Leena was shocked at how strong the other mare was when she gripped her arm. "Of course miss Asali. I care for each of my customers. If there is anything else I can do to help you please let me know Asali." she said softly and smiled reaching over to stroke her hand.

Asali slowly let go of Leena and sighed. "If you would just sit and keep me company that would be great." She ran a hand over her eyes and took a deep breath. She hated thunderstorms.

Leena smiled softly and sat down in the seat next to Asali. "Of course dear Asali. I will be glad to keep you company. I wish I could do more. So lets see we should try to distract you. So lets see here. We could play a game if you like. Cards or which would rather?"

"Playing cards may help to keep me distracted," she smiled facing Leena. "What shall we play and what are the stakes?"

Leena giggled a bit and nods, "Well then dear I shall let you think of the stakes and I will run upstairs and get the cards. We can use some chocolate chips as money to bet with it you like." She smiled warmly and stood up. "I will run up so I shall be quick and you wont need to be alone too long." she said softly.

Asali nodded watched as Leena disappeared to get the cards. She chewed on her bottom lip as she waited. What would she do when she left? Leena's offer was really enticing, Leena herself was rather enticing as well. She leaned back in her seat and sighed, If I work under the woman even for a short time, it would be wrong of me to become involved with her intimately.

Leena's hooves could be heard running up some stairs in the back of the shop. Though as she walked around upstairs there was not the single sound of her hooves. Clearly the building was build pretty solidly. Leena found herself rather found of the Ista. She was very nice, loved sweets, and easy to talk with. It was nice to have such a storm going to keep the other there longer. She really hoped it would last at least a few hours more.
Shortly enough he hooves were heard back on the stairs and she reentered the shop. "Sorry for taking so long." She smiled brightly at the other mare and held up the cards and a small bag of chocolate chips, "Ta da!" she laughed softly and came back to sit at the table. "Alright miss Asali did you think of the stakes we shall be playing for?"

Asali smiled and sat up, "Welcome back Miss Leena." She thought for a moment, "I'm not entirely sure what to play for."

Leena gives a nod, "Ah I see. Alright well any idea what we want to play? Black Jack or Old Maid or war?" She set the bag down and started to shuffle the cards. She smiled, "I will think about some stakes as well."

Leena nods, "Alright then black jack it will be. I will give you a fifty chocolate chips to start with and well I guess we can just use them as real money and you can buy anything in the shop with your winnings." She smiled and set the deck down to pour out some chips onto a plate for Asali. "I guess I shall be the dealer." She smiled and nods, "Would you care to cut the deck miss?"

Asali smiled as she cut the deck. "That seems like a fair deal to me, but what happens if you win all of my chips?" She smiled as she looked at the laegil mare, already starting to relax.

Leena thinks for a moment, "Well lets see..if I win them all...how about you work here free for a day. Cleaning and such?" She smiled at the other mare wondering if that would be fair as she started to deal the cards.

"Trying to get me to stick around a bit longer?" Asali laughed and nodded. "I'll agree to your terms." She looked down at her cards a king face up and a two beneath.

Leena nods, "Why not? I find you very agreeable. Anyone who loves sweets as much as you and I, I fancy." She laughed gently and then smirks, "Alright lets let play until all your chips are gone or you clean out with as much chips as you can get." She looked down at her cards the one facing up being a two. What a good start.
