"It's supposed to, but then again so is coffee." Mot said with an amused look. "Water and tea? Well, we have water, that's for sure.." Tea he had none of. He used to back when he was trying Xiu's tea to sleep better. But since he was doing fine on his own, he no longer needed it. Besides, sleepy tea was not good for keeping someone awake.
"It could be that you're tired. We've done quite a bit. I usually stay up pretty latem so if you're tired let me know. No need to force yourself for me."

"They do not seem to work on me," he said with a light frown. Did that mean he did not get youthful happiness either? Well, that was ridiculous. At least water was easy by.
He thought about Mot's other suggestion. That he might be tired. He had not felt particularly tired before the drink, but it was evening, and he had been over here for some time now. "Perhaps I should got and get some rest then. Perhaps I can come by again and help you with these? I would not be forcing myself, I enjoy doing these sorts of things with you Mot. Really." He glanced at the cowboil though. "But perhaps you should get rest as well? If you stay up late you may not get all of the sleep that you need."

"Sure. You can come over tomorrow, then? We'll do a little more studying and then we can finish this up." The extra hand was helpful. Mot's booth was getting to be a little overly ambitious. So many prizes and games to be had. Gumballs to order..
Mot took a glance at his half empty can of pop. Sleep would not be coming soon. Regardless he shifted his gaze to Yin and nodded. "I will try. Come one. I'll see you to the door."

"That sounds like a plan," was the response, punctuated by a stifled yawn. He stretched before beginning to make his way to the door, stopping by the desk to gather the books and supplies he had brought with him.
Hugging the materials to his chest he turned when they reached the door and glanced up at Mot through his eyelashes, suddenly embarrassed and flustered. "Mot, I have kept something from you...not intentional! I was just enjoying my time with you so much that I forgot to tell you." He sounded rather devastated about it really as he looked away, unable to face the cowboil. "I...I am dangerous to be around. Just spending time with me might put you at risk, and I do not want to risk that. You need to know I am dangerous."

Kept something? Dangerous?
Mot had a hard time believing that, shifting his weight and looking down at the brunette with concern. "I hardly think you're dangerous, but if you're keeping something from me, I'd prefer you to tell me. Especially if it is dangerous."

If he would not have bitten straight through his bottom lip with his razor-sharp teeth he might have chewed on it nervously. He did not want to tell Mot, but really, he owed it to anyone he was going to be close to. Even if close to just meant a few nights of helping each other a week. But he was not as close to this boil as he was to Miss Danny, as he had been to Alexander. Then again Mort knew, and he was not close to that zomboil. But it was not just his secret to tell, it was also Miss Amphitrite’s. The others that had been in the room with him. “I cannot really tell you. Not in full. It is not just my secret. But…you know I was captured by hunters. They…they did things. Changed us. I do not know if you should be around me because of that. I could be of risk to you and I do not want that. This was fun Mot,” he hoped the boil would know just how sincerely he meant that. “I truly enjoy spending time with you. But because of that perhaps it is best that I do not?” Yin already knew that regardless of what he did the hunters would just keep taking from him, Princess Eva had been proof of that. And he had chosen to move on regardless. But he could not just make that decision for someone else. Mot deserved the right to know what he was getting into. And that he should not trust him in full.

It was something involving what happened to Yin and the others on the Hunter's Island? So it wasn't just Yin's secret, meaning he could only say so much without hurting those who also were there.
Mot frowned, nodding. "I understand. But Yin, this doesn't mean you have to isolate yourself. I encourage you to seek me out, no matter what happened to you. Okay?"

Yin looked up at Mot, pale green eyes still looking somewhat vulnerable as they met Mot’s terra cotta orbs. An odd lump was growing in his throat and he gave him a tentative smile. “Thank you Mot, I do not know if you understand what that means to me.” It meant that senpai still wanted Yin around, that was what it meant. “So tomorrow then? At the same time? I shall do my best to be helpful! Just use me however you want.”

"Same time, same place. And really, don't worry about it. Just think of it as a favour in return for the studying sessions." The reaper smiled and gave the boil a nod. Mot wasn't sure how he felt about using anyone, but if it was in the form of a favour, that was okay.
"You did good today, by the way. Have a safe walk back."

"You really taught me a lot Mot, I am sure I will get better working under you," Yin flashed him a quick smile as he edged toward the door.
"Of course I shall use safety, safety is important. Still, it is nice to know we have the same values Mot." With that he left, safely making his way back to his room, though his mind kept drifting back to a certain cowboil.
