Wow. I wore black nail polish and almost got ISS. >.> Wore a shirt with a rose on the back with the confederate flag ((looked like american)) and luckily I had a jacket or I wouldda had to get my 'rents to bring me a new top.

-_-; We can't wear all black or any "distracting" clothing. >< Pretty much we dress poor, preppy, or just plain like me. [/stupidness]

I hate that. I have this awesome outift, but people always ask me if I'm the "swiss miss" becuase it's blue. It makes me so mad.

Yea, I'm afraid of going out in it because some perverted person might approach me and... well think I'm something bad.. gonk that's the problem with this country, everything out of the 'ordinary' is shunned, and stuff like EGL, people take you for being from a porno or something

I get a lot of stares and rather nasty comments for the way I dress - esp from kids at school and my parents. The stares are easy to ignore, but some of the comments get to me. It's funny when I walk into the classroom though. Almost all the kids - even the teacher - go eerily silent. blaugh

.....And they wonder why I laugh on the inside....

i get that a lot. when i enter a room, it usually goes silent and everyone is trying not to laugh.

I get in trouble in school for the clothing that I wear. I think the adminstration even added a new dress code because of the way my friends and me dressed.
Even the goths in our school always used to stare at us and they used to make lots of rude comments...
things like we were probably Satanists or witches just because of the clothing we wear.
But its still fun to have people's attention on you and to get new people to start dressing like you.

POWER TO THE LOLITAS!!!!!!!!!!! biggrin blaugh

The other day I was just wearing something EGL around the house, and I got yelled at, and my dad said,"Go take that 'thing' off and put some cloths on." stare

My mom's like that. But only once did she auctually decide I look like a slut... it was my red punk dress and silver boots. She just freaked when she saw me in it, told me I looked like a slut and that I had better never come home looking like that again.

my mother is a pain in the arse. She keeps telling me I look awful, my clothes make me look fat, my hair is ridiculous, I look like a clown/lorry driver/hooligan's girlfriend/cheap doll/drug addicted tramp.
She can be really harsh, but I'm slowly winning the war -as she likes to put it, I look worse every day rolleyes xd

I'd hate to say parents just don't understand, but it just makes its self appearent

Yeah, I'm always afraid of that when I wear some of my outfits in public, but I have some really supportive friends at home. Seriously, all my gay boy friends tell me that my outfits are really adorable, so I don't feel so nervous about people getting the wrong impression. My parents are used to me wearing crazy stuff, and my mom is happy that I'm actually wearing girly things, so it's easy sailing with them. Besides, my mom has always been more worried about my location and safety than my dress habits.
