She looked startled as hell. He felt nice but... welp, apparently she had burned him somehow, "Are you okay? Do I have acid powers now? You felt nice, I'm sorry!"

Tense, he watched her as if she really did have acid powers. "No. It's fine." He breathed. "It's fine." He straighten up again, again rubbing his cheek, before he put his hand in his pocket and tried to be discrete with locating the hand wipes he always kept. "You just surprised me." It was nothing. Nothing at all.
"You should sleep."

"You're scaring me," It was bluntly honest, even for her. She settled back down with a sulky frown. "I didn't hurt you.. right?"

He stepped closer, but was wary of her getting touchy again. "No. You just surprised me. It's nothing. Don't get worked up or you'll set off a machine." He joked, tucking the last part of the bed but watching her one last arm. "I'm glad you are alive, so get better okay?"

She behaved now. She wasn't about to make him re-enact a face hugger scene again. Still... she got to feel it. And it felt nice. So smooth and warm and fuzzy and... oh, "I'll try." She offered a weary smile.

"Good. I'll come visit again. Maybe even bring some hot chocolate in a thermos later." A no-spill one. "You just get some sleep." He moved to close the blinds and then her tray, leaving her the juice box and candy bars before walking away to the door. "Night." He dimmed the light and walked out, closing the door before breathing out.
Reaching his hand out of his pocket, he wiped his cheek and took a moment as he rested against the door to her room.
Idiot. He sighed.
Pushing off, he headed to the cafeteria. And then? Oh, he had a Sun to speak with.

Rin perked up, she looked very interested in this promise, "Okay Melvin." She settled down more limply now before taking one last slurp of her juice before passing the heck out, her juice box tilting back against her chest and the straw still clenched in her teeth. At least it wasn't leaking everywhere now.
