Sign Me Up For That Bobcat, Baby! The Questions 1. Where do Purewalkers come from? Purewalkers find their way to this land from the depths of the underworld due to Oyohusa and his hatred for others because he had been exiled from his village for his wrong behavior. He felt betrayed and was filled with a rage and hatred, the emotions fueled his actions and he took revenge but it wasn't enough. Oyohusa was not satisfied with his revenge on his village, and once he saw the Kawani tribe and their joy, he had to destroy it. The same malevolent spirit who he had bargained with returned to him for what it wanted in return for what it had granted Oyohusa to get revenge on his village. What it wanted was a portal to the underworld so that the pure skinwalkers could be released in all of their evil glory. Oyohusa corrupted a burial ground on the Kawani tribe land between the Eastern Swamp and the forest; he used the energy there from the graves to open the portal on an ancient tree that had grown at its center. 2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing? A purewalker is incapable of love; they are violent and aggressive towards everyone and anyone in their path. The only time that a purewalker might not be aggressive is when they are having self-control to plot and plan on how to take down the victim. Purewalkers enjoy the thrill of the hunt and the taste of blood. A purewalker is the very meaning of evil itself, they love to hunt and kill just for the blood and the thrill that the hunt brings. If a being thinks that a skinwalker loves them, it has to be a deception and part of their hunting method. To lower the walls of the victim, get the victim to trust and when they least suspect it, bloodshed occurs. There is no such emotion of love for the purewalker, period. They are both raving mad and constantly stalking for prey or carefully calculating their moves to take down/terrorize another. The Rest of It Name: Otaktay Temper: Merciless Personality: Otaktay is one that really loves to play with his food; he loves to torture and tease the victims until he can’t take the thrill of it anymore. Once he has had his fill of the excitement and becomes bored or he feels like the excitement has reached its peak, he will end the suffering of what is going on with the victim. He enjoys bloodshed, the messier it is, the better off he is and the mood he will be in. First, he starts off slow then he goes in for the kill and feeds until there is nothing left. He feeds off the energy of the fear and adrenaline while hunting, the meat alone isn’t enough to satisfy the hunger. There always has to be violence and he shows no mercy for no one or nothing that is his prey or gets in his path. Brief History: Otaktay was in the underworld fighting another purewalker just because he was bored and was tired of having no prey to go after that was equal to his status. He didn’t have any prey that could give him a challenge. Otaktay was yearning and had been yearning for a challenge for quite some time until the big white and red purewalker happened to cross his path. The bright purple and blue swirling mist that formed in front of them startled him at first but then it seemed to call to him. With one fierce strike of his paw he scarred the red and white purewalker with claw marks across his face. Otaktay confident with himself and his downed victim, he left the purewalker there for him to either get back up if he was still alive or be eaten by others. Otaktay traveled through the strange mist and appeared on the other side to be greeted by the Kawani lands and the inhabitants. His heart began to race with excitement; this land was going to fulfill his needs more than his other world ever did. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Otaktay is running around on the Kawani lands terrorizing and ravaging for food. He enjoys terrorizing and killing things just for the thrill of it and of course for nutrients. He loves to see the pain in the eyes of the victim most of all but he also enjoys the thrill of possible witnesses watching the action occur.

Sign Me Up For That Bobcat, Baby! The Questions 1. Where do Purewalkers come from? Skinwalkers can come from any type of soquili, but they wear the pelts of other creatures on their backs and head, making them stand out. The pelt can not be removed though, since it is a part of the cursed soquili. Unlike the other skinwalkers, the purewalkers come from the demon tree that was cursed by Oyohusa, which is the portal to the underworld. 2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing? They.. do not love because all they know is hatred.
The Rest of It Name: Temper: Personality: Kokuyoseki is not the one that you would want to meet - like ever. She is not trustworthy and deceitful, only caring about issues that benefit her. Talk to her, she would find some way to be against you even if you have the kindest of hearts. She is like on fire. She is always ready to fight and to kill, whether for fun or defense. Brief History: Kokuyoseki never knew her parents. None. The first thing she remembered of her childhood was almost getting killed by an adult stallion. A young mare saw that was about to happen and she defended the filly, since the mare was the daughter of the stallion, causing him to stop. The two became very close, that was until Ko learned who she really was after killing the mare by accident. She fled to the wilderness to be alone and exiled from the lands, venturing around, becoming a wandering spirit, wanting to not see anyone now. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? She is venturing around the badlands, trying to find the perfect place to settle down.

They come from the demon tree and can never stop the curse. 2. Where do skinwalkers get their pelts and can they take them off? The pelt is the creature that the soquili killed and they can never take it off because it is binded to them.
The Rest of It Name: Temper: Personality: Jiyu is hard to explain. He is hard to come close to due to his curse, but would try to please the others of his kind. Brief History: Jiyu was once a loving and carefree soquili, that was until he heard of the powers that the purewalkers carried and grew an interest in the breed, later learning that soquili were able to become permanent cursed skinwalkers too. How Were They Cursed? He was willing to become cursed, and killed a cat for the goal of becoming a cursed. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? No. They would not remember their previous life because it is drowned by evil. 2. If a cursed skinwalker is reunited with his old family or loved ones, what sort of reaction would we expect to see from the skinwalker? The skinwalker would think about eating his/her next meal.
The Rest of It Name: Temper: Personality: He is here solely to pretend to become someone's friend only for his benefit. What does he plan? Well, to use them one by one and kill them just for pleasure. Brief History: He does not remember his history, but remembers the odd feelings he got from his first kill. How Were They Cursed? He was tempted by another skinwalker. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? He is like a guarddog standing guard on his territory. Meet him, you'll either have to please him or die.

Sign Me Up For One of Two Evils! The Questions 1. Where do Cursed Skinwalkers Come from and is there any way to stop the Curse or redeem them afterwards? A once kind shaman, twisted by darkness, made a deal with an evil spirt in order to exact revenge for what he considered to be wrongs committed against him. The spirit taught him how to create corpse powder which is the source of the curse. It's a one way ticket, there is no going back, no redemption, and no desire even if it were possible. Once cursed, all the was good or decent would be burned away, leaving behind only evil. 2. Where do skinwalkers get their pelts and can they take them off? A freshly cursed Soq will kill the first creature it comes in contact with and wear its skin, melding with it and taking on that animal's form. The skin, like the curse, cannot be removed. The Rest of It Name: Promece Shirnay Temper: Vengeful Personality: Vain and petty, it doesn’t take much for her to feel she’s been insulted. Once, her wrath would have passed quickly without much damage, but since the curse any hint of forgiveness was burned out. Now, like Snow White’s evil stepmother, Promece can’t stand for anyone to be praised above her and she holds a grudge until the end of time. And that’s for SMALL slights. Brief History: She had a sister, once. A clumsy, energetic younger sister that was adored by all, except for Promece. As they grew up, jealousy began to cloud every moment she spent with her younger sister. It wasn’t so much that the sister was prettier than her, it was the fact that she managed to draw attention wherever she went. Attention that Promece felt belonged to her. Promece started to pull pranks on the younger sister, which gradually escalated to more dangerous stunts until finally she accidently scarred her younger sister permanently. Horrified at what she’d done, at what she’d allowed her jealousy to drive her to, she fled her herd… How Were They Cursed? Promece was always a somewhat shallow creature. She didn’t handle negative emotions well, and so when jealousy drove her to harm her sister, the guilt of it was more than she could handle. She sought some way, any way, to rid herself of the self loathing and remorse she felt, until she came across a shaman that promised she would never feel such ugly emotions again. She would never feel bad about her actions. Both shallow, and not too bright, Promece didn’t look too deeply at the shaman or the offer. He kept his promise… she never felt guilty for what she did. She didn’t regret the hideous scarring or damage she caused to her sister when she returned home. Instead, she reveled in it. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Preening, mostly. Occasionally, when she’s bored, she’ll search for someone to praise her, or to destroy for not properly appreciating her beauty. Sign Me Up For One of Two Evils! The Questions 1. Does a cursed skinwalker ever feel regret or remorse about their 'new' life after they change? Not at all. They live for the bloodshed, as if nothing else had ever mattered to them. 2. If a cursed skinwalker is reunited with his old family or loved ones, what sort of reaction would we expect to see from the skinwalker? That would depend entirely on the skinwalker. If the skinwalker is of the manipulative variety, then he might turn the family against each other, causing emotional scarring before killing them. If he’s more of the “kill, maim, destroy!” mindset, then it might be nothing more than a bloodbath. Regardless, it wouldn’t end well for the family friends. Once cursed, all caring emotions would be wiped from the skinwalker. The Rest of It Name: Dunamis Lazaro Temper: Manipulative Personality: On the surface, he wouldn’t seem like a skinwalker. Always with an easy smile and a light hearted tone, Dunamis would come off as a flirt, if one ignored the pelt that covered him and the vicious gleam to his gaze. Anyone foolish enough to mistake his seemingly friendly attitude for harmlessness deserved whatever devious plan he had in store for them. Dunamis loves games, loves manipulating others to play his games and eventually self destruct, destroying themselves completely. Brief History: Before the curse, he was a bit of a stud. He flitted from filly to filly like a butterfly in a garden, flirting and laughing with anyone he found. He loved puzzles and games, even before the curse, of course then he had turned his brilliant mind toward figuring out a heart’s desire and what made people tick, not because he wanted to rip them down but rather because he couldn’t find a more complicated puzzle than the mind of a stranger. Of course, his attention always waned once he understood his current partner. How Were They Cursed? He strove to understand the wrong soq, foolish in his youth and thinking he was immortal. He thought he could escape before he was caught, wiser than he had been. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? He would likely be looking for playthings. The sweeter, more pure the toy, the longer he’ll play with it, but in the end he always wins.

Sign Me Up For That Bobcat, Baby! The Questions 1. Where do Purewalkers come from? From Oyohusa, a corrupted Shaman. Darkness entered his heart and he was exiled from his people. Making a deal with an evil spirit, he was made into the first skinwalker. As part of the deal, he opened up a portal in a cursed graveyard to let through the Purewalkers---creatures that were born of pure evil. 2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing? No. To break it down really simple they are sociopaths, they do not form bonds--they don't feel love or remorse. There are no exceptions to these rules. I phrase it that way because the only way a purewalker will be around other purewalkers is if they share a common goal and it will last a very short time--therefore I do not consider it a bond but rather almost a bussiness transaction. The Rest of It Name: Raktabija Temper: Annihilative Personality: Raktabija is without mercy. She does not work with others nor does she tolerate anything well. She revels in solitude. She has no dreams of raising armies or taking over the Kawani lands or any such stupid or organize notion. She believes partially (after her namesake) that she is indestructible. Each drop of her blood is regenerative rather than life-taking--this is the only reason that she has conceded to procreate at all. Each piece of her that is out there floating around in the world is one more link that ties her to living, another string that has to be cut before she can be killed. She will not associate with others wilingly except for procreation which should be quick and dirty. He should be gone soon thereafter, or she would try to eat or kill him. Brief History: When Raktabija surveyed the Kawani lands, she was angry. It had taken awhile to get here--and there was nothing but the trilling of birds. She hated the sounds of peace and determined herself to bring chaos to the world around her. She hates the Kawani lands, as she hates all things, and has decided that the best course of action is to cause destruction and mayhem wherever she goes and by whatever means necessary. At one point in her early life in the Kawani, she decided to procreate. The male left shortly after. The months went by slowly, and she hated each moment of it more than the last. It was hard to get food and she hated the way her body was no longer lithe. Finally, she gave birth to the foals and placed them in the baskets. Despite hating them, she was determined to raise them to bring destruction but when their baskets opened her rage overwhelmed her. She killed all three of her foals and ate them. Angry with herself after the act for killing the links that would make her immortal, she vowed that the next time she bore foals she would leave them to fend for themselves--to make them stronger and in order to allow the beings who would make her immortal to live and tie her to the Kawani lands. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? To sum it up very briefly, she loves to kill--typically outright. But once in a fortnight, she has a "game" where she incapictates her kill and waits for it to revive before she hunts it down and starts devouring the bodies while they're still alive. She will create mayhem for the sake of mayhem, she hates silence. (Raktabaji is an asura/demon that every drop of his blood was shed created another of himself. Through this way, he was immortal.)

Sign Me Up For One of Two Evils! The Questions 1. Where do Cursed Skinwalkers Come from and is there any way to stop the Curse or redeem them afterwards? As part of Ohyousa's deal of revenge, he then created corpse powder which would curse normal soquili into monstorous beings without remorse or compassion. Once cursed, they can never be cured 2. Where do skinwalkers get their pelts and can they take them off? They are compelled to kill the first familiar they can and wear the pelt. It then binds to them, and they are forever unable to remove it. The Rest of It Name: Libitina Temper: Ritualistic Personality: Quiet and thoughtful, she is prone to not speaking. She will only tolerate being around walkers that are bigger and more powerful than her. She will act slightly submissive and at the first chance strike when she's lulled them into thinking she won't or get away from the area as fast as possible. When her prey meets her, she is often thought to be mute. Brief History: She remembers nothing of the time before she was cursed. Her quiet, rather reserved (for a skinwalker nature) seems deceiving. She leaves a trail of bodies in her wake that is staggering. The only remnant of her old characteristics before cursing is her urge to do things just so, it is this reason that she's so careful with the preparation of her food. Each soquili or human is hunted down without emotion. When she can, she incapacitates the prey rather than kills it. She has found that in the aging method she prefers that it's better if her food is buried alive. She then leaves the bodies for the perfect timing of one week, and then returns to reclaim her snack which is aged just perfectly for her palette. How Were They Cursed? Libitina has no recollection of how or what happened. It is as if her life began the moment she was cursed. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? (Does not have to be long. Mostly curious about what they might be up to these days.) Basically supplying her need for food. It takes awhile so she's constantly doing it. She also has a certain taste for teenage humans, which are more difficult to get. However, amongst her other interests is graveyards--which she likes to dig up for obvious reasons. Like all skinwalkers, she does cause chaos and havoc just because--but her joy is the sadistic preserving of her food. Lately, she's been experimenting with more ways to condition the meat including keeping the victim alive as long as possible while eating only sections.

Sign Me Up For That Bobcat, Baby! The Questions 1. Where do Purewalkers come from? They come from the underworld, transported through the 'demon tree' which is located in the Indian Burial Ground;cursed by Oyohusa. Oyohusa had bargained with a sinister spirit and upon sharing with him a secret that allowed him to draw magic from the dead and turn it in to 'corpse powder' which would then allow the corruption to enter his own body, the spirit wanted him to open a portal to the underworld so that Purewalkers may travel through the Kawani. 2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing? A Purewalker may never find love or form a close bond with another due to their twisted nature. They're completely evil, forming a different shape between one Purewalker to another and often leave destruction in their trail. Even those who are cursed often see their past lovers or loved ones as enemies once turned. The Rest of It Name: Aino ( Meaning 'the only one' in Finnish. In the Finnish epic the 'Kalevala' this is the name of a girl who drowns herself when she finds out she must marry an old man ) Temper: Relentless Personality: Believing the world to be her toy and nothing more, she feels she has the right keep or exterminate any creature living among her beautiful world as she see's fit. Being feared by many has made her feel invincible, at first sight others flee for their life and this supreme feeling of power has drilled the idea in to her mind that she is their Queen, thus why the world has become her playground and in turn that gives her the right to play God within it. Whereas other Purewalkers have the instinct to chase and kill or toy with their victims, Aino doesn't. When she is angry, her rage will inflict the damage on the closest thing, whether it is an object or another living creature it doesn't matter to her. She is lazier than normal PW's and whereas she can be bitter at times in her lonely lifestyle, it is only when she chooses to kill or warn a certain living thing she will set out to do so;if it can be avoided then... Chances are she will give them an order to earn their right to serve her and prove themselves worthy of living in her land until she grows bored of their presence and then eventually does the deed. Another Purewalker in her land is a gigantic no-no. This drives her crazy, seeing them as a threat to her reign, she will give them the opportunity to submit themselves to her as her underlings and if that isn't established her own way then she will strike for the kill;fighting to the death if need be. Brief History: When entering the Kawani Aino was met with a wondrous sight. A ghastly landscape, thick of swampy terrain and clawed tree's. She wandered through admiring the sinister shapes it created reminding her of the place she had travelled from only this time she was free to do as she pleased. It soon came to her attention that most creatures took careful approach to her kind, often running till they could no longer run, breeding fear for her presence. She took a number of captives at first, demanding them to serve her and threatening to end their pitiful existence if they didn't until finally she removed them from her sight permanently and continued on ruling the land in her own way. She had encountered many PW's and SW's and whereas the fights were brutal, almost costing her own life at times, it resulted in the only factor she could put it down to... She was more determined and fit to rule this land than any other creature and with that motivation driving her forward, she continued to do just that. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Aino travels across the land, making sure everything is in order and that she is pleased with how it is being used and presented. If she feels it is being taken for granted or misused in any way she searches and picks out those who she believes is guilty and punishes them. She doesn't stay in one place for too long, sometimes she will laze in a particular area and rest but once she regains the energy and the will to scout once again, she is immediately back on the trail. The Purewalker generally loves living in solitude but the loneliness does become an entity, brooding it's own shape after time and this drives her to take in a poor vessel to do her bidding and keep her entertained for a short while till this overbearing feeling goes away again.

Sign Me Up For One of Two Evils! The Questions 1. Does a cursed skinwalker ever feel regret or remorse about their 'new' life after they change? While it is possible for a cursed skinwalker to experience conflicted feelings about their new-found brutality, they are in the minority. Even skinwalkers that do sometimes have moments of clarity will still always be pulled back into the murderous and evil ways of their breed. 2. If a cursed skinwalker is reunited with his old family or loved ones, what sort of reaction would we expect to see from the skinwalker? If they are a new skinwalker they might hesitate and experience some confusion, but they will retain none of the love they used to feel for their family. Memories they have of their family might even be contorted and warped after their cursing. They would be very likely to attack and attempt to kill their family, especially if their memories were destroyed by the skinwalker curse. The Rest of It Name: Cassaryl Temper: Twisted Personality: Cassaryl is as intelligent as he is warped. He thirsts for knowledge, as he always did before the skinwalker curse fell upon him. Now, however, his longing for knowledge has a decidedly brutal twist. He likes to cut creatures open while they still draw breath, marveling at the inner workings of their bodies as they grow hoarse from screams of agony. Before he was cursed he studied herbs of healing. Now he studies poison. His cunning mind is never still, as restless as he is on nights when the moon is full. His intellect is his pride. Losing his intellect is his greatest fear. More and more often Cass is pulled suddenly into a vortex of hatred and destruction. He loses all coherency in these moments and becomes nothing but a whirling beast of chaos and destruction. His heart is full of the blackest evil even when not gripped in these moods, but he fears his own fury all the same. He fears that he is losing his mind and that soon he will be nothing more than a slavering animal. This terror drives him in an urgent goal. He wishes to stop the destruction of his mind, whatever the cost. Brief History:Once Cassaryl was a great scholar. He was highly respected in his herd and delighted in both the acquisition of ancient knowledge and new. He could never settle on just one specialty. He loved to learn about everything from healing to astronomy. He even attempted to learn the arcane art of predicting the future but in the end decided it was probably all a sham. He even sometimes would go among the humans and watch them as they told their stories and worked their crafts. Even if he couldn't understand them, he was fascinated by them all the same. He was a little too shy to have a mate, but he loved his family and was entirely content with the world. Unfortunately for Cass, this all changed when he was cursed into a skinwalker. How Were They Cursed? Cass had gone away from his herd on an errand that day. He meant to be back well before nightfall, but encountered an injured bobcat on the way back. It was a deserted location in a part of the forest that most soquili avoided, but Cass was determined to stay for as long as the bobcat needed him. He tended to the hurt bobcat past nightfall and the stars were bright overhead by the time the bobcat was finally resting in peaceful sleep. That was when Oyohusa found him. The poor bobcat who Cass had spent those long hours healing was his first prey. It barely had time to even wake before he was tearing into it. It wasn't long before he was wearing its fresh and bloody pelt on his back. It was the dead of night by then, hours and hours past when he said he would return to his herd. He returned then, of course. They would be missing him... but not for long. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? He will be searching desperately for a cure to his madness. He doesn't seek to lift the skinwalker curse, he only tries to stop the relentless march from ingenuity to madness. He goes from herd to herd, seeking out the wisest soquili. He looks for shamans, scholars, sages, and elders. He asks each one he finds if they might know how to help him save his sanity. None of them have ever furnished him with a cure, and none ever will. He kills them when he's finished, and a little bit more of his mind and memory slip away each time he does. He fears that he will some day lose himself entirely to the rampaging beast within, and most likely, he is right...

Sign Me Up For One of Two Evils! The Questions 1. Where do Cursed Skinwalkers Come from and is there any way to stop the Curse or redeem them afterwards? They come from the cursed graveyard where they have been corrupted by Corpse powder, once cursed there is no return, they will never again be what they were. 2. Where do skinwalkers get their pelts and can they take them off? From the first victim after being cursed, they are a permanent part of the Soquili and can never be taken off. The Rest of It Name: Trinity Temper: Fanatical Personality: Trinity is a fanatic in the worst possible way, because of the way the curse tainted the memories of her previous life Trinity believes that she was put here for a divine purpose..to rid the world of the 'unworthy' Unfortunately that works out to be just about anyone she runs across. Trinity believes that her lust to kill is a gods way of telling her who is unworthy to continue living. Brief History: Trinity grew up in a very spiritual herd, her herd believed in various gods and considered service to the gods to be the most worthwhile path in life that one could take. Trinity was poised to become the next priestess of the herd and had been carefully educated and groomed for such a role for most of her foal hood...until the curse which twisted her past memories and spiritual beliefs into something wicked and demonic. How Were They Cursed? Her herd angered the passing shaman with their fanatical beliefs and in typical vengeful form Trinity was cursed as the price for causing such grief. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Seeking out and killing the 'unworthy'

Sign Me Up For One of Two Evils! The Questions 1. Does a cursed skinwalker ever feel regret or remorse about their 'new' life after they change? My intial reaction was no they cannot. However, the guide states that a cursed walker can feel "tormented" by the evil that has taken them over but they would be powerless to resist it and would wind up succumbing to it anyways. 2. If a cursed skinwalker is reunited with his old family or loved ones, what sort of reaction would we expect to see from the skinwalker? Depending on the skinwalker, he or she may not recognize them as family or their hate may be so much for them that they reserve particularly bloody deaths. Family or friends would be treated the same if not worse than their other victims. The Rest of It Name: Adramalech [(Samarian) devil. Commander of Hell. Wierius' chancellor of infernal regions. In Assyria where he was worshipped, children were supposedly burned at his alters.] Temper: Sacrificial Personality: Adramalech was born cruel and twisted. All of his life, he was cruel to his family and his sister who loved him despite it. He was disappointed that she would not share in his "fun". He did not love her, but despised that she was "broken" and unlike him. Completely selfish, he's always had an urge to control and manipulate fire. Something in it draws him in. Brief History: Born wicked, Adramalech decided to become cursed. He coaxed his twin sister along with him though she was not evil. Tricking her, he got her cursed along with him. Both of them made their first kill of bobcats. Andramalech had not anticipated that he would have no connection to his sister anymore--he had thought that they would reek havoc as a team, that she would finally be fun. However, his sister did not remember him at all and any connection he once had with her was severed by the curse. They parted ways as strangers--he with the intention of killing her if he found her again in anger for his failed experiment. With a penchant for fire, Adramalech likes to set fires as burnt offerings to himself. He feels that the fire draws out the evil in himself so that he can hunt down those trying to escape his sacrifice. How Were They Cursed?Adramalech approached the shaman Ohyousa and asked to be cursed along with his sister. His sister had been tricked into coming and did not realize what was happening. He saw being cursed as a fufillment of his evil destiny and as a way to "fix" his sister. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? (Does not have to be long. Mostly curious about what they might be up to these days.) The usual stuff. Setting fires as burnt offerings to himself, hunting down all those who flee his fires. Snacking on anything that suits him. And searching for the sister he once had in order to kill her--his transformation has transformed is displeasure of her into rage. He must kill her if it's the last thing he does.

Quote: Sign Me Up For That Bobcat, Baby! The Questions 1. Where do Purewalkers come from? Oyohusa turned evil and made a bargain with a malicious spirit: more corruption/power for a favor. Once Oyohusa's revenge was finished, the spirir demanded the favor and demanded that Oyohusa use his abilities and new knowledge to open a door for the Soquili Skinwalkers to come into the world. 2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing? They are not. They cannot feel love and cannot lifemate. They are pure evil and have no problem with their vicious natures. The Rest of It Name: Iezabel Temper: Vindictive Personality: She bears grudges quite easily and will never forget them. She might go years before she claims her revenge, but any who cross her will feel it in some way. She is patient, and will always go for what she believes will hurt the most. It might not be actual harm to the one who hurt her, she might wait until they have baskets and harm them in some way. She enjoys terrorizing others. Brief History: She does not remember much of her foalhood and dismisses it as unimportant. If she can't remember it, it was obviously not something she needs to worry about. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? She is mostly wandering, staying in one place or other to terrorize those that live there before moving on. Quote: Sign Me Up For One of Two Evils! The Questions 1. Where do Cursed Skinwalkers Come from and is there any way to stop the Curse or redeem them afterwards? They are cursed with corpse powder and there is no way to stop the curse or redeem them. Once they are cursed it is permanent. 2. Where do skinwalkers get their pelts and can they take them off? They are compelled by the curse to kill an animal and take its pelt. Once this is done, the pelt may never be removed. The Rest of It Name: Janaira Temper: Vengeful Personality: She is all about luring in the unsuspecting. Those who don't know about Skinwalkers are her favorite targets. She loves to get them alone and then frighten the living daylights out of them. She hopes that one day she will be able to find the siblings that tormented her as a foal and young adult and take her revenge. Brief History: Before Janaira was cursed, she was the youngest of nine siblings. She was the most naive of all of them and was always the one her eldest siblings tormented with scary stories. When she grew older, their malicious torment of her grew worse, until one day she became injured by running from what she thought was a monster, but was really her oldest brother disguised as one. It was then that she left her family, becoming bitter and cruel. How Were They Cursed? She took the corpse powder willingly, wanting to exact her revenge on her siblings and others who torment the young and naive. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? She finds cruel Soquili who uses the same stories and tortures on the young. Sometimes she just scares and torments others for fun and to stay in practice. Quote: Sign Me Up For One of Two Evils! The Questions 1. Does a cursed skinwalker ever feel regret or remorse about their 'new' life after they change? Not really. Once they are cursed, they are evil to their very core and there is nothing that will change them back. It's possible they could feel conflicted, but it doesn't make them any less evil. 2. If a cursed skinwalker is reunited with his old family or loved ones, what sort of reaction would we expect to see from the skinwalker? Nothing good. Probably hatred, a desire to be violent against them. There will never be love between them again as Skinwalkers are incapable of love. The Rest of It Name: Aresh Temper: Infuriated Personality: He hates everyone and everything. He believes that every single Soquili is out for themselves and has an ulterior motive. Even before he became cursed, he had issues with trusting others. Brief History: He watched his youngest sister, the one who was his twin, get tormented by their older siblings. Despite how many times he tried to get them to stop, or to tell her that they were never sincere when they promised to never do it again, none of them listened to him. Each and every time he was proven right and they still wouldn't listen to him, Aresh grew angrier and angrier. When his older brother finally drove his twin away, Aresh left soon after, hoping to find her and keep her safer than he could before. Instead, when he did find his sister, he found her cursed and cruel. She wasn't his baby sister anymore, she was an evil creature. This was the last straw for poor Aresh's sanity. His mind broke then and he became insane with anger. How Were They Cursed? After he'd found his sister, Aresh was not in his right mind. He was offered the corpse powder and took it without hesitation. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? He is following the train of his thoughts, which are not exactly in a straight or coherent line. He goes where his hooves take him and once there, he can't control his anger. Anything can set him off and when it happens, there is no stopping his wrath until he runs out of steam, leaving a savage path of destruction in his wake.

Sign Me Up For That Bobcat, Baby! The Questions 1. Where do Purewalkers come from? Purewalkers come from an ancient tree that acts as a gate between the underworld and the Kawani lands. Oyohusa and the 'dark spirit' created this gate from an ancient burial ground. 2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing? No. Skinwalkers do not feel love and they cannot life mate. Occasionally they can gather in small groups to complete a specific task but it does not happen often and only for short periods of time. The Rest of It Name: Keres (Meaning- Greek myth name of female "death-spirits," daughters of Nyx, who are the sources of evil. Ker is the singular form and the name of a goddess of violent death.)[she reminded me of a ghost]Temper: Spine-Chilling Personality: Keres thinks of herself in the highest regard. Most would consider her Arrogant and Conceited, yet she knows that their opinions do not matter, only their servitude and their fear. Other than being completely self-centered, she is domineering and Callous as any pure walker should be. If she deems a creature is unworthy of living, she kills them. If they can prove that they deserve their breath, she might just let them live if it suits her well enough. Life is a game for the mare and she is the winner while all others are her pawns. The creatures of the Kawani lands live only to serve her or die. Keres’ favorite game is playing the poltergeist. She enjoys scaring her victims to within an inch of their lives before finishing them off. Sometimes she may take days to scare them or even weeks, other times only a matter of hours. Fear is the best spice and she knows how to cook with it. Brief History: Keres came to the Kawani lands as a foal with her sister. She had never known her mother or her father and she had never cared to. As far as she was concerned, family was for the weak and they would only hold her back and steal her prey. It was this view and her lust for blood that drove her to kill her own sister. The filly had been a weakling, not strong enough to be worthy of living. Nor was Keres willing to share these lands or her prey with the mare. Leaving her sister’s body as a warning to all who might see, Keres wandered the land until she found a secluded glade in the middle of the forest. Far enough from civilization that she would not be bothered and yet close enough that she could strike terror into the hearts of the innocent and the weak. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Recently Keres attacked a village not too far from her home. The villagers and their soquili were upset by the attack and tried to hunt her down. However, the mare eluded their attacks and has taken on the role as the village poltergeist. She lurks around in the shadows only showing glimpses of herself to warn the others. Occasionally she’ll haul off a victim just to keep up the level of fear.

Sign Me Up For That Bobcat, Baby! The Questions 1. Where do Purewalkers come from? After Oyohusa bargained with dark spirits to give him power, they came to him and told him to use his shamanic abilities, along with the knowledge he was given by them to open a channel to allow the original skinwalkers to come into this world - these being the Pure walkers. This 'gate' is bound to an ancient tree located in a burial ground Oyohusa corrupted. It remains open. 2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing? No. No skinwalker can feel love. Even if a soquili felt love before they were cursed; when they take that step they forget every part of themselves. Lovers become hated and so on. Some skinwalkers may form hunting packs - but it's usually in pairs or a small group and they often don't last very long. A skinwalker may have a preferred partner; but it is not out of love or any feeling. The Rest of It Name: Uewatsu. A name she was not given at birth. For years she went nameless. Only in her teenage years did she realise it was the one thing she heard whenever she killed. The last thing her victims whispered before she tore out their throats. 'Uewatsu. Death.' Temper: Blood thirsty. Personality: Uewatsu hunts alone. Lives alone. Is alone. That's how it has always been and that's how she likes it. Company to her means competition, a victim or a meal and with a strong desire to be the strongest and most vicious walker paired with her blood lust, Uewatsu doesn't make for good company. Killing is a game to her. Its something she enjoys. She likes to play with her food, give them false hope before taking it away along with their miserable lives. She might let her prey go, letting them believe she's gotten bored and left them only to return days later to finish what she started. Not that she ever left. She was always watching, silent as ever. The smell of blood sends her into a frenzy. She'll not stop until she's tasted it. Until she's seen every last drop. It doesn't matter how long it takes her. How she goes about it; as long as the end is as she desires. She prefers children as her victims. Their cries, their helplessness, the fact that one is never enough. At times, when she's particularly hungry, she may trap a family and make them choose who gets eaten first. Almost always the father volunteers and every time she leaves him until last; making him watch as she devours his family. Uewatsu like to collect trophies from all her kills. Bones, jewelry, tufts of fur/hide; whatever remains after she's finished tearing them apart. She keeps most of these in a cave deep in the mountains. Brief History: She had siblings once. Not that she cared for them. But she was born with them to a mother more twisted than she. Freshly emerged from their baskets, their mother turned on them. Run, she had told them. The last alive survives. Uewatsu had run as fast as she could. The screams came quickly and Uewatsu couldn't help but smile. She was the strongest, the fittest. She was thankful to her mother. How else would she have known her potential if she hadn't tested it as soon as she could? Of course, her real test was besting the woman who had tested her. It wasn't hard. She was a lot older and Uewatsu had spent years and years practicing. One swipe to her throat and her mother was drowning in her own blood. She thought she saw her smile, before she died. Pride, she guessed. Perhaps her mother was feeling a little sentimental and wanted to form a pack with her daughter. That's what got her killed. From then on, nothing has coming in Uewatsu's way. She is ruthless, powerful and forever hungry. She's destroyed entire families, entire villages without so much as a blink of an eye. But it's beginning to get a little boring.. She wants bigger game.. Something that will really get her blood pumping.. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Uewatsu has just noticed a herd at the bottom of the mountain she's made her home and is wondering how many children live there and how many she can kill in five minutes..

Sign Me Up For That Bobcat, Baby! The Questions 1. Where do Purewalkers come from? Purewalkers come from the underworld though a gate that is an ancient tree in a burial ground that was created by Oyohusa. 2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing? Purewalkers never fall in love or create any sort of attachment to another. They are vicious and cruel creatures of pure evil. The Rest of It Name: Zyanya ("Forever, Always") Temper: Malicious Personality: Like her name Zyanya believes herself to be ever lasting. She tolerates no weakness from her own body and strives to keep herself perfect. This also includes her mind. She is cold and calculating and does not tolerate others in what she considers to be HER territory. She has done in males of her own type out of spite for thinking her weak because she's female. She has never allowed herself to be used by any male and often goes out of her way to mask the scent of her times to avoid what she considers such weak behavior. Brief History: Zyanya can't remember when she arrived in the Kawani lands and for this reason she believes herself to be an eternal force to be reckoned with. She has spent most of her time alone and the few times she has ventured out with packs of others like her she has soon left declaring them all fools and braggarts. She believes in destruction not on a large scale but on a small personal one, and has on more than one occasion targeted solitary families and destroyed them slowly and painfully. She wants the survivor's (for there is always one) pain to be as long lasting as she is. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Hunting for her next family. There is nothing more satisfying to her than the hunt, the chase and the kill.

Sign Me Up For One of Two Evils! The Questions 1. Where do Cursed Skinwalkers Come from and is there any way to stop the Curse or redeem them afterwards? Oyohusa uses corpse powder to curse soquili, turning them into skinwalkers. They can not be redeemed and there is no way to reverse the curse. Even if their personality from before tries to take over again, it would never work. Their evil natures always win out in the end. 2. Where do skinwalkers get their pelts and can they take them off? They wear the skin of the first creature that they kill and they become bonded to their bodies, never able to be taken off again, though they CAN turn into the creature that they killed. The Rest of It Name: Usha – (Meaning - Female Hindi myth name of a demon princess, daughter of heaven, and sister of night, meaning "dawn.") Temper: Wicked Personality: Usha used to be a kind and quiet mare, yet once she was cursed she became something much different altogether. Her hatred for her ‘stepmother’ far greater than it ever was, Usha has become obsessed with destroying other usurper mares and stallions. She will go out of her way to specifically seek out these soquili and take them as her victims. It is her old personality’s way of coping with the evil of the new one. Her mind fragmented, most refer to the mare as crazy and insane. When she speaks she often forgets what she was saying and has constant mood swings. Usha is extremely manipulative and knows how to get what she wants, if she can even remember what she wants that is. Brief History: As a young filly, Usha was loving and kind as any other foal. She behaved well and loved her family with all of her heart. Her childhood was a happy and safe one. Yet one day, her mother died of sickness and her father took on a new mate. Usha felt betrayed that her mother could so easily be tossed aside yet she still loved her father. However, the new mate of his was unkind to Usha. She constantly put the mare down and scorned her. Finally, she had had enough. Tired of the constant criticism, Usha ran away, leaving her ‘family’ as far behind her as she could. It was then that he found her. After she became a skin walker, Usha returned to the place that she had once called home and destroyed every semblance of a family that she had ever known. She relished in killing her father’s mate, the mare who had made her life a living hell. The blood lust took her and consumed her, and before she knew it she had killed her father and her siblings as well. When the beast within her had had its fill of blood, Usha stared into the dead eyes of her family and screamed in horror at what she had done. The sight of her father’s body cracked her sanity and sent her into a crazed madness. How Were They Cursed? After running from her home, Usha ran into a strange man with an even stranger powder. He had offered her unbelievable power, and Usha, upset as she was, believed him and willingly took what he offered. What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Currently Usha is on a bloody rampage and most of the time she doesn’t seem to even remember who she is or who she used to be. All that she has become is a creature of blood and terror. She strikes fear into the hearts of her victims and feeds on those who are weaker than she is. In time the monster inside of her will start to form into a more coherent beast, but for the moment her mind has yet to put back the pieces and she remains insane.

Sign Me Up For That Bobcat, Baby! The Questions 1. Where do Purewalkers come from? They come from Oyohusa, who was originally a kind shaman. Though the darkness turned his once kind heart evil and he was chased from his village. He made a deal with a nasty spirit to gain power and became the first Skinwalker. He shortly took his revenge out on his old village and upon discovering the Kawani Village the spirit that turned him into a Skinwalker returned and instructed the old Shaman to open up a portal for which the original 'purewalkers' could come out of the underworld and into the real world. He currupted a burial ground, the Cursed Graveyard, and set loose these terrible monsters onto an unsuspecting world. 2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing? Purewalkers never make any close bonds or form relationships. Purewalkers are absolutely vicious, it's dangerous for them to be in groups and they can rarely take orders from other purewalkers. Messing with a purewalker will always lead to a fight and breeding with a purewalker isn't exactly the best time in the world either. They are born vicious and have no room in their hearts for love. The Rest of It Name: VaniTemper: VindictivePersonality: Vani is evil and vindictive creature she cares only for her will being. anyone that crosses her path is likely to end up hurt or bleeding. She only kills when she is bored or hungry she likes to lay in wait and stalk her pray night after night to add terror to them to they either are totally afraid of the dark or they surrcome to it. She doesn't care for others of there kind and more and likely will fight with them and other evil soquili because she is nuts and believes that he blood is better then there . What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Vani likes the area by the lake she stalks her pray there. She does however travel to areas around the village only because there are easy pray there and it makes her happy that she stalk and scary some of them. She is always on the hunt and aware of everything around her. She likes to wait for the perfectible victim that the bravest of them all to play with.
