I will argue against that. I think that this was the best out of all the tortall series. It had a great plot and the characters were mostly really lovable. Nawat and Aly are so cute together.

I'm re-reading Trickster's Choice and loving it! It was my first book by Tammy and... I have to say it is my favorite. I just love Aly: "Why, I'm as honest as dirt. I'm even more charming than dirt." [Cue eyelash battering]

If it wasn't already obvious how much I adore these two books, ya know cause of my name, I will spell it out... I--L-O-V-E--T-H-E-S-E--B-O-O-K-S!!! Of all the gods you meet in the Tortall universe, Kyprioth is my absolute favorite. The Graveyard Hag is a close 2nd, with Gainel in 3rd. But yes, Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen rocked (and still continue to rock) my socks.

Aly has to be one of my favorite characters, I think I connect with her more than anyone else in Tortall, plus she is just so clever likt the comment that Suta_Hisui pointed out.

I just finished the two books, and I LOVE THEM^^ All the other heroines (the other three tortall series... haven't read provost dog yet) are so serious, while Aly is absolutely free and fun! I really enjoyed reading about Aly, and all her very cute charm and tricks.
I agree, Nawat and Aly are perfect together heart

My favorite series out of all of them. Aly's wit just makes the story great and she's so lovable xD

Well, I've finally dragged my rear through the first four series of this place and stopped at Tricksters and the entire thing was interesting. It's so completely different from the others (although Aly has the drive in her to be in the battle, just like all the other characters), it's interesting to see the other side. The thinking side. The side that doesn't plunge right in and bash heads. :]
I've gotta say that I could fit right in with the players, but I'm so much more of a basher. Is there a character who's a thinker, a player and a basher? Cos she and I might get along the best. XD
Anyway, I can't say I like this any more or any less than all the others, but I do really like it. She seems to be the most free, the most fun, and the most playful of them all, but she still has a long way to go. I'm rather disappointed there's only two in this series, I think Aly could have so much more fun than what she was given. In comparison to the other series with four books, this was such a brief moment in time that I think it's really lacking... :/ But maybe that's just me...

Tammy said that she will possibly write another Aly story eventually but she said that Aly exhausted her. Aly's story was told in two books instead of four because Tammy and the others had seen how many people read Harry Potter so she could write thicker books.

I, too, often find the only complaint I have of Tammy is that I want MORE. gonk
I read that somewhere too, queen. I'm so glad that she's writing longer books though; means we get to read more. =D

Although Tricksters was only 2 books it's just as long if not longer than some of her 4 book series. It was a change I was really happy with because I do love her books but I was always thought they were too short

It was a change I was really happy with because I do love her books but I was always thought they were too short o_O Measured up to the PotS books that I have, Trickster's Choice is actually smaller than the last one, if not the last two. You stack them up and PotS is bigger, and so are the Immortals. I was sure to get the ones that were the same size in height (I'm a perfectionist, they've gotta all be the same on the shelf...).
They are longer then the Lioness, but I still feel as if the storyline was rushed and stuffed into two books when there could have been much more to them. I'm a little disappointed that Tamora decided to follow the lines of longer books like Harry Potter and didn't stick with her old style. It really shows.

I don't mind the Longer books especially in the case of Terrier. Bloodhound I could have done without. Depending on how Mastiff turns out I will say Terrier should have been left as a stand alone.
As for Trickster's I didn't feel like the series was rushed at all. I'm always glad that Aly's are only two books. Aly kinda exhausts me kinda like she does Tammy. Aly is my least favorite of TP's Heroines.
