The humans and their pets were attacking back. But it was no issue. Some attacks could be felt more than others, but in the grand scheme of things, they still had a long way to go. Even so, they didn't like being poked and prodded and scratched. As a result, they began to phase out a little, becoming a little less corporeal in the meantime. Letting out another roar, the dragon unleashed grey flames onto that handful of creatures that had struck them. These flames would not go away all too easily. ROUND 2

HP: 170 Quote: THE OOC:- 2 moves (attack/defend/heal/ect) per round! - The insanity dragon is now harder to hit. All normal attacks towards them have a -8 modifier!- Each round will begin with a move by the giant insanity fog monster. - No autodamage unless otherwise stated Jinhai, Saliva, Rue, and Zanthvos(and their respective hunters) are ON FIRE - Take 5 auto damage for each move you make. If successfully striking (not defending or healing) a target that isn't insanity-based (this means hunters and weapons), you transfer this status effect onto your target and are no longer on fire. Until then, keep on burning baby.

Boss: 158 Tenya and Otto booked it out of the way of the fire and those who'd contracted it. In the meantime, Tenya let out another mighty war cry, landing a series of midair kicks to the fog creature.

Rue still stood with a cocky swagger as the dragon roared, or whatever it was roared, but her step backward towards Ofelia turned out to be a pretty bad idea. No sooner had she made it to her hunter's side then the roar turned out a spitting of flames and before either the Boo Hag or Ofelia understood what was going on they both were enveloped in a burning sensation.
The teen started to shriek right away as their shared sheild started to burn, the feeling Rue was possessing spreading to her just as quickly. The Boo Hag seemed uneasy for her part, looking at the flames as though they were something horrible, and for the briefest flicker of a moment a look of fear crossed her own features. After that she reached over and slapped Ofelia, warning her to be silent with her fist.
This burning wasn't a great thing, but she knew just how to take care of it and she didn't care if anyone she knew got hurt in the process. In fact she had a wonderful person just in mind. . .

Zanthvos always knew he was hot. But he was pretty sure he never wanted to be this hot. Jumping around and trying to pat the flames out didn't seem to do anything. And when he heard a shout of alarm, he turned to see Jason was somehow on fire too.
This wasn't a good sign, so he went back to scratching at the dragon. Maybe if it went down,t he fire would go out?

She didn't care if the stupid little girl hated her, Rue had enough feelings for her to settle in. She didn't care if the owner hated Ofelia for it, she enjoyed watching Ofelia suffer in silence and sadness over it all. There had to be a way to pass these flames on, to make everyone else suffer in her place, and Rue grinned wickedly as she strode forward.
"Little Tenya." Her voice was hard to hear among the crackling of the flames, but her intent was all there. Somewhere behind her Ofelia screamed for Tenya to run, for Otto to run, but it was too late. The Boo Hag raised her fist upward and brought it down hard on the dropbear golem. The flames on her body hissed once, twice, and then vanished as it spread outward. "Pants on fire, liar liar. . . "
From behind her the flames died on Ofelia as well and the teen covered her face in horror. Why would her weapon attack a comrade like that so...openly?!

He attacked again, grimacing when he felt the fire burn at his delicate feathers. He would be pretty pissed if his wings got burnt away, but he was growing more annoyed at the fact his hutner was in danger too. Jason possessed no FEAR shield, since Zanthvos was the FEAR shield.

One minute they had been talking to Marcus and Dis - the next they were both engulfed in grey flames.
Gale gave a scream of pain that resounded in Jinhai's ears, dropping to his knees, and the dragon was suddenly very aware that he was a golem and his partner a human.
"Gale! Gale!"
The FEAR shield was still in place, but that did not mean that it didn't hurt. Gale could feel the shield beginning to melt, the heat licking at his body, and he wrapped his arms around his waist, gasping for breath and trying very hard not to panic. He looked up at the dragon, Jinhai crouching over him, a look of bright concern on his pale, scaled face. Somewhere he could hear shrieking, a familiar voice, but Gale was focused more on trying to take the Insanity-ridden dragon down than anything else.
"Ginny - go - "
Jinhai didn't need to be told twice.

Dakota and Chama had come into the battle a little late seeing as the moon hunter had to get his weapon to stop clinging to him long enough to prepare for the battle anyways.
He stared at the dragon before pointing his hand at Chama and then to the Dragon.
"Attack Chama. Use flamethrower!!!" Was he telling her like a pokemon? yes he was.
"You don't have to tell me twice, Sorry big boy, any other day and you'd totally be my type. Today though, My hunter wants to send you off." The phoenix glared as she formed fire in her hands, moving to attack. Apparently though, her fire didn't do much for the battle.

Atropos threw herself in front of Candace as the dragon breathed fire at them, covering her Hunter. It worked. Neither of them were on fire, but Candace was drawn to a cry of a name. Gale! Her eyes widened and she instinctively shoved Atropos away from her to bolt in the direction of the boy. "Gale?!" Not her Gale! There he was, flaming away. She gasped, hands flying to her mouth. Water? No! She had no water. No dirt. No nothing! Um..what to..ah! Her coat, maybe? "Atropos, don't stop fighting. Kill that ******** thing." She ordered, taking off her coat. "Gale? I'm going to try to put the fire out, okay? I don't know if this'll work but.." She couldn't not do anything. Fire needed oxygen, right? Well, cut off the oxygen and you kill the fire. Her coat wasn't as large as Gale's but it was enough to cover him. Atropos frowned and nodded to Candace before charging in again. Her fist went through the dragon at first but she did eventually hit something somewhat solid. "Tch. Cheater."Atropos' HP: 56/60 Damage done: 5 Boss HP: 133/250

Robert stared at Jezebel's back, for a moment. It was as if she was waiting for something. Waiting for him to.. give her freedom?
But he couldn't actually..
Robert cracked his knuckles, buckled down, and picked up the fallen angel in front of him. She let out a mortified screech, as he held her above his head, and aimed.
"Okay Jazzy. Spread your wings and fly."
And then he threw her at the dragon.
And missed.
You could still hear Jezebel's screams as she hit some far off distant piece of ground behind Jericho.

Dakota pulled Chama back and glared at the Dragon.
"We're useless like this Chama. Let's go defend someone and make sure they stay alive."
As a moon hunter, he automatically searched out a hunter, grinning as he saw Otto and Tenya. Though he was sure Chama would be displeased with them, Dakota would rather defend his brother then anything.
"Otto, Tenya. We'll be your shield for today..."
"The hell I am being that hings shield Dakota!!" Chama shrilled. he decided to ignore her though and set himself up just in case Otto needed it.

By the time they actually got close enough to attack, the fight had clearly started. Armagnac seemed mildly annoyed. “Learn to hurry,” she mumbled at her hunter.
“We got here as fast as we could. Now what?” Sherry looked at the massive dragon-thing, and around her. Stuff was burning. This didn’t look well.
“We fight it. Or rather, I fight it. You stand back,” she waved dismissively at Sherry before flexing her clawed hands and moving forward to attack.
Armagnac seemed to hit nothing but mist. It didn't make the lindworm happy.
"At least she's not yelling at me this time," Sherry grumbled.

Not pleased with herself, Armagnac took another swipe at the dragon. Again, she hit nothing.
"See." Sherry said. "It's not always as cut and dry as you make it out to be."
Armagnac glared at Sherry for a moment, then at the giant dragonlike thing. She said nothing.

So he thought he could get away by being a little less tangible, huh? Ha! Stupid dragons! Thinking they were so big and bad and awesome just because they were dragons. But you know what? She was better than a Jackdamn dragon.
