Kevin Kelly
Darkness elementalEverything has its wonders, even darkness and silence...Kevin shrugged a hello in reply to Ryan before going back to his meal. It was small but filling and he finished it off quickly. Crumpling up the paper bag, he leaned back on his chair to get a better shot at the garbage can and tossed it in with a long looping arch. He settled forward again, leaning on his elbows and listening to the conversation around him, trying to learn any new information about the goings on around the school.
He was about to get up to follow Ryan and Yosuke when Sarah sat down. She was one of the few members of their little group that Kevin actually liked, even if she was his opposite. He smiled slightly at her question, sitting up straight again to talk to her. "Not even a hello for me Sarah? I'm hurt" He said with a small smile. "a very nice outfit by the way" He chuckled slightly before growing serious about her question. "Ryan and Yosuke just left, headed for the Library, Kira had a little bully problem this morning and I haven't seen her yet, as to the rest, missing in action it seems" He explained, his small smile still on, like he knew a funny secret he wanted to tell you but couldn't.
"Ryan not wake you up this morning?" He asked, raising his eyebrow's slightly. He'd heard she'd been missing from classes that morning but he hadn't expected her to show up in her pyjamas...not that he was complaining. Even with bed-hair and pyjamas she somehow managed to look good....and I learn to be content there in the darkness.

Kisami remained near the tree even as Cyan dashed off towards the forward, a small smile lingering on her face. Cyan's words...they were more than she could have hoped for. She never expected the Nature Demon to fight, but to have her on their side was an immense advantage--even if it was just to help her. At the very least, she would be that much closer to fulfilling her personal promise to her parents, and eliminating the Elementals for once and for all.
At any rate, Takaya would not be pleased to hear that she wouldn't be using her powers for destruction. Kisami bit her lip and glanced towards the school building. She was supposed to meet him once she'd convinced Cyan, but she didn't know how to break it to him that Kisami would be the only one Cyan would directly help. Maybe it would be better to have Cyan let him know that herself. Takaya was much more wary of fighting with Cyan than with her, in any case. With that decision, the turned towards the school building, ready to return, when the winds cried out to her. They were coming from the direction of the forest, where Cyan had gone into, and begged for retribution. With a sick feeling in her stomach, Kiki changed her mind, flying towards the forest instead.
She alighted on a branch just above a group of children, immediately pulling a vortex of invisibility around herself as she observed the scene. "Ephemeral wind," she whispered, and became one with the wind's essence. There were a bunch of kids there, but the ones who held the most interest for Kisami were a girl holding a knife, a couple boys with rope in their hands, and Cyan--being bound to a tree. The winds carried the ghosts of their conversation to her ears, and Kiki grew hot with fury. How dare they try to exploit a Demon? She would never stand for this. Gathering a ball of north wind, she whispered, "Fetch me the Blood Demon. Tell him it's of dire importance--the Nature Demon hangs in the balance." She released the ball of wind, and turned back to the group below her. First things first--that knife was hers. She couldn't wear her knives at school (although she always brought them with her and stashed them in her locker), and she'd become proficient enough in her powers that she could hold off an opponent long enough to get a knife if she had to. Against these wicked children, Kisami had no doubts about the efficiency of her magic. But she didn't want them to hurt Cyan.
Pulling herself out of her invisible state (she hated being invisible--it was such a strange sensation), she called upon the powers of the wind, and her bracelet began to glow. "Agile winds, aid me, she commanded, and swiftly dove from the trees like a falcon, aiming directly for the girl with the knife. Without ever touching the ground, Kisami grabbed the knife from the girl and twirled around her body, using her as a springboard to return to the trees and leaving her sputtering in the dirt. With a satisfied smirk, she tossed the knife in her hands, staring back at the children with flashing red eyes.
"Little children," she said in a cheerful, sing-songy voice, "you've taken something that belongs to me, and I want it back. Now."

Takaya was still sitting in his comfortable position on the roof when he felt a disturbance. A lovely pain coursed through his body as his blood screamed to him, and received Kisami's message through the wind. "Ah." He sighed. This was quite an unexpected turn of events. The demon of nature was in a bit of trouble, and had taken off before his second had a chance to react. Closing his book, Takaya took out another cigarette, it had after all, been a whole fifteen minutes since his last one. Taking a leisurely pace, he lit it, took a long drag, and pulled a razor from his. A dark glow came from the crimson dogtags he wore. He didn't need to do anything so trivial as be in a physical location to assist his allies. Concentrating upon his fellow demon's surroundings, he noticed the beings around herself. Bah, a true demon could take so few enemies. Perhaps her usefulness was limited. Slitting his wrist, Takaya focused on one of the worthless kids trying to use the demon of nature for their own gains
'YOU ARE MINE.' Blood began to trickle from Takaya's nose as he took control of everything this boy was. 'YOU. WILL. OBEY.'
The young boy's eyes went blank, as he muttered out a single phrase. "I...I must obey. I live to serve him." He turned to his friends with a deranged look on his face.
'Dearest demons, do you require assistance?' He took a pained drag off of his cancer-stick. This was no leisurely walk through the park, but he wasn't going let a potential source of usefulness go to waste so easily.
((OOC. That's fine, just go at your own pace.))

Cyan gasped and sputtered, trying to break free of the bonds that held her. The winds seemed to whisper to her, but she couldn't place it, she could only feel the bondage she was in. Her senses were completely out of tune. It was the panic in her that caused the issue with her powers. She had to remain calm, she couldn't panic, but that was easier said than done. oh no... not more trouble... She thought to herself as she felt the wind pick up. Her struggling only increased.
The head boy laughed at her struggling figure. "Struggle all you want, little Demon, but those ropes were made by demons, so you can't break free!" The others laughed and continued to contemplate how to use Cyan's power to enhance their own. The Earth Elemental boy was the first to notice a change in the wind, the three all Fire elementals were not very atuned as their friend was and had hardly took notice. "Hey... guys... something's up." His voice stammered as he slowly looked back between his bewildered friends, he explained. "I felt a tense wind come through here. It could be another Nature Demon or another elemental. It might just be me, but I'm not about to take another chance. I'm gonna call my dad." He pulled out his cell phone and dialed his fathers number. The others grew more cautious.
Suddenly the girl with the knife landed in the dirt face down, her knife gone. Sputtering out the dirt, she righted herself and glared that boys who all looked startled and stunned by her fall. "Who did that?!" She barked, her hair catching fire, she glared at the three of them. Then at Cyan, but before another word could be spoken, they froze.
"Little children, you've taken something that belongs to me and I want it back now." Cyan's eyes grew wide as the familiar voice filled her with relief. There are times I am glad I know another Demon... Cyan thought to herself as she looked at where Kisami had landed. A gratefulness that was larger than herself washed through her.
The kids recovered quickly, "Oh, and if we don't, what's it to you?" "We've taken nothing that belongs to you, freak!" "Give me back my knife, b***h!" All the children stood facing Kisami, but Cyan knew they were not going to be there long. However, Cyan struggled to free her mouth, when she was able too finally get passed the gag she called out, "Don't kill them Kisami... Please... no bloodshed!" Her small voice could barely be heard above the chatter of the threats the Children were making.
The lines were drawn...

Ryan smirked, "You only know me too well Yosuke. I won't harm or tease Kira." He swore this mentally so he could prepare himself. Walking into the library he sighed. He hated this place. A thought occurred suddenly and he winded. "Aw man Sarah is gonna kill me." He muttered this to mainly himself. He hasn't gotten her up when he left that morning. "Yosuke you can handle my sister right because I very might need a body guard." He looked around the area for Lira before almost givin up. "I don't see her anywhere." Sarah smirked at Kevin. "my bad good morning then good sir." She bowed as he commented her outfit. "I do try to look my best in the mornings." A total lie but one she couldn't help make fun of. Sarah was far from a prep, those that thought she was got severely injured. She was not one to take being labeled lightly. "why are you here by your lonesome?" She teased nudging his shoulder. "being a loner again?" When he mentioned her brother she rolled her eyes. "when does he? We are one men show people in our house."

Kira could hear Yosuke's voice. And Ryan's. She pulled in tighter into her corner. She was blind without her glasses, her book and clothing ruined. She was so weak. She didn't want to be a bother. She didn't want to be picked on. She just wanted to go home and hide. She wanted to run away. Pulling knees to her chest, pressing her face against the back of her knees, Kiran trembled. She did not want to be found. She wanted to be found. She wanted to be saved. She had already been attacked. She couldn't stop from crying.

Yosuke chuckled. His didn't realize his friend's sister hadn't been at lunch. Ryan made a very, verry grave mistake pissing off his sister. "Aheh sorry dude." He spoke as he rounded a corner, only vaguely looking at some books. "That really sounds like a personal problem bro...wait." He stopped abruptly as he noticed a familiar curled up figure in the corner. Squinting his eyes, Yosuke knew who it was. "KIRA!?"
Yosuke sprinted over to the girl as quickly as he could. She was a complete mess, marker all over her, glasses broken beside her, hair completely messed up, torn book pages all over the place. Reaching Kira, he knelt down next to her and threw his arms around her in a comforting hug. "Kira...It's going to be okay...It's over. You're going to be okay. We're here. What happened? Who did this??" Tears began to well in the young man's eyes. This was the most heartbreaking scene he had ever viewed.

Her whole form shook as a leaf trapped in a windstorm. Swallowing she found no courage only more fear. She didn't want to be a burden. She didn't want anyone to be in trouble. She just- she just wanted to leave. She wanted to stay. Wanted to go home. Wanted to disappear. Very slowly she uncurled and fell into him. Keeping her arms tucked against her, pressing her forehead against his shoulder, " I'm s-sor-r-y. I'm s-so s-s-or-r-r-y. I b-b-beg-g-ed th-them t-t-to st-stop b-b-but th-they..." The rest " b-b-backp-p-pack..." was drowned out " ...b-b-bow..." by fresh " s-sor-r-ry..."sobs and continued apologies. She was too upset to be reasoned with.

Yosuke stayed completely in place as he felt the girl shake and cry. Oh god...who could have done this to her? How in the hell could someone torment this innocent girl? He was very upset, but Yosuke wasn't one for getting angry. He was more concerned with Kira being okay far more than any petty grudges at the moment. "Shhh,..Shhh." He cooed to her. Yosuke patted her back and let her get it all out.
"It's not your fault...It isn't..You did nothing wrong, Kira. You didn't." He slowly tried to reassure her. "Me and Ryan are here now...Nothing bad is going to happen, anymore." Although his voice was soft and gentle, Yosuke was breaking apart inside. He should have been around. He shouldn't have let this s**t happen. Why the HELL didn't he keep a closer watch on her!?

Yosuke's calming tone, his promise of being safe... very slowly her sobs fell into whimpers and finally to silence. Kira pulled away and wiped her red rimmed eyes. Her tremor remained, she was still scared- still upset and still very much blind. Swallowing she shook her head and pulled her knees against her chest. She knew better. It was safe with them now, but there wouldn't be anyone at home to keep her from her fathers wrath. None of them knew about his temper. As with so much... she remained silent. Maybe she could sleep in the park tonight. Being with nature wasn't so bad and she was a great tree climber so she'd be safe. Maybe that was best. But then who would feed her father? He was always so busy working on his latest novel. Even so close, she could barely make Yusuke out- could not see Ryan. She bet he thought is was funny. Ryan was always picking on her- but she'd spent so much time ignoring his antics. Looking up to Yusuke, her deep blue eyes bleary she bit her lip and looked away. A blush crossed the top of her nose, voice barely louder than a dove's coo, " I t-t-tr-tried t-to f-fight th-them. I d-d-did. I...I'm s-sor-r-y. Th-they t-t-took m-my b-b-bag an m-my b-bow."

Ryan stayed silent and listened to Kira and Yosuke. He hated the damn bullies. Looking around he looked down at Kira and then at his friend. "I'll be back don't leave her side, Yosuke." He had nothing else to say and he headed off. He knew all the routes and ways the bully could take. Heading towards the easy wing Ryan was on a mission.
When he caught up with the girl and her group he took a lighter out of his pocket. He had his necklace so he had nothing to worry about. "hey!" The group looked back at him with jeers and smirks. "you took my friends bag. I need it back." The girl jabbed him in the chest and sneered some smart a** remark. Ryan shook his head and flicked the lighter on. "I'll give you one chance give it back." The girl turned away and the bag was tossed back and forth between a few people. Ryan looked down and smiled. Well this was how it would happen.
Returning to the library he wiped the blood off his knuckles and put the litter away. He found Kira and Yosuke and tossed the bag over. "here is both." He was quiet and shrugged like it was nothing. "Try to keep track of it next time." He couldn't be too nice now could he? "that bully should back off."

Her voice, and the way her eyes glowed in such a bittersweet way, still broke his heart, but Yosuke remained calm, and let a natural gentle expression shine from his face. "I understand, Kira. Don't worry about it. There was nothing more you could have done." Looking around, he picked up Kira's glasses. Completely cracked. Damn. But, three of his sisters wore glasses, so he always kept a repair kit on him. Pulling it out Yosuke slowly patched them up back to a wearable state and extended them back to the shaky girl in front of him.
Yosuke noticed Ryan going, and coming back abruptly. 's**t...that's just great. Now I get more on my plate. Just swell.' He was going to have a very stern damn talk with Ryan after all this. But right now wasn't the time.
He gave a comforting smile, and looked Kira directly in her eyes. ...There was more wrong inside of them than just the bullying she endured. It was a sixth sense Yosuke possessed from being such a coddling person. He made a mental note to bring it up when she had calmed down enough to talk again. "Ryan's got your things, okay? There's nothing to worry about. Is there anything I can do for you?" But inside, Yosuke was already really worried about what had happened.

It took her a few tries to get her glasses on her face. She tried taking a few breaths to calm down, but it didn't help at all. Blinking through the fractured glass, she could kind of see. How was it Yusuke was so wonderful? He always seemed to have the answer to everything. Her blush grew, now with her sight restored- she loved the shape of his eyes, the kindness that was his essence. Glasses on she started to thank Yusuke but Ryan returned with her bag and bow. He tossed them and she caught them. The bow alone was worth more than her life. He father had said so, on more than one occasion. She stared at the items, her smile slow and wary. She looked between them both- if she could have given them something greater, beyond a honey sweet, " Th-thank y-you b-both s-so m-much." Slowly she began to gather the torn pages of her book. A smile, shaky as it was, was a good sign. She even was beginning to calm down and speaking in more coherent sentences. Her voice was still shaky, but retained her lovely sweet tone. 'Better...God I hope she'll be okay..' Yosuke breathed a sigh of relief and his face spread into a genuine smile. "Don't worry about it. It's what we're here for, y'know." Seeing the pinkish hue on her face, he couldn't help but blush a bit himself.
Seeing her grab at the scattered pages Yosuke scrambled to help and began picking them up as well. "I-I'm sorry about your book, Kira. If you want, I can get you another copy." He said anxiously. He hoped she would say yes, people always refused him when he offered to pay for things. He had plenty of spending money from his parents, and wanted for very little himself.

Ryan rolled his eyes and looked between the two. "come on lovebirds lets get out of here. Google at each other later lets get Kira cleaned up." Ryan only called things as he saw them and he definitely saw something now. It was embarrassing being around those two sometimes. Smirking he turned to walk away. "Can we go to your house?" The question was directed at Yosuke but if Kira offered they could go there as well. Anywhere but his place was good enough. Plus he needed to get off school grounds before he got in trouble.
