Ivy smiled, 'Yes, well, they did that before as well." The plants had always been there for her before and after elderhood. She squeezed Chae's hand, "Oh, I know they will." She continued to lead them. They were in Lokei Nei Forest, they were heading toward the east and toward the lake.

Hi smiled. "It is good when your element works well with you..." Hi scrubbed his hair with hand. "I could probably use a bit of work in that respect, but I save my practice for home where there are less things that are likely to catch fire and burn..." He chuckled a bit and rolled his shoulders. "You're lucky tho, you can practice whenever you please!"
Chae smiled a bit and nodded. "Yes, and she's good at what she does, aren't you Ivy?" He grinned broadly and squeezed her hand back, proud of his wife.

Ivy smiled, "Yes, I guess that is true." She looked at Chae and kissed his cheek, "Thanks Chae...you really think so?" She loved to her compliments, always made her feel good.
Soon they got to a dark spot and she stopped, "We're here." She didn't know where heare was, just that the plant path had stopped. All around was beautiful flowers. "This place is beautiful."

Hi smiled and nodded his head. "Aye, this is a rather beautiful place..." He looked around, and then made to sit, trying not to land on any of the flowers. He chuckled softly and looked up at Ivy and Chae.
Chae smiled and turned his head to look up at Ivy, "Of course I do!" He chuckled and pulled her down to sit with him as he made to do just that.

Ivy smiled, "It think this came to be from the lake, it's has a samll alcove over here." She let Chae pull her down and then put her arms around him, "The plants always know where to go." She then looked at Hi and felt bad, she hoped he didn't feel like a third wheel.

Hi chuckled. "Water is nice and all... But... Not really my thing..." He chuckled and cupped his hand in the air, a small ball of flame sprining to life. "Fire... Now fire I understand..." He chuckled and let the ball dance in his hand. "I understand it well... It can give life as fast as it can take it away..." He chuckled a little. "Most people find fire destructive, but sometimes trees need to be thinned in a forest so new life can grow... It's the sad truth but truth none the less..." He snuffed the flame out and smiled at Ivy. "But I don't think we'll ever have to worry about such things here..." He bowed his head at the couple. "I doubt these woods will ever need culling with you around Ivy."
Chae chuckled and watched Hi for a moment and shook his head. "Yeah, I have to agree, Ivy will keep the forest in line, won't you love?" He smiled at her and snuggled up against her, closing his eyes quite contently.

Ivy watched, "Yes, that is true...but I don't really condone killing the of my friends." To her the trees and plants were alive, had souls, she couldn't stand the sound of them screaming, she had heard that sound during the two earthquakes and she would never forget it.
"Water is something that helps all of us survive, otherwise we couldn't live." Did Hi never drink the water, did he not understand that the plants of which the fruit came, wouldn't be around without water? She shrugged, to each thier own she guessed.

Hi watched Ivy for a moment and he chuckled. "Yes, without water there would be no life, but likewise, without fire, water would have a hard time being..." He shook his head. "Water requires warmth to stay liquid, and the sun is just a big fireball, without the sun there is no water, and without water there is no life, and without life, there is no fire..." He laughed. "It's really quite interesting."

Ivy just nodded, not really interested that much. She really loved plants and was just trying to point out something. She didn't really know about anything else. So she just nodded to keep him happy. She looked around her little alcove and smiled, "This could be a nice getaway, huh, Chae." She squeezed his hand and kissed his cheek.

Chae smiled. "Yeah, this could be a very nice spot to escape the rigors of life..." He laughed a bit, "We shall have to come here more often!" He leaned over and kissed her, squezzing her hand a bit more.
Hi chuckled a little and looked away for a moment, giving the couple some time to themselves as he observed the area around them, taking note.

Ivy kissed him back and then pulled away, some else was there with then and she didn't want to be rude. "Yeah, remember this place." She giggled and then looked around, "It is beautiful, but still not a beautiful as the Fae Clearing." That was her all time favorite spot on the isle.

Chae chuckled and nodded his head, "Yeah, I think this place is a close second though," He sighed contently and leaned against Ivy, closing his eyes and just being content for the moment.
Hi chuckled. "It's a little too green for my tastes, but that's alright," He chuckled and flopped down onto the grass, looking upwards, "It lacks some of the charm of stone and fire..."

Ivy shook her head with a laugh, "Green in my signature color." She cuddled with Chae not really wanting to do much else. She loved just being near him, he always calmed her and made her feel happy.

Hi chuckled and rose to his feet. "It's been nice, but I probably should go," He bowed and chuckled, turning and moving away from most of the plant life, "I'll drop by for anothter visit soon! Have fun you two!" And with another bow, he flamed out, heading for home.
Chae chcukled and shook his head, "And to think I once worried about you having a crush on him..."
