Aythi reached up to the bin, peering inside for Swan. "I think thats good, you can come out now." she said and smiled, watching as Raven picked up a piece of flayrah as well as the others....
... and then she heard it. A deep throaty growl and a jingling of chains. Her ears went straight up as she glanced over at where the dog was sleeping.... or no longer sleeping. Oh Frith and Inle', not now. she thoguht inwardly. "Oh please let that chain hold....." she whispered as soft as rabbitly possible, glancing back at the bin for Swan. She would't leave without him.

+Swan-Song+ Swan was relieved beyond belief when they said he could come out and not need to go to the next bin. Then he heard the loud booming barks. He heard shouting and in a panic he ran and struck the bin with his head. Looking up he saw the hole and quick as he could he jumped and wiggled out. He grabbed all that he could before looking to Aythi. He nudged and pushed her then hurried to run. He could not run well with so much in his mouth. He was small and low to the ground, with things in his mouth it tended to force him even lower which did not help his speed; yet he was fast; boundless energy and such a fast little heart he could run with rabbits twice his size and generally keep up; and then run further. "Oh Frith..." the sound of a clinking chain filled the air, keeping her voice to a stern whisper Raven whipped around to face her team, "Quickly, get Swan outta there. Everyone grab what you can carry - we have to go. NOW!"

Snakeroot cursed everything in that moment as a loud, menacing growl traveled on the winds and over to her team. The jingling of the chain was like a taunt, and she knew it couldn’t hold forever. A mere bark would draw a farmer, and then they would be done for. Moving with speed that, while still not comparable to that of a runner, was quicker than she had moved in quite possibly her life, Snakeroot took up a stance beside Anis and bumped noses with her. “I’ll keep you safe” she whispered, the rest of her team not forgotten, but pushed below Anisthary’s sole safety. They needed to move quickly, but she would await her leaders’ orders before moving on. Raven’s voice came not a moment too soon.
She gathered what she could, which wasn’t much, before falling back as Anis raced ahead. She smiled proudly, and didnt take much time to make sure the others were safe before she was at Anisthary's side once more.

Anisthary started as she heard it, the soft scratching at first. Then could that be it… no that wasn’t… the dog. Her head snapped to the side just in time to find Snakeroot bumping against her nose. She gave a soft huff at the female before bumping back. “I know, but this time my speed is good for us.” She whispered back as she looked over at Raven. “Yes.” She called grabbing up all the food she could carry. “The dog is going to wake the farmer if we aren’t careful.” She hissed out as she moved away, ahead of the others but not terribly far. She stood waiting for the others to get the led out.

- staff post claim -
They were scrambling now and he whined that he couldn't chase them. He could, however, raise holy hell.
Barking, he snapped his jaws at them, straining against his collar; so much so in fact that his house moved an inch behind him. Digging his paws into the ground he pulled at the chain, barking and huffing as he ran in place.

At Raven's word, she gathered as much of the fallen flayrah she she could. She appeared comical, what with various greens and oranges poking out of her bulging mouth, but it mattered little with life and death on the line. Keeping one cautious ear tilted towards the rowf, and the other directed at her fellow rabbits and other potential dangers, she bounded towards to fence, making sure to keep close to the group.
When the rowf began to bark, she didn't know whether to speed up or slow down. Part of her said to get the food away before the human could wake, but the other was uncertain whether everyone would be able to flee in time. Everyone was weighed down with their burden, and if the rowf didn't stop soon, everyone would be in trouble.

Aythi watched as Swan began to ran, nudging her along. She looked back to the others, Noting where Pepper and Raven were. She scooped up as much flayrah into her mouth as she could, hoping after Swan before stopping to see where the others were going. That dog was going to wake the farmer and then they would all be in a heap load of trouble. "We've got to move quickly! That dog will wake the farmer if not drag the entire farm after us!" she said through a mouth of food, thumping her foot on the ground as she scanned for a possible quick and safe rout out, or at least a route that was safe and they could creep along.

Pepper glanced around at the group holding back until Sawn was out of the bin before pushing the others forward. “Go, for the edge of the farm, as quickly as you can. If you drop food leave it. It’s not worth your life.” He commanded softly moving ahead, ushering the others along. Sure that Raven would bring up the rear again. Everyone seemed to be moving. Anisthary listened for the others and as soon as Pepper gave the go ahead she zipped off. Running at full speed across the yard, careful to keep an eye out of any trouble ahead of them; she was in the lead scouting ahead to make sure they would not run into any other dangers as they fled from the dog.

Once they were safely back at the warren, Betony was going to murder all the stupid rabbits that couldn't keep their stupid mouths shut. Acting quickly, she gathered as much flay as she could and ran after the others. The dog's barking stirred a deep fear in her, but she turned that fear into anger. Damn that dog, damn her team, damn everything!

+Swan-Song+ Swan continued to run, heart beating fast. Everything was moving so quickly he did not know what to do and the threat of the strange loud beast; and worse, what it could bring seemed to cast a shadow on them. Swan’s eyes closed, wishing he could see what would happen; willing his vision to part Inle to cheat him just once. He wanted no one to stop running; no one. (( ooc: ))

Unable to voice her concerns, Kalei stilled. She longed to be on the move, but she wouldn't waste her energy until she'd come to a decision.

The second Pepper gave the word, Anis was gone, and Snakeroot was left to flounder with the team. She was used to Anisthary running off, sure, that was an everyday sort of deal. Usually, however she knew Anis well enough to know where she was going so she could monitor her without the weight of putting an entire team at risk. She sighed against the carrots in her mouth, thankful that the adrenaline in her body was over powering the pain in her head, and she moved after Anisthary with quick, sure direction.

Aythi ran as fast as she could with what food she could carry, though she too wasn't keen on leaving anyone behind, no matter their attitude. She nodded at Pepper and moved as fast as her paws could handle.
