The door knocked, almost too loudly, behind the trainees, a Mist Hunter nodding just slightly. "We're done setting preparations as well, Life and Mist teams have left, the rest are awaiting further orders."
Allan distractedly fiddled with his cell phone charm as the Death division lead finally said something. "All the trainees and class five Hunters will arrive first then and serve as a proper distraction. I do not want to see a single ******** horsemen leave the perimeter, unless you would like to explain to the rest of the Council again why weeds continue to show up every single time we make progress."
The Mist Hunter shied away just slightly, nodding. "Understood- uh, sir....s." He briefly glanced at the Sun lead as if expecting the other to at least say something, though Allan seemed content just staring at the table as if it was talking to him. "Well, anyway- I guess I'll show you to the portal. This way then." As Caelius was not moving a single irate inch from his spot, it was really more practical to follow the messenger at this point. Said messenger continued to explain, occasionally shooting the two leads a look as if to say you can take over any time, really, rather nervously. "So we've had a well, a slight problem with, well, its really a familiar problem, you know, and its really not that big an issue, they just really want this to you know, be taken care of. Anyway, get what you need and meet up at the Lighthouse portal, a team is set up there to receive everyone."
There was a pointed scrape of the chair as the Death lead stood up, gathered the few folders on the table, and made an exit without another single word: clearly he was just feeling extremely social and friendly today.
It looked like the trainees at least had a few minutes to prepare before heading over to the portal. OOC: PREPARATION PHASE - Trainees can go to their dorms to get weapons/ get them checked by the quartermaster, or simply stay in the room to prepare. Once they are ready, they should head over to the Lighthouse Portal. (simply make a room exit/ lighthouse enter post when ready)

As the trainees readied to leave, Allan, sitting closet to the doorway, intercepted Rep with just a light tap on the back. He frowned a little at at the cuff, but did not say much else, though concern was evident in his expression. The Sun lead grabbed a small black duffel bag and passed the whole thing over to the trainee before they could react. "It's not much, but, for what it's worth, I still believe in you." And then there was a small smile, a ghost of what he should have been, strong and encouraging at all the trainees leaving. "Ganbatte."
He did not move to leave though, sitting there, still waiting for something, it seemed. Baneful - Rep has been given a small duffel bag, which he will find inside: - 1x Runic Bandages (roll 1d20 for effect) - 1x Modified Barrier Dagger (roll 1d20 for effect, shields all attacks until used up)

Deryk, who hadn't really been paying too much attention to his peers and their banter, soon paused as he overheard a certain word being thrown out. Horsemen? Had they already recovered so quickly? The thought didn't make the death trainee all too at ease, especially since the horsemen were probably extremely pissed at the hunters right about now.
No doubt they were wanting revenge.
This wasn't really a good sign to him. Fidgeting a bit, he hesitantly got up and left to get ready. EXIT ---- ENTER
Before heading to the portal, he had picked up his runic torch. Then, he waited, anxiously for further orders. As usual, they weren't given a whole lot of information. All he knew was that he and the other trainees were apparently supposed to act as a decoy of sorts for the horsemen. To try and settle him down, Tooley was humming softly in the back of his mind. It helped a little, but he was still rather nervous about this whole mission.

Ami didn't say anything, just stood up and left.
Orders were orders.
---
By the time she came back, she had bandages in her coat pocket- it was the only thing she could think to grab in her delirium. The word "horsemen" had set her on edge. She didn't want to deal with more insanity phoenixes. She could only take so many.
She shuffled towards the portal slowly, yawning and wiping the sleep from her eyes. Had she also used her time to take a tiny nap? Maybe. Ten minutes of sleep was better than none.
< Be careful. > Junpei repeated. He seemed more worried over this mission than she was.
I got it the first time.

As he sorted himself out to leave, Rep glanced around instinctually at the tap, expecting it to be one of the other trainees instead of Allan. As he realised, his his composed expression fleetingly slipped leaving him momentarily vulnerable and off guard. He dazedly took the bag before he even registered it, as his brain finally caught up, glancing down to it in realisation, then back to the sun lead, clenching it to his chest a little harder than he meant to, even the smallest of kindnesses meaning the world to him.
"Th.."
He wanted to say thank you, but the word stuck behind the lump in his throat, and it was all he could do to give up and close his mouth to simply nod to the sun leader, unable to keep his own genuine grateful smile - the first since he'd received the mission text - off his face.
Wether it was an act of pity didn't matter, he just clung to the fact that there were people who still believed he could do this, and he owed it to them to come back alive.

Looked like this was going to be a real mission. The recovering hunter was a bit concerned for himself for once but he'd been given a go ahead so he must have been ready to fight. He was sure Ceres wouldn't be pleased with this.
Bix shuffled out with the rest as he went back to his room to get some things and dress accordingly.
----------------------------------------
It didn't take long for him to return, boots and pants, runic torch. He'd taken to a more practical style of dress as his last shopping trip and now wore simply cargo pants with his boots and a snug UnderArmour shirt beneath his coat. His attempts at 'manning up' were carrying through to even his dress for battle. he wasn't yet qualified in most of the runic weapons so the torch hung alone from his belt.
He waited with the rest at the meeting point, a bit of concern on his pale face.

Candace stayed silent, mostly just watching the others as they filed in. A look was given to Sasha, one of worry and slight disapproval when she caught the look on the girl's face. Jerry, who was either oblivious or approved of her..did Harrison just growl? Candace blinked, turning a curious stare to her friend. He was very tense. She frowned. There was too much tension in the room. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat, hands folded neatly on her lap while she just waited. Allan was the most worrying thing in this room. He wasn't excited, he wasn't talking. What was on the mind of this man who was more comparable to an excited puppy with a shiny red ball than the typical Hunter on this island? Practically a male Julie with more anime references. A Mist Hunter entered the room and Candace perked up. She was more inclined to listen to another Mist hunter than Caelius. There were horsemen involved in this...great. Bring it. She stood when it was made clear they were leaving, to follow the Mist hunter to wherever they had put the portal this time. "A slight problem?" She asked as she stood, looking curious. How slight was it if even Allan wasn't in the best of moods? She'd never seen him so quiet before. Even during the battle in the horsemen's lands he was cheerful and happy and..annoying as hell, just like always. Candace watched Caelius make his exit with a roll of her eyes, turning back to the Mist hunter. "Understood~. See you in a few." She left then, heading for her room first. Her gloves were already in her pocket but she wanted to grab her belt of pouches first. They were secured around her hips as she walked, strapping one of them to her thigh while she made a detour to the quartermaster for a runic torch. She didn't waste time, already putting her gloves on as she approached the Lighthouse Portal. She looked around, noting Ami rubbing at her face. "You okay?"

She nodded once in the direction of Kat, acknowledging that she had noticed the woman's glance, before her attention snapped to the familiar rumbling of THAT voice. Turning to watch the Death Hunter lead, she listened like the others and at the mumbling of 'horsemen' she felt herself shivver once.
Horsemen? HERE?
No wonder they were in a panic, and about to go on a rather serious mission. Without saying much else she too left with the crowd to go to her room and gear up.
Serious missions did not mean shorts and tank tops, they meant getting ready as best as they could. It meant scarves, coats, gloves, boots, under armor tops, and.. well. In general gearing up. Preparing for battle.
It also meant little time to Worry about her Albino friend, because he was still healing and just signed himself up for another round with the horsemen. She would have already worried about him along with his other friends, but those stitches on his side just made the protective feeling greater.
Great.

Now fully in hunter-gear (for the first time in ages) her boots made the familiar scrunching noises as she walked. She made sure to keep them clean, maybe Takeru was influencing her clothing habits just a little. Enough to polish her boots at least. Her coat flew out behind her, heck she even put on the detached sleeves. Her red cross around one arm was on as well, she had some medical knowledge, maybe it would help in the field if others knew this as well.
Approaching the portal she saw the mass of coats, each with different designs and yet similar emblems. Holding a breath in and letting it out she meshed in with the crowd, blending in perfectly. Time to see if any of the training she had done was worth it, or if her time in that pod left her more handicapped than she thought.

Sasha rose to her feet and exited the room. This mission would serve as a good way to work off excess frustrations. Allan didn't seem to be his normal kokoro self; it was a little worrisome, but then again, Caelius. Even though Sasha hadn't had much interaction with the Death lead, she'd heard enough about him.

After collecting her runic daggers and runic bandages, Sasha waited by the lighthouse portal for further instructions. She busied herself making sure everything was secure, that Nona was in place and ready to go.

Otto wasn't sure if it was a good thing Allan was different. He liked not hearing speeches and being safe from outlandish actions, but at the same time it didn't seem right. Something was wrong here.
As usual, they were all going to be used as decoys. Figures.
He got up when the meeting was more or less dismissed and left.

One day, he really needed to get off his a** and get clearance for Runic weapons. For now, he only had himself, Tenya, his cell phone and a small back pack with warm clothes.
Because if this was Antarctica again he didn't want to take a chance at not being prepared.

Kat was about to reply to Ami when the moon hunter arrived and began to speak with Caelius and Allan. She had never seen the horsemen before, but she knew from what everyone else had said, that they were a pretty big deal. Big enough, that Deus decided to wipe out the four clans even. This mission..sounded like it was going to be a big one.
Not really having anything to run back to her dorm for, Kat remained in her seat, and waited around until it was time for them all to ship out to the portal.

There didn't seem like there was much time to talk. Tikaanis crossed her arms over her chest and listened carefully to what was being said. She then got up and walked out to gather her materials.

Now the teen returned in her full on hunter gear. Tika had a small bag with a few basic things she would need as well. There was no need to pack every thing. She had a change of clothing, a cellphone, a tooth brush and of course Atti. Atti's charm hung from her headphones like usual. This was kind of exciting.
She approached the portal.

Wilson nodded his head at Sherry. “Yeah. How’ve you been?” There wasn’t much time for him to make idle conversation before the actual briefing started. He gave the Death leader a curious look at the mention of horsemen, but chose to say nothing about it. Things would make sense eventually, right? The corner of his lip twitched. Right.
He received a new message and he managed to crack a smile when he read it. “No problem,” he muttered before he got up. Wilson looked over at Sherry. “Well, see you there.” He half-nodded to the life trainee before he headed out.

Grumping took a backseat as he was approached but a mist trainee he didn't recognize. Not that he knew all the mists but they got around. Or Cass talked about them. Returning the smile, (if a bit weakly), "Nice to meet you Tikaanis. It's an interesting name. I'm Marcus Hasan, moon division." When she mentioned new faces he looked around. If she was freshly hatched then yeah, but the way she spoke made him think she must have been elsewhere? Enough trainees came and went so who knew. Not his division after all. Looking to the leads, (and to poor sods who were left to talk under them), Marcus smiled to Taki as they finished. "You can hide for a bit, but come mission I tend to go to the sun hunters and work on defending them. Candace and Cass are both pretty nice mist hunters and could give you a fast run down." No sign of Aria, but then he didn't expect her, or Lance to be joining them. "Try to stick with what you know, and if you need help, ask someone above you where to go. If that fails, just keep yourself safe." Sitting up he went on his way to pick up the gear he needed. [exit] ------- [enter] Arriving at the portal, daggers and other devices in tow, Marcus gave a small wave to Ceres and then Tika before going to Candace. "Hey, you've got a bit of little rabbit running around." A small motion over to Tika. "She's just a bit shy? Dunno but figured you might want to keep an eye on her. Or hook her up with one of the intermediates?" A look to Ami and- "... You've been sleeping in the Labs haven't you?" At least she didn't have doodles on her face.
