KIDS AGAIN? "LISTEN, YOU--" Kat snarled, turning towards Jim, temper rising. "I don't give a s**t what you say! Your the ones who need to get the hell out of here! Your fueling the damned thing with your fear! The more scared you are, the stronger it is! On top of that, you can't even see it! How do you suppose fighting that thing without being able to see it? And without a weapon, no less!" If they were worried about getting picked off, then they could at least escort them to whatever vehicle they had. But them remaining here was not an option that would bode well for them.
Her crimson gaze landed on Stan when the female ghost hunter called out to him, catching him only for a second before he disappeared entirely. "What the hell..?" Her attention was then drawn to the sound of floor boards creaking, and then screaming from above. How the hell did the ghost even..!? Following Jim and the girl up, she arrived just in time to see Stan's body fall through the floor, hanging lifelessly next to Larry's.
Okay..now it was really time for these two to get the hell out of here!
Wincing from the two yelling, she reached out, and grabbed a hold of their shirts, shaking the two viciously for a few seconds to stop their screaming. "Okay! You guys are scared, we know! But now you really have to get out of here!" If they had to drag them out kicking and screaming, so be it!

Kids. “We’re not kids, and we understand. This isn’t new to us,” he answered patiently. That was when Kat lashed out at Jim. An arm reached out for the sun trainee, placing an arm on her shoulder and trying to gently move her away from the man. “Calm down. They don’t know what we know, so we have to take this one step at a time.”
There was the notable lack of arm clinging from Stan. In fact, the intern wasn’t next to Wilson anymore. He was at the stairs. Wilson could hear the brunette call out Stan’s name. Why did her voice make him feel uneasy? Sure, he had told everyone to go up the stairs, but it was just Stan up there, alone. Looking unsure, he began to head toward the stairs. “Stan—“
Stan was gone.
He rushed up the stairs after the other two. His muscles tensed as he stared at the second body. “Stan—“
That was his fault. His fault because he had told him to go up the stairs and Stan had obeyed. The weight of a person’s life was heavier than Wilson thought. The guilt was a heavy presence that could easily drop him to his knees. Wilson stared blankly at the two bodies. He rubbed his face with his hands, curled fingers pushing back guilty tears.
Keep your voice steady. Keep calm. “Kat’s right. You two and whoever else you have in this building need to get out now.”

Aleister paused when there was screaming from where Stan had left, frowning. This was no good. Where was that monster. The death hunter sighed heavily as he looked around, well this wasn't going to end well. Speically with two dead "Wilson, Kat get them out of here, I'll... try to... er.... distract... it?"
"HEY BANSHEE b***h." He didn't like this idea he had one bit, but Wilson and Kat were probably more capable of helping get humans out. "WHY DONT YOU PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE AND LEAVE THE GHOST HUNTERS ALONE."
<....Kid you've gone mad.> Puca muttered. Not that the blitzball minded but still....
"COME AT ME." He had the blitzball out ready to aim for the ghost. <It's killed two people I can't let it get the rest of them. We should've cleared the house first.....> He answered Pookie grimly.

"We're not moving!" Jim stood adamant, though his legs were quavering like jello. "How do you know that won't happen to us? We're just gonna die here, aren't we, oh god, oh god oh god-"
He really wasn't helping the mood.
'Hunters are icky.' The voice echoed close to Al and then further away all at once, echoing and then laughing mockingly. 'They smell funny, and they don't hurt the same way normal Humans do. There's no fun entertaining people who don't play fair.' Another peal of laughter. 'Now who should I go after next? I really like playing hide and seek!'
There was a loud creak, as every single door upstairs slammed closed, save for the basement trap door. They had a choice: go up together, or stay down and bide their time.

Wilson gave Jim a look. “You can wait here and die, or you can try to get out and die trying, but maybe you’ll get out alive.” Both options didn’t sound very good, to be honest.
He didn’t like Al’s idea. There was no way he was going to leave the other death trainee by himself. “Al, no—“ His tongue clicked at the ghost’s words and he squeezed his eyes shut for a moment when the doors up above began to close one after the other. “I never really liked hide and seek,” Wilson mumbled to himself before he grabbed Jim’s arm and tugged it. “If we go up we can try to figure something out, but if we stay here we’re going to stay helpless.” He made a point to not look at the two bodies. Who else would be joining them? “We should move.”

Damn it! Out of all the civilians they had to come across, why were these ones so stubborn!? "Al, are you crazy? You just got flung by that thing a few minutes ago." She admired his courage, but now wasn't the time for heroics.
With the option of staying here, or going up, she approved of Wilson decision to go upstairs. As he grabbed for Stan's arm, Kat in turn gently nudged the ghost hunter girl to follow them while she took the rear guard. "Come on, Al. Looks like we're all together in this." As much as she hated the idea of having to constantly watch the backs of these ghost hunters, in fear they might end up like their dead friends--they had no choice at this point.
"Mark, are you even still there? We could really use your help right about now!"

Aleister paused, "Ha... that's what pookie asked." He answered dimly as the thing started taunting them again.
He looked towards the basement door as the rest of them closed, "Okay, never mind time to go~!" He headed up the stairs trying to make sure everyone in front of him had gone, "Talk about not playing fair, this thing isn't playing fair."
He paused, ".... I wonder if it's interfering with our communication to Mark." He frowned, he didn't think the ghost equipment was doing it. This was a game of cat and mouse not hide and seek. "W-wilsonnnn, Kat, do either of you have a plan?" He asked. Maybe this wasn't the best time to think of not having one but, it was better now than never?

As if Al's musing had sparked it, the headset thankfully crackled again with a familiar voice on the other set. "Oh yeah, daddy likes it like that." Insert some sensual lip smacking. "Oooohhh yessss come to me baby, mmrphphhhh oh Twinkie, why are you so good to me..." It was very possible that Mark had forgotten he was on the headset still.
"Y-you first then!" Jim motioned for Wilson, pointing up. "We'll f-follow you guys, yeah..." He trailed off, clearly trying not to look at the body. In his hands were Larry's camera and Stan's hat. He might have uttered another miserable sort of moan and a high-pitched sob, a noise no adult man should really ever make.
The hallway upstairs was too quiet, light peering distantly through the floorboards. Said floorboards were dripping a deep red, making distinct shapes on the ground. Footprints, with small bare feet. For a second the trainees would hear a humming noise, a child singing, as the door next to them jostled.
The two survivors stuck incredibly close to the trainees, terrified as everything began quavering again, each board wobbling unevenly, portraits tipping and smashing over. Wait these portraits hadn't been there befo-
-Another high pitched giggle and a flash of white.
"Did you see that?!" Jim backed away from the source of the noise. "I could have sworn I saw something, a real life spectral entity!" He began to raise his arms into the air. "Oh, spectral entity, if you can hear us, we come in pea-"
-The floorboards collapsed until everyone, sending them falling into a new room below, one covered with only broken, rusted mirrors.

“Mark.” Wilson was glad to hear Mark’s voice again, but that was probably not the best line to come back to. He coughed and repeated in a louder voice, “Mark.”
He raised both arms up at Jim. “Sure. Just…don’t wander off, okay? It’s probably better to stay in a group at the moment.” Wilson kindly ignored the sound that had come out of the man’s mouth. He ascended the stairs. The ground was decorated with red footprints. Lovely. Wilson hesitated when he heard humming. “Please tell me it’s one of you guys,” he murmured just before the singing kicked in.
Portraits began to clatter noisily. He furrowed his brows and confusedly eyed the fallen frames. Wait, no, did this place have portraits—
Why did Jim pick now of all times to speak up and be nerdy? He turned around to look at Jim. “How about we keep movi—“
The entire group fell through the floor and into a room filled with old, broken mirrors. Groaning from the fall, Wilson rolled to his side and spoke into the headset again. “Mark, if you could give us some instructions that would be greatly appreciated.”

Kat's face blanked at the sound of something playing over their headsets. Oh my gawd.. "Mark..I swear to God, if your watching porn, I'm going to ******** kill you and then sell all of your possessions on ebay!" It was nice to know, that when they needed his input on the situation, he was there for them. "And who the ******** is Twinkie!?"
Continuously growling into her headset, Kat looked to Jim as he spoke, nodding and shrugging. Fine, they could go first if they were so scared. Though, she would still prefer a hunter take up the rear guard, just in case.
Taking cautious steps, Kat decided to keep Xedis summoned, just in case she would need him in a hurry. Pausing in her steps, Kat cocked her head to the side, straining to hear the hum of what sounded like a child singing. If there was more than one ghost here, then this could be more of a problem then she thought. This one they were dealing with was bad enough.
Glancing over her shoulder at Jim as he spoke, she truly wondered if he had actually seen it, or was beginning to hallucinate. She didn't have time to question it, when the whole group ended up falling through the floor. Hitting the ground with a thud, Kat managed to crack her head off of something in the room. The floor, perhaps? "Oh my ********!" Sitting up, Kat held her head in hands, tentatively rubbing the back of her head.

"I hope he's not molesting my little ponies." He muttered as they continued, "Worse an actual twinkie...." He sighed he was never going to look at snake cakes the same.
"MARK we're in deep trou----------ble." It was dragged out when they fell, "Ow. What kind of Mad house is this!?"

" Little Bo-Peep has lost her sheep, and can't tell where to find them."
The sound of footprints coming from the distance, and then each mirror lit up, now piled in even rows one across from each other, illuminating an entire hallway. At the far end was the ghost, the strange faceless girl, taking slow, deliberate steps. " Leave them alone, And they'll come home, wagging their tails behind them."
"HOLY s**t!" Jim was the first to scream as he pointed at the apparition walking closer, yammering in hysterics about the paranormal and vengeful spirits.
In a flicker, the ghost was at his throat, pushing him straight back into the far end. She slowly held up one finger to her lips. "Shhh.... play time is not over."
SNAP. The mirror closes to Wilson shattered, raining him with several pieces of glass, debris.
SNAP. A second next to Kat and Al, sharps attempting to cut through their skin.
SNAP. A third close to the still screaming and hysterical Jim.
Even though the ghost was facing Jim, she turned her head a full one-eighty degrees towards the trainees. "I thought you were going to play with me."
"Jim!" A voice, suddenly, cutting through everything else. Everyone turned their heads, even the girl, in surprise.
It was Stan, standing there, burns still around his neck. His form flickered for a second, transparent. He looked determined. "Jim, I'll-I'll handle this. Run far, far away!"
"They're here already?" The first apparition seemed disappointed. "They always cut my play time! This isn't fair!" She stomped one leg in tantrum, as the floor caved in once again dangerously and arms, pale and withered, appeared from the surface of each mirror, threatening to pull the trainees in. "Won't you all still play with me a little longer?"OOC BOSS CAN NOW BE ATTACKED, HAVE AT IT. You can only attack UP TO TWO TIMES per GM round.

Trust the ghost to recite nursery rhymes to make the entire situation even more creepy.
“Mark?” Wilson called into the headset. He groaned again, his forehead pressed to the ground before he pushed himself up. “You guys aren’t too hurt, right?” A wince as Jim screamed. “How about you calm down a bi—let him go.” The girl released Jim alright, but it wasn’t exactly the gentlest drop ever.
Shattering glass filled his ears. He raised both arms in front of his face to shield it from the raining shards. They mostly fell against his clothes, but a few managed to scratch his hands or neck. Jim’s shrilly screaming informed Wilson that a mirror probably exploded near the man too. He didn’t care if there were civilians watching; Wilson pulled the goggles off of his neck and summoned his weapon. He murmured to himself while he adjusted the mask. “Oh, we’ll play with you alright.”
He heard a familiar voice and Wilson turned toward it. But no, it couldn’t be—it was. How could he…? Wilson blinked, zeroed in on the burns and his flickering image. Of course.
When the ghost stomped the floor, Wilson tried to hold his ground. He ran across the floor and swung an arm at the ghost.

"Nothing serious." Rubbing at the back of her head, she winced when Jim started screaming again. Struggling to stand, Kat staggered and placed a hand against the wall to steady herself. Jumping back a little when the mirrors exploded beside her and Al, she picked a few of the shards from her skin.
Between Jim's screaming and her splitting headache, Kat couldn't take much more of this. Lifting her weapon to fire at the ghost, she fired one shot, but missed by a long shot. Okay, maybe it was better not to fire when she wasn't full concentrating.

Aleister frowned heavily as he tried to keep an eye on the ghost. The fact it was talking nursery rhymes were... troubling at best. When the mirrors started breaking Al couldn't help but ball up covering his head out of instinct more than anything.
"Ohhh I hate horror flicks." He muttered trying to stay calm so as not to panic the civilians more. There was a pause when someone said Jim. Al looked up, "..... I hope he's friendly..." He muttered as he flailed when the arms started trying to grab them.
"Ah~haha, get away kid!" He summoned pookie, normal people be damned and swung at the mirrors.
