"Why do you fight for me? What have I done for you?" he sighed before shaking his head, "No. I don't want to sleep. Just.. need a moment.."
Sleep didn't last long for him. Not with the nightmares.

"If that's how friendship works, all friendships will be a contract of some sort," Lizzy replied, holding up her right hand and staring at the spiral shaped mark that was still there on the back, "It's hard to explain, but when I see you - or another friend - in need of help, I can't just... Stand there and not help."
She let her hand drop, "You sure? You look really worn out..."

"What decides or defines a friendship?" Shun asked.
Not lifting his head up, he shook his head again at her.
"I'm fine. Don't need sleep..."

"Uh... Emotions? I mean... A friendship is just a relationship between two people, but it's the trust, affection, empathy, and all those other emotions that distinguishes it from acquaintanceship or something else," She replied, tilting her head; she hadn't actually thought about the definition of friendship. To her, friendship wasn't something that was measurable.

That made sense he supposed, but Shun still had some trouble wrapping his mind around it. Wrapping his mind around the fact that Lizzy was doing this.
"I'm sure. I can't sleep anyway," he muttered before letting out a sigh.
"I guess I should have figured I can't shake you ever since you stalked me into my dorm that day.."
Referring to the day he met her.

"Hey! Stalking's creepy! I just, uh, followed you back," Lizzy made sure to stress the word followed, even raising her hands up so that Shun would get the message, because that was important, "Can't sleep...? Why?"

Shun's eye focused in on Lizzy for a moment there. The look he gave made it seem like he didn't quite buy it.
"..Does it matter? Just can't sleep."

"I'll adapt. Mot hardly sleeps doesn't he?" Shun murmured. Sure, he supposed he could use Xiu's tea to knock himself out but..
He didn't appreciate being lucid and stuck in a nightmare beyond his control. Knowing that it was a dream but still being affected just as hard.

Shun shifted a bit, not really wanting to talk about this all that much. With a sort of grimace, he pushed himself back to his feet, though he seemed a little unsteady still.
"Nightmares," he finally murmured before running a hand through his hair.

"Have you tried asking Xiu for help?" Lizzy asked, frowning as she reached out, hands hovering near the boil's arm to grab him if needed, "I mean... Nightmares should be her specialty?"
