ChibiGingi So, question. Does anyone else in the Negaverse (or game in general) know of Queen Beryl's fate (in character, of course)? I ask because I'd like to see if this effects any Nega characters in play or if we must wait for it to be revealed before we get to work that factoid into our characters' developments. This question has been addressed in the Rift Q&A.
It is not known, ICly. All of the stage four characters aligned with Chaos are aware, and will be revealing such to the Generals & Co-Captains of the DMC relatively soon. From there, it will be released to the rest of the faction.

If I have a character and I want to change the name of that character's family member, can I just go a head and do that, or do I have to submit my character's form to reflect this?
Feel free to alter the names of your personal NPCs.

What attacks do senshi get to use, in regards to past stages? Do Eternals get to use their Super attack? What about their first, original attack? I've always been under the impression that they at least get access to their Super attack as well as Eternal (once Eternal+ ), but how would that affect the amount of times their attacks are used? If an Eternal can use their Eternal attack once, but were able to use their Super attack three times, is there any special math to it, or just "don't overdo it, and it's okay"?
Same goes with Knights. Would a Knight still have access to using their less powerful Squire magic, if they don't want to go all out on an opponent?
Yes, magic welders can use the powers from their earlier stages if they'd prefer during a battle. At the moment there is no set in stone limit or math regarding how that works other then as you put it "Don't overdo it". If it becomes a problem with people abusing it we'll eventually look into it, but we tend to trust players.
If you're an eternal and use all the uses of your eternal, super, and regular attacks in one battle that's probably a bit much (both in the realms of realism and fairness to your opponent). But you're definately allowed to mix and match within reason.
Knights are free to use their squire powers instead of their knight ones if they please, but for them the magic time limit is concrete. Whether you are using your more powerful or weaker power whatever your knight magic pool limit is, that's all you get.

I've recently been given a character for rehoming and I have a question in regards to requirements. Should I include the RPs that were already applied towards her upgrade to General, or would I need to start over on her Captain to General requirements?
I'm fine either way, I just wanted to make sure I got all of this right before applying RPs to requirements.
Thanks for your patience while we got back to you Gingi. RPs previously completed by Holy Blasphemy cannot count towards Mica's General requirements. However if you finish any incomplete RP that HB started, so as not to leave people hanging, you can count those towards the requirements.

With Princess Ares officially gone on very important business for the Court, what does this mean for people just now acquiring DMS characters?
Clarification will be coming on this shortly, sorry for the delay!

I didn't see this anywhere else, so...
Negas are encouraged to pick imaginary wonders are their past lives. What if someone chooses a bogus wonder for their past life Nega, figuring it wouldn't be a problem, but then later decides they actually want to Purify their Nega? Do they become the knight of the fake wonder?
No, all official knights need to have real wonder names. In a case like this it would probably be best for the player to pm the mule and talk about the situation. Most likely the player will have to choose a new name and retcon mentionings of the old name.
If you think you would probably like a purification in the future, it's not a bad idea to pick a legitimate wonder. Or at least, make the bogus name something similar so that it can be easily chalked up to the name being changed by language over time.

In the new guidelines for senshi there's the following line: Quote: At Super stage all senshi must have a solid-color pair of bottoms, generally matching the color of the bodice, with two stripes at the bottom in varying other colors. I was wondering if I could get clarification what this actually meant/ maybe a visual? We're basically just asking that you use a similar color scheme as was canon in Sailor moon. Super sailor moon had a white skirt with two different color stripes on her skirt like so. As mentioned, you can be creative with it but that is the color scheme we'd like. Here! Have a bunch of existing examples: Alcyone -- Circe -- Rosalind -- Orion.
Hope that helps!

I'm getting mixed answers on this so I thought I'd ask: can generals do awakenings? If so, is it horrifyingly awful for the person being awakened?
Disregard the first question - I found that generals can do so. I still want to know if it's horrifyingly awful though!
Anything that involves touching with/changing/messing with starseeds hurts. Purification, corruption, poking it for funsies, etc.

LP Okay Legit last question from me for tonight. Chibi Senshi - can they be aged at all in their past life or do they -have- to be their current age? -- I'm just asking for a gauge on what I can and can't do with this one. They can have gone through their growth ceremony and be a full-fledged senshi as past lives encompass the entire life of these characters a thousand years ago. We're still going to ask that you not play them at a power level greater than they have now. For example pretend Chibimoon is a Super senshi so she would have been an adult, but still only a Super senshi. Can the reverse also happen? ie. can a senshi who in the present was always teen/adult have awoken at a younger age in their past life as a Chibi senshi? I don't see why not. The whole idea of chibi senshi is to be sort of an apprentice senshi to the older senshi of that planet, such as Chibimoon and Sailor Moon.Very interesting! So if there was no other senshi of that planet, would a young senshi still be a Chibi until they passed the age guidelines the shop has for Chibis ( >14) or would they be the 'full' senshi, just... littler than normal (and therefore not as physically enhanced, etc.)? That's also an interesting question! Canonically in the series itself, there were no 'chibi' senshi unless there was already a senshi of that planet. However in our shop canon we have all of our chibi senshi, but no actual senshi of that planet or sphere above them so as to avoid conflict. So I would say that in our past canon they would have been chibi senshi until fourteen, then immediately made their 'offering' to become a fully-fledged senshi.
It opens up some interesting doors about planets to plot for the 'inadequacy' of their senshi for a decade and half for sure!

I'm not sure if these were mentioned anywhere but how does the Negaverse Branch Roster actually happen ICly? Is there a form to fill or an interview to go through for the application process? How does the newly recruited Lieutenant know which branch he was assigned to subsequently?
Also, is there a master list of all the officers in their respective branches made available to all for the ease of reporting to the Captains/Generals and fellow officers of the same branch that one has been assigned to? How does the communication device used by the Negaverse work anyway? ^^
Breaking the general protocol to request that someone with the most accurate knowledge answer this question. Indu, if you could please answer and remove the quote when finished? Thank you!
Happy to be of assistance!
Currently, officers are [hopefully] recruited for a reason, rather than randomly. It helps to know where you'd want them to go when you create your quest, and then have a general or GK of that branch do the corruption! ICly, Lieutenants/Scouts are not assigned a branch. They are going through their orientation process and training, and sometimes getting a new identity [in the case of newly corrupt senshi], as well as figuring out which branch they want to be in. Hence, they can transfer if they like upon reaching Captaincy.
ICly, no officer is left in the dark. They should be attending training - both in combat and in the rules and regulations of the Negaverse. They will show an aptitude for a branch, and be placed there [hopefully with their agreement!]. That officer may not know everyone of their branch personally, but there is definitely a roster, and they would know the names.
All officers should know the GK/GQs, and then they should know of the Generals [names, but not necessarily by site] of their branch, and then possibly the captains. If they need guidance, they are more than welcome to contact any of their superiors. That's the point of the branch/roster structure!
The communicators work pretty simply. If you activate it and call for another officer, if they're powered up, they will hear it. You can access it any time to call for help, by name, or report in, however, only powered officers can hear it. While they're often not used in general RP, they're not restricted, and you can feel free to do so. When they are destroyed, however, it sends an immediate SOS beacon to get the attention of other Chaos' folks.
Hope that helps!

Hi -- I was hoping to get a clarification on the RP reqs, since I think this could apply to several people. Quote: For Order players some of you are now wondering how the heck you’re supposed to get your growth requirements filled! Well, we’re going to suggest the same things for you that we suggest to our Chaos players, thus evening out the playing field: - You may spar or even attack players of your own faction. This counts as a battle requirement. - You may fight members of the Chaos faction or, depending on how they feel about you, spar with them as well. This counts as a battle requirement. - You get permission from the staff to have a friend play a NPC member of the Chaos faction that your character(s) will kill. This counts as a battle requirement. If an Order character and a Chaos character battle a monster (youma/mirrorwraith) together, does this count as a non-youma-only battle for their growth requirements? Or does one of them have to throw a punch at the other in order for it to count? That particular situation isn't listed above, but since it falls under the heading of cross-faction RP and battle experience, I was wondering whether or not it was another option. Thanks! For the most part Chaos characters should not be fighting and killing youma. If a character continually does this they may be reprimanded ICly or face consequences from their superiors. I assume you're more meaning wraiths now, while they are running a muck (which for the time being are pretty free reign to kill). Most wraiths should be very easy to kill, once they've sucked enough energy to be tangible once hit will kill them.
However if you can create a battle that is lengthy enough to actually be a battle, it would count in the case of an order and chaos member teaming up but not actually fighting each other.
The point of the new rule was basically to try and make sure people are actually encountering members of the other faction, as it's silly to think of a senshi being able to get to eternal without EVER having come up against a member of the negaverse or Dark mirrors. So working together coincides with interaction and what we were wanting to see.Thank you!

If a knight were to accidentally break their weapon, what happens?
More or less curious if it is "permanently" damaged until it is repaired by some means...
...or is it similar to how senshi fukus work, where when you unsummon and resummons the weapon, it will magically repair itself?
Weapons function in the same manner as a fuku. If something happens to damage it or it's taken away somehow it will be restored to it's original form when resummoned.
If however you wanted to try and propose a plot in which the item remains broken it may be possible with good enough explanation and plotting. In general though, breaking a character's weapon only affects it until the next them they summon it or henshin up again.

Why can't youma have magically based abilities? It sounds like offensive magic is strongly discouraged, but I can't find any reasoning to indicate why that is.
Iris: Because magic is more senshi domain then it is Negaverse/chaos. Beyond that youma tend to be more like animals then humans, therefore lacking the ability to cast a magic spell. That's not to say that youma can't have abilities that border on magical though as long as it makes sense coming from them. Youma have been allowed to spit weak acids, whip out vine attacks, or become shadow like and unable to hit for temporary amounts of time.
If you have an idea but are unsure if it will work please feel free to pm the mule and we can try to work something out with you!
