rabbits in the cage took them wrong for a minuet. "We don't mean go. We mean leave, with us. To live free. Like a rabbit should." He nodded and then nosed at the door, wondering if he could break it. "Go get the flay. I'll try and get this door open. If two of you climb on top of each other you might be able to jump at the apples." He got down onto all fours to examine the door. He wondered if a side jump (binky) in just the right spot might pop the door free.

Althea looked towards the corner at the wooden bin. Old, maybe it had holes or could be knocked over. Mud's assessment of the apples seemed likely. It would be very hard to reach.
As for the hutch itself....
"Charcoal, see if you can get on top of the hutch, maybe we can force it open."
Amused by the tone he was taking with the doe inside, she smirked before turning to the others.
"Mud Flower? Gather up the others and focus on the food bin, see if it can be tipped or opened someh-"
She didn't finish before a shadow descended upon her.
 --------------------------------------------------- - staff post -  Awake now, everyone in the hutch was in fact, she pushed past her siblings to have a look at the wild ones, her eyes shining with glee. "Away? Yes! YES! Out, let us out of here!"Looking around her wooden box, she started to become frantic in her search, kicking at the chicken wire screen and the wood that held it in place. She didn't even notice the cat that dropped in, though she felt her brother next to her stiffen and go tharn. No time to worry about that, freedom was close at paw! ----------------------------------------- Her claws clicked almost delicately against the wooden beam before she wiggled her hindquarters and took careful aim. She would have her revenge, and it was time.
Dropping quickly with her claws out, she almost purred in joy as she felt them sink into flesh.

 His insides churned, something wasn't right. He could feel it. Impending doom loomed over all of them and all he had going for them was the fact that there was nothing outside ready to attack them.
The soft shuffle of paws behind him caused him to back out of the door to notice Talltale resting himself beside him. Undoubtedly the other buck was offering help in watching the door and Blackbirch gave a silent nod of thanks for the effort.
He sighed softly and was about to turn back to the Silf when an alarming sound from the back of the barn caught his ears. His green eyes flashed towards the group in just enough time to see the cat fall from the rafters right on top of Althea!

There was a ramp. Why, to firth there was a ramp he didn't know. Maybe a tamer and better trained rabbit at one time. That had to be it. He followed Althea's advice and without even thinking, used the ramp and the chicken wire to quickly get on top of the hutch. From the top he could see the one of the top corners of the wire was loose. Loose enough for him to get his chompers on it. If he got a hold of it and jumped he might be able to get the chicken wire free...and then the cat jumped Althea and Coal saw red. No way was his friend getting hurt! He grabbed the chicken wire, jumped and then used that momentum to jump the cat too, two birds with one stone.

Althea's roll Edit: -------------- The old doe screeched as claws ripped down her spine. Bucking wildly at her rider, Althea kicked up and down the barn, freaking out the horses as she gnashed her teeth and caused a scene. Finally sense took over and she promptly rolled on the ground, squashing the cat with her weight. Scrambling, she managed to dislodge the cat, and chunks of her back as well.
Ah, her. Althea turned to face the feline fully, her face fierce as she hunched her back and bared her teeth.
"Once wasn't enough, eh?"

 Mud had just been about to follow orders, had even turned to start gathering the others when she heard the hitch in Althea’s voice. She whirled around just in time to see the cat. She stilled for a moment watching the battle between the two. There was a ruckus going on, the horses had started to shift and become restless making a good bit of noise.
She watched as Althea rolled the cat, landing on her and dislodging her. Mud had been about to head for the bin when the cat had appeared. “Three of you try the bin! See if you can get it open, the rest of us shall deal with the cat!” She called out over the ruckus standing next to Althea her fur fluffed out and her ears laid back against her head.
“We need to take care of this quickly. The noise will attract attention to our location.” She commented softly standing beside Althea, though she was not as big as the other doe, she had a fierceness about her.

Lamb's Ear was torn about what to do. On one paw, Althea was being attacked by a very large, very angry cat. She should help. On the other, she shouldn't, because if that cat attracted more attention, she would need to not be fighting and instead help the others get to safety. That was her role in this team. That's what she should do. She rose to her haunches, standing as tall as she could, and drummed her foot for attention. If they needed to run, she wanted to make sure they could all see her and get to safety.

Blackbirch was almost overcome by tharn to even move, but he quickly regained himself. The stirring of the horses made sure of that! But that lot of noise was bound to attract some unnecessary attention, for sure!
He thought quickly, poking his head back out and looking around. In Frith's name... One heck of a Zorn was quickly falling over the teams. The dog - at this point - had gone hay-wire and alerted the Farmer. His dark figure could be seen in the Silf now and he thumped his foot rapidly upon the ground. Subtle enough for the rabbits to hear, not quite loud enough for the Farmer to catch it. He turned quickly.
"The farmer is out in the Silf now! I don't think he's after us, but we need to get out of here and fast!"
He scanned the barn quickly and felt his heart racing. The cat and Althea were head to head, maybe he could cause a distraction of sorts by attacking the cat from behind? If anything it was worth a try.
He turned to Talltale quickly, "Help Lamb's Ear get the others out. I'll help Althea." He bounded forward then, aiming to land on the cat's back, teeth at the ready if need be. Blackbirch had always been the type to put his life on the line for his warren, this would be one such proven moment...

Sandbur roared as the cat landed on Althea. She bolted towards her, fangs bared. Her mate...he died saving another rabbit from elil. It was now or never, it seemed. She was like him. She couldn't stand by while another died. She scratched wildly with her paws at the cat's back.

Standing as tall as he could, all hell was breaking loose and everything was falling down around his ears. Shaking his head, he turned slightly to peer outside, still standing on his hind feet. His forepaws pulled in to his chest, nose twitching. With all the noise it was pulling more attention to their location. Dropping to all fours, he dashed across the space and closer to the others. He took note of the cat he headed with those going after the feed bins. Something must be salvaged from all this.

Chaos. Zorn. Everything was going to hraka.
But the cat, she had to take care of the cat.
"Everyone, hurry it up! Get what you came for and get out! OUT OUT OUT!"
No sense in being quiet, not anymore, not with the horses stamping and the cat hissing in her face.
Gnashing her teeth at the pffefa, Althea lunged forward, hoping to flip her over and get a good kick into her belly.
