She said with a shrug. "You hungry? Want something to drink?" She shrugged again. Her father had said be a good host... but she wasn't much of a host even when trying. Verily rolled her eyes at her sister. "Dolly." She called politely. "Will you take Darius' bags to one of our spare bedrooms?" The house elf bowed to them all and offered her hands out to take the bags Darius was still holding. "Give them here kind sir and I shall put them in one of the guest rooms." Elli nodded her head. "Or if your tired you can go rest, or we can do any of the things we thought about doing in our letters..." She trailed and shrugged for a third time.

Before he could say something he saw a house elf she reminded him a bit of Squeezy the house elf at his house. He bent down to meet her. “Yes thank you Dolly that would be great.” He handed the bag to her. He was treated as if not worse then house elves so he understood how it felt and he never shown anything but kindness to one.

"Thank you kind sir." She said happily before taking his bags and disappearing into the hall. Elli watched her go before leading the way to the dining room.
"I'm sure your hungry Darius. I know I am after all that." She looked around, but before she could even ask for food, Jupiter came out from the kitchen bearing a tray of sandwiches.
"I'll be back in just another minute with more food and drink Miss Elli." He said politely before disappearing whence he came. Elli smiled.
"Thank you Jupiter." She said simply. She turned to Darius.
"And now you have met both our house elves. There families have been with ours for as long as... we as long as either family can remember." She smiled and took a seat at the table.
"Guests get first pick." Verily said, leaning against the wall behind her sister, and gesturing to the plate of sandwiches.

She hadn't been kidding when she said fighting off Shaw had worn her out. She happily took a bite and glanced at her sister. "I don't want any." Ver said quietly. She was watching Darius curiously. She wasn't sure why Elli had befriended him really. From what she'd seen he was rude, sarcastic, and not very nice. She chewed her lip thoughtfully.

She had never talked to either of the Ross twins, but Jazz had seemed nice when she saw her speaking to Chance, but that was the only person she really saw her speaking with. She didn't say anything though, and just stayed leaning against the wall. Elli looked up and shrugged. "Why wasn't she there?" She asked.

Verily said rolling her eyes. "Or are you to blind with hate to notice that she has friends?" Ver chewed her lip and looked at the floor. She felt bad for sounding so angry but the way Chance spoke, it sounded like Jaslyn was the nice one and Darius was the prat.. and Chance was her team mate she was supposed to trust him.
"Ver! What's gotten into you?" Elli asked in surprise at her sister. Her twin was usually quiet and sweet not biting and sarcastic. That was Elli's job.

She was starting to think the whole thing was ridiculously stupid. Virgil was most definitely a prat but from what she could see Darius was perfectly nice although a bit hot headed and from she had heard Jazz was quite nice too. Elli raised her eyebrow at her sister and pursed her lips as Ver whispered in her ear she rolled her eyes but smiled at her sister. "I think we've gone and scared her back into social anxiety land." Elli said with a chuckle. "As to what she's thinking... well she thinks you and Jaslyn just don't see eye to eye because of how you were raised and that if you two could actually talk without trying to chew eachothers heads off or call eachother names then there would be a lot less anger and hate." Elli shrugged and finished off her sandwich.

She'd probably hate me more now more then last year for what we've done.” He took a bite and wanted to end the talk about his 'family'.

Elli shrugged as well. "Who knows? She said. "I mean I know I'd be pissed if someone attacked Ver.... so yeah probably." She licked her lips and kicked her feet up onto the table. "When your done eating we can go do whatever you like."

Elli nodded. "Well we can go out to our... well our quidditch pitch... " She trailed off rubbing the back of her head. There father had it built for them when he realized they loved Quidditch. "Ver can teach you some beater stuff and I can get Gracie to play with us. Not that 4 people really makes a game but you know..." Elli trailed off awkwardly again.
