Orin stepped forward and bowed his head respectfully. "Most esteemed king, we would not ask this of you, but for the fact of a common enemy. They've killed all of our soldiers and horses and taken one very dear to us - Colonel Cosgrove of the Southern Isles's son." Orin was pleased to see the look on the king's face change as he heard who had been taken. "He is being held in an interrogation tower in the Northern Kingdom; we were on our way to rescue him just as we were attacked. It seems their soldiers ambushed us both."
The king nodded curtly. "Very well. We will first retrieve my troops, then we will find uniforms for you. After that, we'll need a careful plan to find and lay siege to their kingdom."
Orin smiled slyly. "You're highness, I already know where they are..."

Alistriona sipped the water slowly so she wouldn't choke. She looked at the soldier helping her and realized that it was the individual that she and Nera came across. She felt her beloved mates presence close by and grimaced slightly. She hoped that he wouldn't remember the events that led to her injuries and that he was the one that caused them.
"Help me sit up." She said quietly to the soldier whose name she couldn't quite recall. "Please."

Genrin619 Forgive the late post. For some reason I didn't get a notice that you quoted me 
Keira smiled as the King agreed to help them. She just hoped that they are not to late to save her husband. She took a deep breath as she hugged Orin. "Thank you Orin. Let's hope we are not to late to save my husband." Keira was ready for this as she was ready to get dress into their uniform and just hope that they go unnoticed. After all, they are suppose to be dead.

Aavard led his new recruits back into the cave and began rummaging around the packs that were left behind. Eventually, he extracted two uniforms in the correct size. They were tunics of deep, dark blue, lined in gold trimming, complete with a crescent moon on the chest.
He showed them how to wear them - by putting the gold chainmail shirt on, then pulling the tunic over it and securing it in place with the sword belt. Once Orin had followed his instructions and slid a sword into the scabbard on the right of the belt, he thanked the kind king and turned to Keira, "So? How does it look?"

Keira was led by some other place so she can get dress after she saw how they put it one time. She was trying to remember as she placed the disguise on but she ended up getting something stuck. It took at least two minutes to figure out what she had done wrong until she finally placed the chainmail on over the tunic she had. Instead of placing the swords in its holster, she placed both her sais that was a gift from her father. She came out of the place she was in and she saw Orin come up and ask her how it look. She smiled and nodded in approval. "Looks good, cannot tell you were you."

 Son, Who resides in the body of...^*^The Guardsmen^*^ --------------------- Son watched as the woman sipped at the water, and smiled, glad to see her staying awake. He had feared for a while that she would remain unconscious for some time, and been struggling with himself about what to do should that happen. He was glad she was back though, even though he had no idea why he was taking such thoughtful care of her. He could hear the man who had intruded earlier talking with someone outside the room, and silently wished that he could cast them out of the place.
When she asked him to help her sit up he nodded and walked to her. He took the water and set it down, then carefully placed a hand behind her back and lifted her up to a sitting position with her back against the base of the bed. He could tell she wanted to get to the man, he had been able to tell the night before they shared some sort of powerful connection. He wasn't sure he could stop it from happening either. He was pretty sure he had established that they could somehow communicate non-verbally if they wanted to. "Take it easy, your still recovering. If you need anything, just let me know and I'll get it for you." He told her, deciding that was the best he could do to keep her from trying to stand and go after the man in the hall.

 Alistriona was grateful to be sitting up. She could still feel Aarvard's presence but wasn't quite sure if she wanted to talk to him just yet. She looked at the soldier. "Why are you helping me? You don't even know me." Alistriona couldn't help but blurt out. She didn't feel any bad vibes coming from the soldier. "Remind me again what your name is? I can't seem to recall it." She could tell she was rambling but at that point she didn't care. She just wanted to distract herself from the pain. She knew she needed to shift to speed up the healing but there was the small matter of being slightly dizzy every time she moved her head. As she waited for him to answer, she closed her eyes and thought about the last 48 hours. She knew she'd probably face some kind of punishment for attacking Aarvard but she still did what was necessary. He was still so new to his powers that when he lost control destruction was inevitable. She only wished that she could find out what happened to everybody else. Alistriona couldn't detect the other members of the court nor could she sense the other werewolves. When Alistriona felt her heart racing, she cleared her mind and took several deep breaths. She couldn't afford to lose control herself.

Orin went into himself, drawing upon the ancient magic burning at his core. He pulled strands of it away and sent them out, feeling for the energy that would reveal the battling soldiers. Eventually, he found them driven to the south. "They're south of here. It should only be a few minute's journey - just near a large river and a very wide bridge. Do you know this place?"
The king nodded. "I know it well. I will ride out and gather my soldiers. The two of you must stay here. If you want my help, you will protect her," he said slightly jerking his head behind them where his wife and the mysterious solder were, "and keep an eye on him."
With that, he took off from the cave. Orin wandered deeper in and took a seat by the man. "We haven't been properly introduced," he told the two, "I am Orin of the Bloodhawk tribe in the forests of the Southern Isles. My companion is Lady Keira of the Southern Isles," he said, gesturing to Keira politely.

Keira smiled gently but it was just mask to his her emotions. She was sadden by the fact that her beloved husband was taken from her and furious by the person who has done it. She feared that her husband was already dead but in the back of her mind there was hope. She did as the King commanded as she would watch his wife and keep an eye on the soldier that was there with her. Keira smiled again, "Hello." She bowed her head in respect.

He was glad the man who had come in before, the aggressive leader of the pack, had not returned, though he wondered where he had gone. It was unusual for the man to have wondered off, especially after having made so obvious his dislike for him being around the woman earlier. He could only imagine that these people he had sent in had been sent in his place for the time being. That he did not mind.
At the woman's question of his name and the introductions of the two strangers he quickly decided to abandon the alias he had been using as the guardsmen. While it had been good for establishing credibility he didn't see a need for it now. "My friends call me Son." He told them, nodding to everyone. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Sir Orin and Lady Keira." He gave a small bow, only enough for courtesy but not specifically for respect. "What brings you here? If it was the battle I think you may be a few hours too late." He examined the two strangers closely, scrutinizingly. He could tell that the Orin character had some depth of power beyond what the surface would reveal He did not have a great amount of his old strength left, but he could see this mans power clear enough. Silently he wondered if he were to take the mans body if the power would be his. He stored that possibility away for later, he didn't even know what the mans power was, or if he would be better suited letting the man keep charge of it and utilizing him, as he was surely more experienced in its use. Ultimately it didn't matter which body he was in, as long as it helped him reach his goal and get back to the body he truly wanted.

Alistriona eyed the other two strangers with distrust in her eyes. She knew that the man who had been helping her just lied but didn't understand why. She knew that Son wasn't his actual name but she didn't say anything. She looked at the female eyeing her and gave a slight growl. She didn't like the looks of the man standing next to the female. "Sir Orin and Lady Keira is it?" Alistriona asked as politely as she could. "I need you to stand outside the door for a few moments. Son i need you to help me off the bed and onto the floor. Don't question it please. Just do it. And then i need you to stand outside with Orin and Keira" She knew she needed to shift and that it wasn't going to be pleasant no matter how comfortable she tried to make her self. She reckoned she still had a couple of broken ribs that would pop back into place once she shifted.

Orin tensed, ready to put a binding on her. He lost control for a fraction of a second and his power surged through the room. It was then that the woman growled. He couldn't tell if it was intended for him or for Keira. "Unfortunately, I must deny your request under the King's orders," he replied sternly. "However, your friend here may help you up in our presence and the three of us could turn our backs," he offered. "But I am not to leave either of you alone."
He could tell that she was not pleased that they were there, but he held his ground, ignoring his bleeding wounds. Though Keira had been dead only an hour before, she seemed to be functioning well. He wondered if she had strength to fight them should they need to be subdued.

"King's orders or not, I am the second highest ranking person here next to the King as I happen to be his mate. Leave Keira if you must since I do have to shift and its not going to be pretty but i will not shift in front of you or Son." Alistriona growled out. She didn't like Orin one bit and the power that he just leaked made her dislike him even more. Nothing personal against him but unless he can control that power something told her that she should be on her guard at all times.

Keira didn't like how they were looking at them especially the man that gave them that stare as if he wanted something. She placed herself in front of Orin as he was her friend a very good friend that she hold close to her heart. She would gladly give her life for him. She heard the woman bark orders and felt Orin get a little jumpy as he released some of his power but Keira felt nothing it didn't phase her and she didn't want to leave Orin with that man. Keora looked at the woman again not caring what she had to say. "The King orders out ranks yours but I will comply that Orin and this guardsman step outside as I will remain here." Keira slightly turned her head to look at Orin. "It will be fine. Be careful." She whispered the last part for only Orin could hear." Keira then looked back at the woman and the guardsmen so he can hurry up and help her up and then leave. If he or she started a fight then she would not hesitate to defend herself or Orin. She was not.going to let anyone stop her from rescuing her husband she needed the Kings help and if babysitting his mate is what she had to do then so be it.
