Xiomara could see that Eunica and David were fighting. Knowing that Eunica wasn't the sort to consort with demons, she was sure that David had probably been paid to fight for the demons.
Still, it looked like Eunica was doing a good job of keeping the mercenary at bay. The thief continued to concentrate on picking off the weaker-looking demons, hoping that their combined efforts would be enough to stop the beast.

David sat behind his tree, slamming a stim into his leg to alleviate his pain. He heard Eunica call out to him.
"It's not about being human!" he yelled back. "It's about the continued survival of sentient life!"
He paused.
"And money!" he finished.

Rhea strode over to Key, sneering. Snapping her fingers, she watched as Omega and Alpha pounced the archdemon, biting and snapping.

"You're on the wrong side then!" she yelled as she began tending to her wounds. She had a simple first air kit and did what she could to keep the bleeding down. "The demons are just going to use you, at this rate!"
She did not even want to comment on the money aspect of this all.

"GARGH!!" Key wailed as he was assaulted by the two wolves. They attacked him in an almost feral fury, tearing him apart! Lamenting at his helplessness, he cried out "I'm...sorry...father..." before falling dead.

David thought that one over for a second and chuckled. Demons were horrible employers. It seemed Ms. Chambers was confused.
"It's not the demons I'm workin' for, Ms. Chambers! They never pay up! I'm here for an entirely different reason!"
The bounty hunter reloaded his auto pistol, waiting for either Ms. Chambers, the Paladins or someone else to attack him. Then he heard Key cry out his death wail. Someone else had done the job for him.

Eunica stood up, grunting. Her shoulder feeling a bit better enough to hild both of her guns again. She had one trained on Tracer the whole time. "Then who are you working for?" she asked. "And what is he hoping to accomplish by fighting us?"

The demon roared in anger at the old man's jeer, sword brandished and flaming and very much intent on ridding him of his head! Issac's feet rooted to the ground, and with an open, powerful hand, quickly snatched the offending attacker by the wrist and threw him, flattening him on the ground! With a swift draw of a vial from his pouch, he shattered a vial of sacred water on his foe, dealing extra scalding injury!

The gunslinger came out from behind his tree, pointing his pistol at Eunica and firing...
...at the demons behind her.
The rounds whizzed past her ears and splattered the heads of several demon soldiers that were running up to try and stab her from behind.
But it seemed that a certain NecromancerThaumatological Autopsist had her own bone to pick with Ms. Chambers.

Eunica's heart stopped for a moment, when she heard a familiar voice. Shepard had turned around before her.
"Master!" he called out, sortly before Eunica was knocked to the ground by the shovel. Blood dripped from her head as she tried to get back up, only to be forced to roll out of the way of another blow. He looked ahead and saw Omega and readied himself. "Attacking from behind, Omega? Come and face me, then."
"You think I'm here because of you?" she asked, holstering her guns and drawing her knife. "Don't flatter yourself, Rhea..."

Omega turned his head to face Shepard a moment before turning away, ignoring the ram entirely.
The necromancer laughed, bringing the shovel down.
